Welll, they put control arms on my car that didn't belong on my car, which is apparently illegal, and to *make* them fit they CUT the metal that is in front of the brakes! See the pictures. I fought for 2 months through my credit card for a refund and finally got it. Not my only issue, just the biggest. Car was too dangerous to drive and had to buy a different one. Don't do it. Really, DON'T DO IT.

Fantastic service and work on my Subaru. Jay guided me through my options and offered solutions in a fast and friendly manor. Will never go back to a Subaru dealership again after getting such great service(and cost effective) from these guys.

My dad trusts this Pep Boys and so do I. Great prices, speedy service, and I always see them doing a great job explaining things to customers. Charlie in particular is extremely patient and kind, I wish more places offered the level of customer service he does. Shouts out to Charlie, a real 1 ^__^

When checking in for my new tire appointment, I was told they did not have all of the tires ready for me. Instead of waiting for the tires to be changed, I had to use ride share to get to work, an extra inconvience. Was suggested I should pay for an alignment adjustment even though my alignment was fine. Accepted because they are the experts. Never got a call notifying me my car was done, but when I did come to pick it up the alignment was very off with my car drifting to the right now. Came back in the next day to have them update. Was told it could be done in 15 minutes, yet after an hour, they still had not fixed because sensors weren't working and after driving the car again the alignment was still off. Frustrating that I paid extra for something I didn't need and my car came back in worse condition.Follow Up: Took it to the Pep Boys in Santa Monica and they were able to correct the issue. Still the entire process was incredibly inconvenient.

Horrible customer service ordered tires on tire rack for pep boys to install. Was told when I came for my appointment that no one was there that could put them on because they left already. Why am I able to make a 5:30 appointment if your techs leave at 5 Ok fine whatever But then you guys REFUSED to give us the tires? We had to call tire rack the next day just for them to tell us that you can t refuse to give them to us and you lied about it being policy?? Another pep boys even confirmed this isn t a policy it s just made up.To top it off they never said sorry or tried to remedy the situation they were just rude about it to me and even more so to my girlfriend when she was trying to deal with this herself.AGAIN STAY AWAY FROM HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED HALFWAY DECENT!!!

I went to Pep Boys Overland to get my Porsche Battery fixed and Jay totally took care of me.Jay was a total professional and got my Battery done in record amount of time.If Jay can be recognized or rewarded for his excellent customer service it would be greatly appreciated.So happy with Pep Boys!

I took. my car in. for a battery service. I ordered and scheduled online which was super easy. This is the best Pep Boys Service center in Los Angeles and I have been to almost all of them and locations outside. of the county. Oepheus and his crew are friendly, professional and welcoming. I was in and out faster than any car service I have ever had. They have things down and will leave you smiling

Great experience here. Blew out my headlights and not only did the manager fix them for me for free, he walked me through how I could fix them myself in the future.

I'm exasperated with the changes in car battery service and pricing. A process that used to be integrated and cost-effective at Pep Boys has become disjointed and expensive. The battery alone at AutoZone was $340, and Pep Boys, now operating next door as a separate entity, charged me $130 for labor. Moreover, the installation took an hour and a half on a quiet Tuesday morning, whereas it used to take a mere 15 minutes. This drastic change in service efficiency and the steep rise in cost, separating product from service, is, frankly, just another way the consumer gets screwed

Do not use this location if you are African American descent/Black. I paid $1796.00 to have my vehicle repaired less than two weeks ago. The check engine light came on. I came back to have it looked at. The manager Rick told me the tech who looked at my car was not in and I d have to come back tomorrow. I asked him was there no one who could look at it today and he told me no because it was a special service. When has a tune-up and having coils replaced become a special service? Nevertheless as He was getting ready to explain something to me, my phone rung and I answered as I m answering, he starts loud talking me telling me, that s so rude, who answered there phone while someone is about to tell them something. This dude literally starts throwing a temper tantrum, while I m on the phone. No professionalism AT ALL! I can answer my phone if I choose too, I m not at Work Rick, You are! I truly feel Richard was being straight up racist towards me and I told him that. Nevertheless I asked Him for his managers number and he tells me I am the manager. He didn t want to tell me how to make a complaint or anything. I WISH I WOULD HAVE NEVER USED PEP BOYS IN SIMI VALLEY, CA. All people should be treated equally and not mistreated based on the color of their skin. Devin was kind to me, THANK YOU DEVIN! Simi Valley Pep Boys on Los Angeles needs a new manager, one with character and self control.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would.I first walked in and they tried to sell me a $100 head light bulb, and I know they are $20. I understand making a sale and trying to do your job to make a cut, but I had to tell him what I know and make him scroll down to the cheaper ones, finally showing me an $18 one after telling me the cheapest was $100.Now, usually someone always has helped me pop in the headlight, as it takes 1 min if that. I usually always tip someone $20 for doing so and here usually someone has been so kind to help me and every time has offered to. A guy working in the garage, I asked him if someone could help me. He said "These hands aren't free" in a very rude way showing his hands and told me to tell the service desk so he could get paid for it. Mind you, I did not ever say please do it for free. I said I would tip. I told him he didn't need to be rude but he told me how it takes a REALLY long time to change a head light.I have never had this experience in my life at a PepBoys and I was so disappointed. I ended up watching a Youtube video in the parking lot in front of them and changed it myself in I kid you not, 1 minute.I am writing this review because I think customer service is SO important and I was so disappointed. I don't think any worker should ever be condescending to a customer like that, telling them that "your hands aren't free". No one ever said that sir.If you go here, good luck getting help with anything!

Charles took great care of my situation. I've had some not great experiences with larger chain auto spots (being a female). I dropped my car off and Marvin gave me a call. He was very clear and answered questions as well. When I picked up the car, Charles really explained everything to me, especially after I asked more questions - he could explain in more detail. I felt heard and respected and will definitely come back.

I needed a tire repair and this location gave me great service. Even with it being busy near the holidays, they got my car back on the road in less than 24 hours with me being a walk in. I will always come back to this Pep Boys!!

Im sorry that the lady name Trick hates everyone including herself! Awful place, Im glad that there are another places like this so we dont need to go here! She is horrible, first impression enough to judge this place! If you go here, you should be mentally prepared.

I have always had very good experiences at my local Pep Boys - the last time was for tires. I got a great deal and the job was finished more quickly than my most optimistic hopes. I highly recommend them.

Efren was incredibly helpful for our battery change. He walked us through all of the options for battery replacement and was patient with us when we were deciding. As soon as we bought the battery, he came to our car and replaced the battery for us. He was awesome

Nightmare experience. TLDR: They broke my SUV and an employee, Charles, called me the n-word.I dropped off my SUV at 1PM because my tire light was on. The sales manager assured me I needed new tires and brakes. We agreed to a price. They called me at 6PM and said my car was ready. I paid the $1900 for tire replacement and brake replacement. They assured me all they had to do was a test drive. When they took the car down off the lift, it was broken. It could not be driven more than 20 feet without a horrible banging noise. A technician told me, "We just have to turn off the All Wheel Drive activation." (There is no All Wheel Drive activation.) I asked them to fix what they broke and call me when it was repaired. They called me an hour later and asked me to come back. When I arrived, I was confronted by the same sales manager and two technicians. They tried to say I had brought them a broken car and was trying to scam them. I literally drove the car to their shop with my kids in it. One of the employees, Charles, said "Why are you trying to scam us, n****r?"I asked them to do the right thing and fix what they broke. They refused. Incompetent workmanship that is now going to result in a small claims court. Take your car anywhere else in West LA.
