Simply fantastic. I will go here anytime I have a tire related issue. Both my wife and I had screws in our tires. I brought my car to Pep Boys who stated they would not plug or patch, and even told me to come here. I ended up at Marina Tire where Rick (I think) said he would have it plugged in 40 minutes. I grabbed a coffee at Rockenwagner and by the time I came back my car was done. $30. I drove home, filled up my wife's tire enough to get me the 2 miles to the shop and this time it was maybe 10 minutes to repair. Another $30. I was stressed out with both cars having issues and we had both cars up and running by 10am. There are multiple unwarranted 1-starts reviews on here, even one about the waiting room, which is ridiculous. It's an auto shop. I will continue to bring my vehicles here for tire and alignment fixes.

I recently had my brake pads replaced at Marina Tire & Automotive Service and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable auto repairs and I ll definitely be returning for all my future car needs!

Very precise and honest business practice. I had a alignment issue and they got me great deal and tires and fixed it in no time. Surprisingly in this day and age, there are people places like this who care about customers and not try to rip them off with obscene prices. Top rated business on my list.

I ve been to this auto shop twice now (for regular maintenance and a separate problem) and both times were lovely. They were efficient, kind, and professional, and all of the prices are reasonable. I fully recommend to anyone needing services done, especially if you are a nervous person like myself!

I dropped my car off for two tires installed, when paying the owner told me only $80, that s cheap, no tip? I went to my car, it was parked under a man on a ladder painting the front of the building. I could see some splatter on my car. I asked him if he would fix it, he said no we didn t do that. I said who did? He said I don t know maybe my step mother, do you know her? I left very angry. I had done business here once before and left feeling belittled, but was hoping it was just a bad day for the owner.Nope, he is just low class. Do not go here if you expect the owner to respect you or be responsible for his work.Service: Tires

We were on vacation and a had a flat tire. I pulled into the store without an appointment. They looked at the tire and replaced a faulty valve stem. They took care to make sure that the tire didn't leak. They didn't make me leave the truck and saved me a lot of effort on my vacation. I very much appreciate their high service quality.Service: TiresService: Tires

Put the wrong size tire on my car & overcharged me. Gave me wrong info re: synthetic oil change & said 70% reading meant I only had 30% left which was the opposite. Plus the waiting room is so filthy, I wouldn't even let me dog sit there!!!Services: Tires, Auto tire replacement, Oil changeServices: Tires, Auto tire replacement, Oil change

Took my car in to these people to have some work done, for whatever reason they couldn't have gotten it done. Some noises which I've never heard before started coming from the area that they checked out.So I called to let them know that, and was told to bring in the vehicle. Upon dropping off the vehicle I realized the a nut/ bolt for the wheel was missing which means that my safety was compromised (just coming the freeway).Didn't make a fuss about it since I was convinced that there were other stuff which needed to be fixed or tightened in the wheel. So I left the car with them again and then went back to pick up my car, this dude (in charge) is telling me everything is nice and tight and ready go however he's still hearing the noise, so I'm trying to explain to him that there were no noises coming from that area before I brought in the vehicle. He immediately tried shutting me off with a condescending attitude not even apologetic of the fact that a bolt or bolts were not properly fastened. Here you have it, you decide if that's the kinda place or people you wanna do business with.

I like them better than a big chain. They installed 4 tires plus alignment in less than 1.5 hours and the new tires made a big difference. The price was reasonable and they offer free rotations every 6 months.

This review is for the automotive services as I did not buy any tires or get any sort of tire related work done.I came here with a coupon in hand, $17 oil change * +$1 per quart for synthetics* yet I was told it would be +$60. To top it off , they informed me that my oil plug was seized and that they had tried to get it out but were unable too. Their recommendation, new oil pan installation for $500. Took it to a different garage and they had the thing off in half an hour. This place is a scam they just want your money.

I have been going to Marina Tire & Auto for 3 years. Once for tire patch and also purchased 2 rear tires. Then in 2017 had spark plugs changed. In 2018 had the oil pan gasket, and switch replaced. My experience has always been very good. Honest and competent mechanics who work hard and provide excellent auto repair service. I always feel safe when I leave their shop, knowing that they are dedicated to their craft and the safety and well being of their customers. Oh, and did I mention the repair service area is always neat, clean and very well organized.

Wolf in sheep s clothing.. $4k down the hole but would have been worse if guilt-ridden worker didn t tell ultimately tell us it was a waste trying fo salvage old car. Also, they were underpaying (and understaffing) young mechanics who couldn t afford lunch (not that they got breaks we literally informed mechanic of labor laws in front of owners).

I had some tires swapped from another set of wheels laying around. Service on tires was ok, however they left greasy hand marks all over my car. Then put my hub centric rings on all jacked up breaking the rings and cracking them. I had my car put back on lift had to go back there and show them. Had my rims balanced a week before they took weights off put on old used ones. Also still charged me full price after the fact i had to remove my wheels put hub centric rings in front of them. Used air gun on lug nuts dont even torque wheels to spec. Overall idiots!!! I would never recommend them to anyone ever pr have service done ever again. Got home checked my tire pressure all tires were way over filled. Thought this was a tire shop not a clown show.Service: Tires

I've gone to this business in the past for quick, inexpensive tire repairs. However, I went today for a flat tire and instead of getting prompt service I got a political rant about the owner's feelings about the current POTUS and the situation in Afghanistan. (I didn't ask by the way!) Listen, I got limited time and patience, I am not going to spend my money at a small business whose owner would rather spew politics than tell me how he can fix my flat tire. He should save that for Facebook or family gatherings, cause this customer is not interested. Sad and taking my business elsewhere. Side note, I need to replace the tire and his business just missed out on a $400 sale.I dont care what side of the political spectrum someone is on, when you run a small business, maybe worry more about the customer's needs and time constraints.Service: Tires

I have been going here for years and I can truly say that I trust their advice. You will get your car needs taken care of here. Unlike other places, don't expect to pull up in the middle of the day and get your car serviced. It's a great place and they will complete the job in a timely manner - the early bird gets priority. First time here? Ask for Rick, he is corteous, honest, and will treat you like family!

Rick is awesome! He fixed several major issues in my car at a very reasonable price. I also like how Rick explains everything and tells me when things need fixing. Today I came in because my car was making noise when driving. He fixed it free of charge as it was a small fix. I will definitely keep coming back here to take care of my aging Lexus <3

Let me say that this used to be the only place I would take my car, but in the last year it's gone downhill quickly. First, I took it in there December 2011 because my headlights wouldn't turn off. They said it was the headlight switch, replaced it, and the lights still wouldn't turn off. Next, they said there was a short. They fixed that and it solved the problem... for 2 weeks. I brought it back there, they had it for 2 days and said they couldn't find what was wrong with it. I came home, googled the problem and found out exactly what it was in 15 minutes. I fixed it myself in my driveway. I went there for an oil change a little after that and it seemed fine. When my brakes were squeaking, I decided to chance it and took my car back there to get the brake pads replaced. They told me I didn't need to replace the pads, but my shocks were gone and needed to be replaced. I replaced them and 2 weeks later, I get a Brake Fluid warning light on my dash. I take it to another mechanic. That mechanic tells me I have air in my brake lines and they need to be bled. I told him the shocks were replaced, he said it must have happened when I had them replaced. Today, I decide I'm not taking it back to Marina Tire and I'm going to change my own oil. The filter is screwed on so tight, I have to put a pipe on the end of the wrench to get it out. Once I get it out, what do I find? It was screwed so tightly, the filter was twisted in a spiral (I think the term is impacted, but I'm not sure). I don't know WHAT happened to Marina Tire, but it's obvious they don't care about their service or even fixing things anymore. Sad to see such a great place go so far downhill so quickly.

I needed a tire patched and they quickly and efficiently took care of it for 20 bucks. Less awesome, however, was that it started leaking again a week or two later and when I went to the local tire shop they said the repair was a "non approved" repair where they had basically put a piece of rope covered in tar in the hole instead of used a real patch plug. They won't touch the tire so now I have to get a new one. I wish Marina Tire would have done the job properly the first time. I'm not going back there.

Both their website and Google say they open @ 8AM. Waited over half hour after opening but no one showed up for work. Guess they don't care about keeping normal business hours. 3 people left and went to Midas across the street because they opened on time.

Called to see if they do free nail tire repair like my other repair shop as they are closer to my place.. they said yes. I make the drive and tell me it s $20 after they quickly plugged my tire. They didn t even give me a correct tire patch job. Thanks Marina Tire for the $20 temporary tire plug job.

Off and on I have taken my old battered F150 to have problems fixed. First occasion was concerned about some error codes. Shop checked the truck, for free, found nothing and sent me home.Second experience was I dropped off the truck to have them charge the AC which had not worked for a decade. For $100 they replaced some fittings, charged it twice and sent me on my way.Third experience was to change the water pump. Thought of changing it out myself, but had them do it instead for the fair tune of $300 or so.Next I'll have them check out the transmission-getting a little slippery after 210000 miles.I've found them to be fair in pricing and the service is good.

This place sucks, I needed to have a tire mounted that I already repaired myself and they told me I'd have to wait at least an hour before they could help me. I agreed to wait then seen another car pull up that needed to purchase a tire and they helped him right away. I guess I wasn't as important because I wasn't buying anything from them.. poor customer service.. no sense of community for this small business. Drove 1 block up to Midas and was helped right away. Outta there in 10 min. Thanks Midas!!!

I had a flat driving from Lake Arrowhead to LA. I have "run on flat" tires. I was told that the tire couldn't be fixed and I needed a new front tire. They didn't have any run on flats to fit my 2013 Mini. I said I would buy a tire (had no choice it seemed) It was Christmas eve. He talked me into two front tires. I said OK. Went to eat breakfast - came back and he was replacing all four of my tires. I told him I only wanted the front two replaced. He acted like I was crazy. Then he said he would put the two back tires back on (they were in good shape and expensive tires.). When I got back to where I was staying I noticed that he only put one of the back tires back on and the older tire from the front. Now he has a nice "run on flat" tire to sell to someone!! Totally ripped off on Christmas. I am a 73 year old woman and he saw me coming!! I have "run on flat" tires as I have to drive to LA every three weeks for cancer treatments and can't take a chance getting a flat. So $300 only to get back home and still have to buy new tires.

My wife and I been using Marina Tire & Auto for DECADES and NOT once have they ever tried to sell us repairs or parts that weren t needed. They do outstanding work for a reasonable price. Marina Tire & Auto is what all repair shops should be. If I could I d rate them at 50 stars and it might still not be enough for the excellent service they provide.

Good service, good prices. I was in town for a week and had a problem with my AC. Dropped off my car and was a little nervous about whether they'd try to fleece me. All turned out well. They found an electrical problem and ended up getting it fixed reasonably quickly and for not a bunch of money.

I started going to Marina Tire a few years ago with the basic services- checkup, oil change, etc. I trusted them until I was in a car accident and brought the car here. They ruined my entire car. The head gasket was cracked so they placed some type of glue on it that ruined everything including it leeching into other parts of my car where the car would overheat and I can now only put one type of gas in it. I do not recommend this place if you have to have anything beyond the normal oil change.
