Volunteered to break to lug nut lock on my tires to plug my tire ... No did a horrible job on my oil change took way to long . I do not recommend using this company ever go back to dealership! This location is in the perfect spot but for another business they should be closed . You need at least 5 to 6 people with this many cars in the bay. U cannot get any work done with 3 people one whom is missing an arm ! Bad for business

Wonderful and accommodating customer service!He gave me a discount for my shocks on my 2015 Toyota Prius, and a really great deal for my front shocks, which were less than $600!!I was so grateful, let alone the fact that I d been approved for their financing plan with EasyPay. Saved me so much time and money, plus their service and labor was so quick that I was in shock myself! Thanks so much, Midas! (:

It s pricey but that s expected for Midas. They sell you autozone parts for triple the price, if not more. I m not mad about the overcharging, I was expecting that, what I didn t expect was the aggressive sales tactics. They tried to lie to me about changing the oil in my car. I had to call corporate and corporate confirmed that the oil was never changed. They also recommended I get my transmission fluid changed, which is weird because I just got it replaced less than two months ago. They recommend services you don t need! I also don t understand why they would lie about changing the oil in my car.

Amazing experience! Would recommend to anyone looking for friendly and honest work. They break down price and labor cost and let you decide if it s something you want to do. Couldn t have asked for better service. Thank you to Erick and the team at Midas! Appreciate you guys

Excellent customer service from all employees, went there for an oil change and change of tires which they recommended (I appreciated). Service was quick and well done. As I waited in the lobby they offered water and they also have a TV for entertainment. Thank you!

Good Morning Midas,Spent 1,200 dollars on new breaks and new rotars. We have been using Midas since we moved to LA, this morning the breaks starting grinding, it s only been 2 years, we rarely use the car, the guy with one arm was outrageously unprofessional, refused to provide any assistance and tried making us drop another $1,200 for new rotars and breaks plus suspension work which this location did before. Bro I am a mechanic That was his response .. We are Midas members and will be immediately ending our card and membership.We also had them fix a tire before and it failed as well within a few days, went to Pep Boys to buy a new tire.The old manager or not sure if he knows this, was wonderful and I don t know what happened to the Midas touch of customer service, but this location was awful and the armless gentleman should be removed asap.Awful experience

Quick and friendly service. Showed up same day with a busted rotor the crew immediately addressed the issue. They gave me $80 off new break pads as well. Continued business with this corporation is recommended for the sake of one vehicle.

Great service, manager welcomed in front of the building, opened the door. Checked the car and provided with vehicle inspection paperwork within 15 minutes. Highly Recommend for everyone.

Latest update at bottom: Been going here for about 3 years. No complaints. Came here for the occasional oil change and tire purchase. This past week has been a nightmare experience. Came in for a check engine light for reduced power to engine and an oil change. My car has 140k miles so I understand the random check engine lights here and there. There were no other issues physically happening with the vehicle other than the check engine light. It ran smooth they charge $500+ for labor and parts to replace an oil pressure valve. I get the car after a couple days, on the drive back home as I m parking the car, the engine dies. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED. I ve had the car to close to ten years and it has never died. I bring it back, they check it out and say there s nothing they can do outside of purchasing a new engine for around $4k-7k .I m in disbelief because my car came out worse than I brought it in. They worked on it for a few days and couldn t resolve an issue that happened immediately after leaving their shop. It s as if you go in for stitches on your arm at the doc, your arm stops working and they go to amputating the whole arm it s ridiculous. Will not be coming back.11/20/2023Took the car to the dealership. They fixed the issue for 1/5th of what they quoted and no need for an engine replacement. Midas on Figueroa street . If you don t know how to do something and messed up just be honest with the customer and suggest they go to an expert.Shame on you the guy I talked on the phone said I worked at (dealership) and they re going to tell you the same thing. Glad I didn t listen

Experience not good . Made an appointment went in the guy told me 45 to and hour . . Left and came back a 45 min later my car was still in the same parking area I parked it . so I went inside to see if they were done and . Nope not even started . I was like what . So you lied to me an said it would be done in one hour but in reality two hours . For an oil change . I don't want to say lazy but what else can I say . Won't be coming back to any Midas at all . And honestly I did not see them lift my car up in the five min I left at all . I think the people just rest the dash with out doing the oil change . Watch out for these dudes at Midas on fig janky individuals . .

From the beginning of the service, everything was quick, thorough, and exceptional. They checked so many things in addition to the oil change, and they alerted me to my tires needing alignment. Very pleasant, friendly staff, and I was in-and-out so quickly. And best of all, they began work on my car precisely at the time my appointment began. Overall, such a clean waiting room, personable staff, and NO PUSHING about recommendations. I ll return here for all my work needing to be done. Highly recommend it!!Service: Oil change

The manager Eric is so nice and very informative. I have had bad experiences when taking my car for service due to not knowing much about cars. When I went to get my brakes fixed Eric explained where my brakes were and why they needed to be changed. The next time I went in was for a check engine light and Eric explained that this is common with Jeeps and what to keep an eye out for. He also walked me through what he did that day. Went on Saturday afternoon because I thought I had overfilled my oil the day before, right when I walked in was asked to wait while Erick wrapped up with a customer. He then assisted me and let me know they had a few cars ahead but that he d be able to squeeze me in. Didn t wait long and he updated me when someone was going to check on my car. Once they knew what the issue was he walked me over to my car to actually show me. He was super nice and helpful will definitely be going back for any issues my car might have.

Valet @ my apartment returned my car to me with a dead car battery. I called Midas, Erik told me to bring it down. They tested the battery for me within a few minutes of arriving. He was transparent and told me my battery was healthy. Would recommend and will be back for their trusted services. Thanks, Erik!

I took my car in for a quick oil change, the gentleman at the front ended up calling me later, saying all 4 of my breaks were bad, and said it would cost me $3000 to get them fixed, not including the oil change, if you know, you know. This place is shady and rips people off if you don t know much about cars, steer clear of it, do not go. Breaks should never cost $3000. Only one of my rear breaks was worn a bit, he didnt even give me measurements for my breaks, and just assumed Id fall for it. You can buy 2 pairs at an autozone for around $40 and pretty simple to put in yourself. Never going here again, and recommend neither you or loved ones go either, they will find a way to get more $$$ out of you to an issue thats not there. They also tried to charge my sister in-law $4000 for the same reason bad breaks Yeah right place is a sham

ERICK is amazing! Background story -My car was previously serviced out of state (Midas), and immediately shipped to LA. After being reunited with my car, I instantly had issues. I took my car to another Midas location and received excellent care. Unfortunately, less than 5hrs went by and my car went bonkers (unrelated to the services performed). I called the previous location in panic and Kelly called Erick and another team member arrived at my destination and took over. Erick did not know me, I never been serviced at his location but he still took the time out to help me when I was I need. Erick found the problem immediately. In that moment I was scared, I didn t know if my car was going to make it, and to be honest, I didn t trust my car. I left my car with Erick on a random street in DTLA and he and another team member took over. Erick s Midas location is truly a neighborhood mechanic shop. My interaction with this location felt like family. Like he knew my father and they went way back LOL. That s a great feeling , to be able to trust a team to provide you with excellent customer service and to do a fantastic job. My car is running great, it s been two days since I ve picked up my car and I haven t had any issues. I am in awe at the service I revived from Kelly and Erick! Forever grateful! I ll definitely return to the Beverly Hills location or the LA location in the future.
