Markels was GREAT!! They started working on my car, literally within minutes. They redid my entire convertible top in less than 2 days! Dennis was very nice and gave me a great deal!I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs repair on their convertible top!

I needed to fix the convertible roof of my Nissan 350Z.I did research over the internet and found Markel's on the internet.The next day I went to the shop and looked for the owner.Dennis (the owner) immediately approached me and told me to come to his office.I told Dennis the issue and he told me to come back the next day at 9am and leave the car in his shop.I came the next day and left the car in the shop. In about 2 hours he called me back and told me the car was ready. I'm very happy with the result-the roof worked like a charm and the price was reasonable too. Dennis is a top notch, and I recommend his shop to anyone that has issues with a convertible top, redoing a car interior, etc.The thing that impressed m the most when I came to the shop was the fact that people trust Dennis with the antique cars-and if good for them It is also good for me and my 2006 Nissan.Sam S.

After being quoted crazy high prices to fix the convertible top on my Mercedes from several places, I found Markel's. I am soooo glad I did because they fixed my top for 1/3 of the price and the service was excellent and professional. Thank you Dennis for all that you have done for my car. You are really appreciated!

Dennis is the the best! Friendly, communicative, clear, and professional! Same goes for, Allan, his employee.I just bought a used Honda Fit from a dealership, and they'd disguised the fact that it smells of smoke (aired the car before I test drove it, and put some sort of awful, heavy perfume in there). Markel's to the rescue! They steam cleaned the seats and carpets with an orange-based cleaner, and also took them out so they could sit in the sun a while! Dennis advised me to keep the windows open when possible, so the cleaning agent smell will fade, but I can already tell it's a huge improvement. He was communicative and clear throughout the process, explaining what he was doing and why. He also didn't go overboard -- he said if there's still smell left, we can remove the fabric from the ceiling and clean under there, which is a fairly big job, but it may not be necessary.They also installed an awesome butt-warmer for me, with two warmth levels and a color-coded switch installed subtly on the side of the seat. They also added a little padding to level out the seat for optimal comfort, but put it below the warmer so it wouldn't dampen the effect.They finished the same day I dropped off the car, and gave me a nice loaner car so that I could get to work while he had my new Fit! Easy-peasy!I can't recommend Markel's enough.

I have had a variety of work done on different cars by Markel's, including installation of a new convertible top & work done on leather seats (including dyeing). Can't say enough good things about Dennis and his staff. Costs are fair and my needs have always been met (and exceeded).

I have a 2005 350z and needed the convertible top installed . I called several places, most weren't sure about the installAtion. When I called Albert he said no problem, we do that type of car all the time. Albert and his father and gave me incredible service. I drove from San Pedro to have it installed and worth every penny. Thanks again guys !!!

I had given up on being able to have my scratched and torn door panels fixed (window-loving dog!); every upholsterer I tried said it wouldn't match or I'd need a new door and they all wanted to keep the car. Markel's took one look, said "no problem," removed the panels and reinstalled them a few days later looking like new and at a perfectly competitive price.

Great, friendly service! True to their word!I was told by every mechanic I went to that my Volvo 240 DL seat was un-fixable, but not Dennis! He rebuilt my seat and cleaned it up nicely! It's basically brand new! Highly recommend this guy!

Dennis and his crew are incredible! I've owned 2 convertibles and Markel's has repaired top damage on both. They came back looking better than when they were first purchased.

Albert at AT Upholstery really hooked me up with a great install on a Nissan 350z new top. Top notch service and great pricing, next time I need my convertible top serviced I know where to go.
