Jimmy has been my mechanic for almost 15 years now. He is a friendly, honest, and skilled mechanic. He's kept my Ford, Subaru and now Honda Odyssey running well past 200k.

I've been taking my cars to Jimmy for 20 years now. He always gives me a real explanation of repairs needed, and he has always had my car back in 24 hours at what seems like a reasonable price. Anyone that leaves reviews saying Jimmy is rude must understand that he's doing all the mechanic work by himself, and some times when I stop by I can tell he's got a big backlog of cars to fix, so I ask him what time is best for him to bring my car back. So, if you do bring your car in, expect to have to set an appointment. Jimmy just doesn't have the parking for too many cars at one time, so expect to be flexible with him, and he will fix your car timely and reasonably priced.Services: Electrical repair, Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

Jimmy is the best! I've been bringing my old Toyota to him for the last 5 years and he is amazing. Always professional, kind, thorough, speedy, and charges a fair price. Jimmy is the best! I have been taking my 84 Volvo to him for about 2 years and there is no better mechanic in LA. We also take our other car 2001 Expedition and Jimmy is always fair. Attention! PLEASE check all bolts and nuts in the area that he worked on your car. HE DOESN'T TIGHT BOLTS AND NUTS!!!He used to be a nice guy. But recently he started just charging money for nothing. He will give you back your car and say that its fine, however problem will be still there.

I've been going to Jimmy for years with my aging 2006 Scion, and am almost reluctant to advertise how good and fair his work is so there isn't a run on his expertise. He always gives it to me straight, tells me to avoid certain costly fixes, offers me cheaper work-arounds, and is consistently a third to half cheaper than any other mechanic I've gone to for most repairs. I have an Asian-made car, so I can't speak for any other models (American or European), but he's been solid and good to me and I trust him.

Jimmy is the best mechanic in LA, he is honest and gets the job done. It s rare to find a mechanic that won t attempt to take advantage of you. I would recommend him to everyone I know, and will continue to go here.

Jimmy is the real deal! All da bomb frostings! He and his crew know how to do the job right, they are reliable, friendly and honest. You will not pay anything extra or be sold into something you don't need. I come from a family of mechanics. I refer all my friends and family (in the area) to go to Pacific Auto for all their repairs.

I always feel really good bringing my car here. He helped me on several occasions - from helping me pick out a used car, to expertly patching a leak in my tire in minutes. Really happy that I have someone in town that I trust to look at my car.

Jimmy's awesome. The dealer said I needed to replace my throttle $600.00. Jimmy said it just needed to be cleaned. $50.00. Thanks!!! Somebody said best mechanic in LA. I agree!

They have the fairest prices and assessments, and I ve been around the block before I landed here. Plus the turn-around of the service is fast! I always feel confident I ll have the best results when dropping off my car here.

jimmy is a complete fail. Strongly recommend anyone to not take their car into the mechanic. Anywhere but this guy. He is disgusting rude can't speak English smells really bad and I would not recommend anybody to take their car into this mechanic shop

I've now taken four cars of different makes here - Ford, Acura, Saturn, and Jeep. Jimmy hasn't overcharged for anything, or recommended work that didn't need to be done.

Jimmy has serviced all our cars since 1998 when we moved to the Silver Lake area. Starting with my Nissan Quest, my husbands Pathfinder, our daughters cars from a 1964 Dodge Dart,1971 Chevy Nova, 1969 Volvo and now her 2009 Chevy Aveo. Never once did we think to take our cars anywhere else.

Love this guy. Jimmy. I really believe he recommends the work that needs to be done. And recommends not to do the work (yet) that can wait. Trust is hard to come by in this industry, and should be rewarded to given business.

Mechanic didn t even want to look at my car, said he was closed the same day I called him & and the next day. Thanks for nothing besides picking up the phone. Probably discriminated against me because I m a female human being.
