Rober the owner is pretty at front and his work is upstanding. Pretty reasonable on his prices and work time. He fixed motorcycle, scooters, diesel pretty much anything. Also, Ducati owners if you loose your keys, he will make it replaced even without the red Master key and will program the computer.

This place is conveniently next to a DMV, you can come here get your car smog and walk to DMV. If your car doesn t pass the smog, they can easily help you with the necessary repairs. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable with Excellent customer service!!! They take pride in their work, they are fast, and always willing to advise you on future repairs. They do more than just smogs, they can help you out with oil changes and other car repairs! They don t make a fuss about you bringing your own oil(buy mine @costco) and you only pay $30 for your oil Change. I love this place-All my auto service needs will be brought back to L.A. Smog Center!

Quick, friendly, professional except I had to wait for technician who was more than 35 minutes late. If you know it takes 2 hrs. or 2 mins. to get to work, than plan. He wouldn't have the same level of compassion for me if I drove up 35-40 minutes for an appointment made a week earlier. My time has value too. The address on the Groupon is wrong. It says 1500 S. Grand and they are actually in the 1600 block of Los Angeles. After driving around a couple of times I called and got the correct address. They really need a front office person. My concerns have absolutely nothing to do with their quality of smog testing, because I was happy with their work. I would probably use them again.

I have been going here for years! Great service, never over charged. Roberto the owner is very honest and tells me when I don't really need new breaks or if something really doesn't need to be repaired. I even took a car to him to inspect before buying it. He pointed out the tiniest flaws and made sure the other guy heard it. It really helped me negotiate the price! Thanks Roberto! For the ladies out there looking for an honest mechanic, this is your guy. I live in Valencia and drive all the way to LA just so I have a piece of mind that the job is done right and I don't get taken advantage of and over charged.Roberto, thanks for your honesty!

I would highly recommend this establishment. They were very friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure my car and I were well taken care of. Whatever you do, please do not get your smog test done here.I am from out of state and when I went to get my smog test, I didn't realize that a check engine light automatically means a failed smog test. However, the mechanic obviously knew this was true, yet he continued to run the test anyway. Of course, it failed, and he proceeded to charge $47.75 for less than 5 minutes of "work".Also, a big sign on the outside of the building says "Special: $37.75 Smog Test!", but he still charged me $47.75. I called him out about it and he claimed that the sign wasn't his, even though it had his company name below it, the sign was on his building, and he was the only smog tester nearby. Even though the $10 difference is not a lot of money, it was the principle that he would not pay me back the difference that really set me off.Either way, please do not waste your time or money with this shop, there are plenty of better options in the area.

Don t go here. This place stole the SIM card for my vehicle s navigation during the smog check. The tech was rude and super sketchy - now I have to pay 450$ for a new SIM cardService: Smog certificationService: Smog certification
