I m warning you to steer clear of this repair shop and the owner, Rodney.I was recommended to go here from my employer because it was near work and we used to recommend our clients go here. I went in for a simple fender bender and it took them nearly 2 months to complete the job. They kept giving bogus excuses as to why my vehicle was not finished.When I finally picked up the vehicle, Rodney informed me that my car is making louder noises then when I dropped it off. Red Flag much?! He blamed it on the wheel wells. I guess he took me for a fool. He said it was because the car was sitting for so long. Which if it was sitting for so long why didn t someone contact me that it was complete? I told him that didn t make sense. I was in the military and have had cars sit for much longer periods than that during deployments.I then decided to take it to my trusted mechanic to look over the vehicle and replace my brakes. They informed me that the noise is coming from my transmission and that it will need to be replaced. Mind you this is a 2018 Toyota with 68k miles on it. Some things are just not adding up. A transmission just doesn t go. We suspect Rodney and his crew switched out my transmission. This was confirmed likely from my mechanic and a Toyota dealership.STEER CLEAR!

I am delighted with the work of Matrix. They do a fantastic job and fast, but I will say Eve and Max made my experience so easy and were extremely helpful in answering all my questions and made me and my family feel so welcome in the office. I will recommend your company just because of the customers they provided us they both need a raise.

Avoid Matrix!I recently took my new car to Matrix following a hit and run to have damage repaired and repainted. My insurance company was charged thousands and after three weeks, I was given my car back and noticed a few days later some discoloration in the paint in the repair location. I took the vehicle back to Matrix, the shop manager looked at it and told me I was right. The work needed to be redone and while not common, repairs sometimes have issues. Told me to drop the car off in a couple days to redo the work. Dropped the car, Matrix called me a few hours later and then said it was new damage and they saw a dent there now. So they would not guaranty the work and I needed to pick up my car.Hard to imagine getting hit in the same place twice in a month with exactly the same damage happening. Love to know the statistics on that being possible vs a body shop doing bad work. Three body shops later - each told me the work was not done. No sign of paining or repair just buff and polish.You will see other complaints here similar and the responses written and noted from Matrix are 100%. Avoid this place like the plague.They charged thousands to my insurance for the repair and I now have to take them to court to get the work actually done.I bet they write a similar response as others that is defensive and reflect how they run a business.

This place is great! Everyone is so friendly, and willing to do whatever they can to ensure the best experience. Max was the best, making sure everything was perfect. Not to mention they got my car done in ~1 week! Back door I get repaired after one month! I only tried to close the door It cracked...***I can not reply on my review. So I am replying here. I don t know how can you be that sure if the door is from hit?? I am not here to waste my time to review your business. I can swear that the dent happened when I close my door! It seems you only applied thin layer based on the damaged surface...-Hi Khloe it clearly looks like the door has been hit and shows a big dent, therefore the paint will crack.-

My experience with Matrix was just amazing. I had a car accident and the front left side of my car including drivers door was damaged. They were able to see me right away when I called them. I was already very nervous about the repair and all the headache that actually comes with an accident BUT from the the first contact with Matrix Collision until the finish line, it was just super smooth. Crystal and Max (I call them The Dream Team) were very professional, helpful and super kind. They welcomed me and guided me through the whole process. My first visit lasted about 10-15min. I was speechless. Honestly, I felt like I parked my car in a VIP lounge and picked it up like brand just about 1 week later. The timeline for the repair was actually 2 weeks but they made it happen much faster. They cleaned the car inside out. I was stunned how clean it was since I have kids and that is always an issue to clean the car.Overall, the communication & process was clear and without a headache. This is how it supposed to be done. I am very happy with my choice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.Services: Tires, Painting, Body & Trim

I have been taking my car here for years, even though I live far away West LA, mainly because their quality and service is always amazing. Their paint and body work is always done perfectly. When I've needed to contact Rodney after getting in an accident he is always helpful and quick to respond. Both him and Max are always professional and friendly when talking to me, and Max does a good job of keeping me updated with frequent phone calls throughout my repair so that I'm always updated on the status of my car. Rodney made sure that my car is repaired perfectly before it is finished so that I am satisfied with the condition I get my car back in. Great work

After experiencing a hit-and-run on my car around 2:10am where my car was parked and I was asleep in my home, I filed a claim with my insurance and the second repair shop was Matrix collision after a different repair shop was overbooked. The repair took a while with consideration that I had a 4 day old lease and I was so unhappy to say the least. the gentleman at the repair shop handling the my repair on my 2022 VW Taos did phenomenal with the amount of pressure he was under. My car drives great and no complaints. Considering covid and other challenges that the auto industry is having right now, I really appreciate his professional approach and to he went above and beyond. I highly recommend Matrix Collision Repair and Max is awesome. Thank you Max.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My car was parked on la Cienega and someone did a hit and run. I towed my car over to matrix and Rodney took real good care of me. He got me a rental car and fixed my car within a week. Amazing service and smooth processThanks!

I got into a car accident in West LA and called mercury insurance to report the accident and get a tow truck to send me to a mercury approved shop they recommended. The other drivers tow truck showed up first and took her to a State Farm shop. Within a few minutes the tow truck driver I thought I called had showed up. However this tow truck driver said he was with State Farm and to take the car to same facility the other car was going to since it was her fault. I had never heard of another drivers insurance sending 2 tow trucks, but I regretfully agreed since I was not thinking straight having just been in an accident. I didn t realize at the time but the auto body shop had sent this tow truck to try and get my car to their shop as well. They prey upon people who are in a emotional state right after an accident to try and get business. While I didn t have any work done on the car since it was totaled, they ended up getting paid storage fees by the insurance company. It didn t cost me any money however the whole thing feels very unethical. I reached out to State Farm and they confirmed they sent 1 tow truck. My tow truck from mercury showed up to no one there. I learned a valuable lesson here and thought it was important to share.

This is the worst repair facility! They stole my silver chain that was in my car. They didn t do a complete job and left indentations and scratches in the car. They are very rude to top it off.
