My experience purchasing a vehicle at Kia of downtown LA was AMAZING! Our salesman Eli Hernandez was awesome, he was very polite and explained and answered all of our questions. Purchasing process was super fast and easy. They really made us feel like family. Eli and Andy went above and beyond to help us purchase the SUV my family needed. This was the best service we have ever had purchasing a vehicle, we definitely recommend choosing kia of DTLA to purchase your next car.

I had a great experience with my purchase at Kia Downtown. Pablo was a very insightful salesman and I was happy to get the car I wanted. Terms of loan were changed without notification because of purchase date change.Got good price anyways.Nice people.Had to wait for another car to be brought late at night due to change is loan terms. They were not able to complete the detailing because the detailer had to leave.Purchase process took longer than expected.I am enjoying my new Kia Forte GT manual transmission.

Vehicle was damaged during service, which is fine, accidents happen and Kia took responsibility. However, after Kia took the car to be fixed there was 4 weeks of silence. Nobody at the service center answered my calls and I left several unanswered voicemails during this process. The only correspondence I had was being called and asked to return my rental car when my vehicle was not ready. Eventually I had to let them know my car was back at the service center after calling the body shop who told me this.When I returned to pick up my car the gas tank was empty, which it wasn't when I delivered the vehicle. Mileage had not changed, so unclear how the tank had emptied. Suspicious.Would not recommend this dealer. Use another in the LA area, there are plenty.

I was extremely impressed on how quickly and efficiently my deal was handled. I have been in RV Sales for many years and needed to lease a car for my daughter who lives in CA (I live in PA) When I 1st reached out to Damian he informed me they did not have what my daughter was looking for in stock but would call when they got one in. I explained to Damian that I was looking for a very straight forward deal gave him the numbers I needed to be at to make a deal happen. In the meantime, I started working another deal w another location that had a car in stock but unfortunately, they told me the manager of that dealership as off for the next few days and nothing could be done until he returned. I even mentioned giving a deposit but was told if the car was still available in 2 days, we could talk about it then. I have to admit I was shocked! In all of my years I have never told a customer they would have to wait to make a purchase. I also had another dealership tell me they they had the car we were looking for and could get me to the numbers I was looking for, but they could not process my paperwork electronically even thou 4 other Kia dealers said they could. In the meantime, Damian called to say the car my daughter was looking for just arrived on the truck. We worked the deal and completed the paperwork, and they had the car ready by the end of the same day. They even sent an Uber to pick up my daughter from work since she didn't have a ride. I am not sure how old Damian is, but he sounded like a young man and I was pleasantly surprised by his attention to detail, professionalism, and the due diligence he had shown me... I have been in Sales for a long time, and I was impressed with him. If your considering purchasing/leasing a car do yourself a favor and ask to speak with Damian. I have a feeling this young man has a bright future ahead of himself.

We worked with Damion to select and putchase our new car. He was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We would absolutely work with him again.We worked with Alex in Finance to sevure the loan. Alex also went out of his way to make sure we understood our options, the financial lingo, and terms of the loan.Overall an excellent experience and we would work with both individuals and Kia of Downtown LA again.

This location makes me feel like I'm loosing my mind. I've been having issues with my 2023 kia telluride (Brand New) but when I drop it off they can never find the issue. It's so frustrating. My fuel sensor is saying empty but I have over a hundred miles. I just took it back due to my tire sensor being on come to find out there was no leeks,nail or anything wrong with my tire.

Best experience I have had in a long time at this dealership. Though I did not stick around waiting for the car, Alli Levy was the best! He kept in contact about the status of my car and it was ready earlier than expected. Definitely need more people like Alli Levy!

I visited Kia Downtown to address a recall issue with my Kia Carnival. While my car was being serviced, I inquired about available Kia Carnival models, as I m considering purchasing one for my transportation company. However, the salesperson at the dealership pressured me excessively to finalize the deal immediately, despite my disclosure that I own a dealership and am familiar with the sales process. While I appreciate that salespeople earn commissions for sales, pushing clients too hard may drive them to seek a more comfortable purchasing experience elsewhere.

I am a happy man today. I took my EV6 in for a tire pressure issue. I made an appointment and Arturo Rios stepped up to help me. Great attitude- Great smile and remembered me from a previous scheduled visit 6 months ago. Impressive. I was in a hurry to get to work and Arturo said he would take care of my vehicle. Arturo communicated throughout the service and a couple of hours later called me to inform me that my car was ready for pick up. When I walked in to pick up my vehicle, again Arturo with a smile handed me my pick up papers and wished me a great day. What service... Thank you Arturo!!! Your commitment to customer satisfaction was noticed.

I dropped off my car on 2/2/24, my car was in excellent cosmetic condition. The car associate/advisor by the name of Desiree did not do a walkthrough of the exterior of my car. So, if there were any concerning blemishes on my car prior to dropping it off, I wouldn't know. When I was at the counter, she only asked me about what concerns I had with my car followed by maintenance packages they offer. She did not ask for any prior service history or if I had any extended warranty. She just implied that if the manufacturer warranty didn't cover the issues, I would need to pay for the diagnosis. The following day I was given a report of services that are recommended to me to potentially improve my cars performance. I was told that if I accepted certain services, I would receive a discount. So, I accepted an oil change and sludge prevention service. Upon further investigation I found out that I have an extended warranty with Kia when I purchased my car. I forwarded this information to Desiree and she responded by saying that she could not see any warranties on my account because I did not purchase my vehicle at their dealership. If her statement is true, I wasn't aware of that. I naturally assume that regardless of where my car was purchased, Kia would have access to my information. Moving forward, Desiree did not follow up with me until 2/5/24. She informed me that my warranty would only cover a new battery. I felt that was odd, so I read my warranty's terms of service. I noticed that it covered a whole lot more than what she claimed. I forward this to Desiree and she did not respond to me until 2/8/24. Now she replied that my warranty will not cover my diagnosis fee. I responded by telling her that in the warranties terms of service it does also cover diagnoses fees based on the services I'm receiving. I did not hear back from her until late Friday 2/9/24 afternoon telling me that will call me. I never received her call, so before the service department closed, I called Kia and asked for an update. They told me that my car was ready for pickup and that my invoice is ready to be paid. So, I took a Lyft to the dealership and got there around 4:40ish. I was waiting at Desiree's counter for almost 20 mins, so I sent her a message informing her that I was at the service center ready to pick up my car. She responds by saying that she is gone for the day and to see a different advisor. The communication I had with her was absolutely awful. The worst part about waiting there is that the other advisors saw me standing around but did not bother to approach me to ask if I needed any assistance. So I finally get my paperwork, I give it to the guy at the podium. He then drives up in my car and parks it in the middle of the street and then hands over the key to me and walks away. They once again failed to do a walkaround with my car before I drove off with it. I'm exhausted from this ordeal, so I got in my car, and I drove home. The next morning as I was walking up to my car, I noticed this dent on the trunk of my car. I know for a fact that my car did not have this dent when I dropped it off at DTLA kia. I have surveillance footage of the night I came home after picking up my car from DTLA kia from my garage and the dent is there. This dent happened under the neglected care of kia of Downtown LA. I have been trying to get in contact with a supervisor or manager from the service department and I am met with, " He works every other Saturday '' or " He just left for the day, please call tomorrow.". I have already sent photos of the dent to Kia and they haven t responded back to me. This is unacceptable and very unprofessional. DTLA kia needs to take responsibility for the damages that their staff have caused.I ve had maintenance done at Kia of Van Nuys and Kia from Glendale and they have been wonderful. Their customer service is a complete 180 compared to DTLA kia. The only reason why I came to DTLA kia is because it was closer to my job. A decision I truly regret.

The sales team seemed put out to show me the only 2 models I was interested in. Don t try to negotiate with them on anything. The sales manager tried to get me to trade in my car at a loss when CarMax and Carvana, who both lowball via convenience, offered me about $4K more each. Waste of time, effort, and a hard inquiry on my credit report.

I applied for financing for a specific rate and when I spoke to the dealer they said I was approved. But they gave me a completely different apr when it came to signing it. They didn't have to lie to me, but they made the choice to, so I made the choice to go with a different dealer.

This Kia can't even handle a simple phone call. We need some information from the parts department and kept getting sent to voicemail after being on hold for what I imagine is the maximum time for the hold feature, SEVERAL times. Finally when the parts person answered they were super short and just stated that the price online was much different than the in-store price, but he didn't even tell us what the price difference was nor if the part was even available. Extremely rude and unhelpful.

Wow, the service department is absolutely dismal. 1 hour waiting in line, trying to up charge me for hoses and sensors that didn t need to be replaced, saying they did a multi inspection when they didn t, building that looks like it s falling apart, my recommended service bill $1,800. Took it to Firestone and they fixed everything for $360. Why would anyone buy a new car from this dealership. I bought my car when it was called Sage. Remember people, buying your car is one or two days, servicing your car is multiple visits. Wait for a generic response saying sorry for the inconvenience we will try better do not trust this dealership!

I didn't liked the service you provided.I was bring my car 3 times with 1 issue, here is the story:My car has a problem with electricity and when I power off after some hours I can't turn it on.1st visit: They did battery check, they said everything is all right. The same day I had the same problem, I called them they said bring the car we will do diagnostics.2nd visit: I came they said that they will do diagnostics and the service desk employee said that my guarantee ends after 60k miles (my car at that time was ~59.800), I left the car there after 1-2 days they called me and said that they did diagnostics, they fixed something and now everything is all right. I took the car and the same day again I couldn't turn on the engine to drive.3th visit: I came again and said that again the same problem, could you please again do diagnostics and fix the problem, this time the girl in front desk said that diagnostics will cost ~$240 as my milage is over 60K, I said that the last time you again did diagnostics and said that everything and said that you've fixed something, she said that in the system mentioned that 2 times they did only battery check.!THEY LAID ME AND SAID THAT THEY DID DIAGNOSTICS, BUT THEY DID ONLY BATTERY CHECK AND I LEFT THE CAR ONCE 1-2 DAYS THERE, DROVE THERE 3 TIMES, AND OVERALL WAITH THERE MORE THAN 8 HOURS.I'M GONNA SUE YOU FOR LAYING ME!

Came in with the intention of leaving with a car at the advertised lease price on Kia's website, only to find out this dealership is not honoring that discount and charging twice the deposit ($8000 instead of $3500) and twice the monthly rate ($580 instead of $300). Even with the fees their rate was much higher. Highly recommend shopping at other Kia dealers as I was able to get the proper advertised lease rate on my first call elsewhere.

Took my car to get serviced for a recall at dtla kia. Have been here a couple of times before with bad service but this time Mike Avenesian really took care of me. He was so efficient and had my car ready in a timely manner. He really changed my mind and will definitely come back here for my all my car needs.

My family drove 6 hours to get here. The manager at this location did not honor the deal decided on previously, and wanted to scam us with additional charges. He is completely unprofessional: pointed fingers in our faces and yelled at us. Extremely rude. I was looking forward to this Kia deal, and the customer service here was so disgustingly rude that I will never come back. I would not recommend doing business here.

Extremely thankful I was referred to this location. As looking for a new car can be very overwhelming and intimidating, Russ, Josh, and Yessie at KIA DT LA made my experience a breeze. Their happy humor is contagious and enjoyed their company. They all took their time to get to know me, and made me feel welcomed. This dealership did NOT once make me feel pressured into buying something I don t want. They reviewed and made sure everything I was purchasing was approved by me. I want to share my experience to buy Kia K5. I don t remember the name of seller, young man with a black hair. So when come I told to him what Im looking for. I expected to get my car from Kia Bank because they offer the best interest rate for their cars, I told him that I know the monthly price for exact car I want and Im looking for 60 month financing. I also told him that I DONT NEED MORE than one hard inquiry in my credit history. But he anyway tried to find his own profit from this deal. He brought to me first offer FOR 72 MONTH and monthly payment for 530$ and 6,9% interest from Capital One Bank. HE LIED to me that this such a bad offer because of precent and my credit history is not enough (lie again a have a good credit history). But Im not stupid, I can calculate loans, I see that he just applied wrong numbers for loan, added his own interest in this car. So after we got 2 others offers, when I saw how he removed part of his interest and only because of my husband I agreed with last offer for Kia Bank finally, 5.75% and still 66 month with 10000$ downpayment we bring there. Ive seen in the contract his interest still was there. I just told him I dont want to play these stupid games, but I got 39815$ with taxes and all things he added in the contract for car which selling on the website with all applied features for it 30550$, even they put some stupid things like LoJack for 1200$ and scratches protection for the handles for 600$, all dmv fees is getting around 10,5% above and still ~36000$. So he made around 3000$ and I have 3 hard inquiries at the end, 4 hours spending on it. So car is good, but that experience is bad. Next time Im gonna apply only from website.
