Visited this place 3/23/24 to replace stock rearsets to aftermarket (MGP rearset from hotbodies racing). I try to install things on my own but I wasn't confident enough so I went to this place to install instead because this was my first bike. Brake side was done ok with brake light working fine. But shift side was horrible. Shift pedal was pointed so downward that it was difficult to upshift (i assumed this was normal since this was supposed to be adjustable racing kit). Day after which is today, took the bike out for a ride. I immediately felt shifting uncomfortable. After riding on highway about 20 miles and exited to local, it was impossible to shift up or down on local road. When I looked down on left side, a gearshift rod came off dangling. I managed to reconnect gearshift somehow and safely came back home. It sucked to be parted away from group ride because of this breakdown. This place even displayed rearsets in their store so assumed they would be professional at installing rearset but very disappointed that they didn't even test ride to ensure their work. Not even bothering to call Polo to complain, I won't come back.

Polo is an honest dude. No frills. Went in to change my brakes (I m a new rider and thought they were almost done) and he let me know I had a couple thousand more miles on it. Someone shady could ve just taken my money. Have since changed my chain and forks there. Recommend this place. Only thing is not sure if the phone number on Google is correct bc often no one picks up but a number I got on the business card is good.

I love going here, Polo knows what he's talking about and always trying to help. Don't hesitate to go here for ALL your motorcycle needs, if he doesn't have it he'll order it and he is fair with his prices definitely would recommend for any bike owner #1 ... thank you for servicing your community

I had a very good experience when I needed levers for my Triumph. My Triumph came with polished levers which were damaged so I looked everywhere for black levers to change the look but couldn't find them. I went to Moto Tecnica with my old ones and a caliper and found a black set that worked. They were patient and let me look through their stock. $20 was a deal!Thank you guys.

I've owned 4 motorcycle in my adult life, I'm 32 & have been taking all the bikes I've owned including the 2 I still own to this day. His patience in listening to understand is 1 of the reasons why I keep going back.Highly recommend this place.

Polo is an excellent mechanic. He adjusted the rear brake, fixed the clutch and changed the belt on my delivery scooter. Made it purrrr like new. Also, he gave me a good deal for some warm gloves on a freezing cold day. He's a class act.

I wanted to change my pipes and got honest advice from Polo. Bought new slip-ons and took my bike here to have them installed. Great price and service, my bike looks and sounds way better

I called beforehand to see if they had tires available for my bike and they did. So I went and the guy in there was really respectful and Replaced my rear tire in no time. I would recommend.

This review is long over-due a few months ago I dropped off my 02 GSXR 750 that wasn't throttling correctly. I arrived and was greeted by Polo, he was welcoming and very knowledgeable. He told me everything that needed to be done with my bike and quoted me a reasonable price.It took some time because it was hard for me to find the correct parts I needed. But when my bike was done I picked it up and it was running back toNormal, felt like it had even more power than when I first rode it.Services: Engine repair, Battery

Polo and his whole crew is legit! Always got the little goo stuff on every torq'd bolt, always get honest information and help. This is a motorcycle repair shop that carries tires and I've had basic service done like brakes and oil changes when I dont have time. Call ahead since he is usually busy, check out Mystic coffee if you're there in the morning !![(UPDATE)]stoked always to ride away from Moto Tecnica, great advice always not just trying to get me to spend more money but economically find ways to keep me riding for longer. He has a good selection of tires and other parts to get you rolling again if your missing something, also lots of nice upgrades hanging around the shop if your bike so happens to need race sprockets, I've seen good stack of vortex and other stuff there, quality work and the mechanics are always great

The best experiences in ANY motorcycle repair and custom shop in all of LA take place at Mototechnica. Polo and his team are deeply knowledgeable with just about every bike you can imagine. I've taken my my bikes here for almost a decade, this is your best bet to get any bike into happy territory & our coffee gang has a healthy line of bikes. Thanks for all the years of great service, nothing even comes close!

Great shop, good work. Remember, motorcycles aren't cheap and good work is what you pay for!! If your given a dirt cheap price elsewhere, your not getting quality knowledgeable mechanics

Polo is far and away the kindest, most generous, honest and straightforward mechanic of any variety I ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. His shop works fast, clean, and they get it right every time. Not to mention the absurdly low pricing. Completely worth the effort to get there from anywhere in LA to get your bike worked on. Could not recommend this shop more highly. 11/10 stars.

Would absolutely recommend to others and will return.I got in here to get a set of tires mounted. Polo jumped in and helped me out immediately. Every other shop wanted atleast 24hrs if not more.They've got a ton a stuff in that shop and will help you out and do the work you want done. Polo's experience about long distance travels was certainly helpful too!

This trusted motorcycle shop won't let you down. I've brought my bike for different problems and they always succeed on taking care of it. The staff there are really nice and can be dependable on fixing your motorcycle.

I was recommended this spot from a friend and it was the best advice anyone has ever given me. Other shops local to me had always tried ripping me off cause I'm a female but Polo is a no BS kind of solid guy. Him and his shop do great work for a great price. Honest, reliable and solid establishment I'd highly recommend to any rider out there looking to get work done on their wheels.

Bad experience, one thing by phone, and in person, it is the same when you visit a doctor, you go for regular flu, and after that request test for prostate, colon cancer, blood, eyes, tooth, etc, etc. Becareful with this mechanic...

Went In for bar wobble at low speeds. Polo took a look and test ride, all checked out but the tires.. suggested me getting a new set, so I did. Ordered threw the shop. Mounted and balanced and no more wobble that was my issue - thanks great service and very experienced moto mechanics highly recommended!
