A Nightmare Experience at Johnny's Auto Body ReviewI'm writing this review to warn others about my horrendous experience at Johnny's Auto Body. My visit, which started with hopes for a quality repair, turned into an absolute nightmare.The Catastrophic Repair JobI brought in my car for what I thought was a minor issue: a malfunctioning door. However, the situation escalated dramatically under their care. Not only did they fail to fix the original problem, but they also managed to cause significant engine damage. My car, which was running smoothly before, left the shop with a rattling noise and a noticeable drop in performance.Severe Lack of Accountability JRWhen confronted with the additional damage, the staff at Johnny's Auto Body were anything but professional. They denied any wrongdoing, shifting blame and refusing to take responsibility. Their attitude was dismissive, and they showed a complete lack of empathy for the situation they had caused.Safety Concerns and Additional CostsThe damage to my car was not just cosmetic; it raised serious safety concerns. I had to take my vehicle to another mechanic, who was appalled by the extent of the damage. This resulted in significant additional costs, not to mention the stress and inconvenience.A Warning to OthersI urge anyone considering Johnny's Auto Body for their vehicle repairs to think twice. Their negligence and unprofessionalism have cost me dearly, both financially and emotionally. This experience has been a stark reminder that choosing the right repair shop is crucial, and unfortunately, Johnny's Auto Body is not it.

I used to go to this place exclusively because they were friendly, helpful and honest. However, something must have changed because I went here for a simple fix and the guy acted like I was bothering him and was incredibly rude. Then he just slaps me with an estimate for over $3,000 for things I made very clear I didn t want at the time and that I just wanted a dent on my door pulled out for the meantime. He wouldn t explain anything because it seemed like he didn t have the time.Definitely not going out of my way to go here any more

After seeing their appealing advertisements, I decided to give them a try, but I deeply regret my decision.My Encounter with Shoddy WorkmanshipI brought in my car, a well-maintained sedan, for a simple scratch repair. What I expected to be a straightforward fix turned into a nightmare. The scratch was 'repaired,' but the paint used was of a different shade, leaving my car with an unsightly, uneven look.While at the shop, I met Sarah, a teacher, who had a similar story. She required a paint touch-up for her vintage Beetle. Unfortunately, the end result was a patchy, mismatched disaster, ruining the classic look of her cherished vehicle. On top of that she hadn't had her vehicle for a whole week and Cesar let her know that her car was sitting in the paint department and they would get done on it later today.Another guy Mike brought his SUV in to fix a dent. Initially, it seemed fine, but within weeks he said , the paint began to peel, revealing rust underneath. His frustration was palpable as he showed me the poor-quality work from Johnny auto body.Then there was Emily, a college student. This past thurday morning she needed a bumper replacement but ended up with a loosely fitted one that fell off while driving. This not only damaged her car further but also posed a serious safety risk.A Warning to Potential CustomersFrom mismatched paint jobs to unsafe repairs, Johnny's Auto Body has been a source of frustration and disappointment. I urge potential customers to consider other options for their car repair needs. This experience has been a lesson in the importance of quality workmanship and customer service, both of which were sorely lacking at Johnny's Auto Body.

Terrible Experience: Delayed Repairs and Poor WorkmanshipI had my vehicle towed here and what followed was an agonizing 2.5-month ordeal. Despite being verified by Progressive Insurance for a simple repaint, my car sat in the paint department for over a month with no progress.Communication was a nightmare. There were multiple instances of misinformation and a complete lack of effort on their part. When I finally received my vehicle, it was in a worse state than before: the right blinker wasn't working, my emergency brake was broken, and the electronic system was acting up, triggering random alarm sounds.When I raised these concerns, I was told they conduct a "safety check," yet they somehow missed a malfunctioning emergency brake a critical safety feature.The icing on the cake? After all this, I returned to the shop in person, was initially told I could leave my vehicle for further repairs, and then was turned away.I would strongly caution anyone against using this shop. This has been an incredibly frustrating and costly experience for me, one that nobody should have to go through.

I'm sitting in the lobby getting my car inspected and from the moment I pulled in I was greeted with a smile and turned over to the man doing the inspection with a genuine chipper demeanor as well. I was offered coffee and brittle as I sat in the office and every single person I spoke to was friendly with a smile. I don't think I've ever experienced this quality of customer service anywhere, much less in an auto body shop. I would absolutely come back here in the future and strongly recommend them if you want the stressful experience of car repairs to be as stress free as it's going to get. Even when I drove up a couple weeks ago before my appointment just to get familiar with the shop and see if I wanted to complete my insurance claim here, Johnnie was so friendly towards me whether I was a customer or not. Most people wouldn't be so patient with someone who is shopping around. I just wanted to be sure I was comfortable wherever I went because of the reputations in this industry and they couldn't have made me feel more relaxed. Normally I'd be staring at every little thing happening to my car but instead I'm writing this because I trust them. Fast and friendly service, you can't beat it!

These guys are great. Great communication. Very upfront about the required repairs. The workmanship on my car is incredible. And my car was ready days earlier than estimated!! Will definitely use them again if the need arises.

Came in on Christmas Eve to have some serious scratches buffed out. Other auto body shops wouldn t see me till after the holidays. Bob and his guys were so friendly took them less than 10 minutes and my car looks amazing. Incredible customer service. I d recommend these guys to anyone.

Johnnie and his team are incredible! I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to have my car serviced at the shop, but through a chain of unfortunate events that ultimately led my car to be deemed a total loss, they really took care of me. They assisted me in a timely fashion, kept me informed with my claim and handled the situation with complete empathy and professionalism. They are an establishment I can trust and find to be authentically genuine. If I need any auto body work in the future, I'm definitely going to give my business to them. Thank you for caring for your customers! And BIG shout out to Amad (sp?) my Progressive Representative on site, I know it was a joint effort!

Not a good place, I came to get an estimate for some minor front end damage, their lot is packed and I had to park in the alley behind the shop. They don't have any signs or easy way for a customer to get to the office (if they even have one). Finally someone from the shop comes out and tells me he is busy with a current estimate, I told I could wait and that wouldn't be a problem. He quickly glanced at the left side of my vehicle without even taking a walk around and asked if the damage was a small dent that actually wasn't what I came in for, I told him no the damage I need an estimate for is on the other side of the car. He then proceeded to tell me that the whole car would need to be repainted and that they would't be able to blend the color. What!! You haven't even looked at the damage I have came in for! None of the four other body shops I had visited that day told me anything even remotely close to that AND I didn't come for a repaint, I just came to fix some minor damage (a bent fender and broken headlight). He then asked me what insurance I had and that the insurance companies come up with their "own" estimates. This exchange lasted no more than two minutes and he didn't take down any of my information or lead me to the office. At this point he looked rushed and told me he would be back, So I waited, and waited and waited in the baking sun in the alley behind the shop. After waiting close to 20 minutes, even the workers in the shop looked at me and wondered why I was still there. I had it, I had gone to four other shops that day to get estimates. Johnnie's was by far the most unprofessional, uncaring shop of all. Every other shop that I went to actually took a very good look at the damage and walked me through what would be needed and a breakdown of the charges. This shop jumped overboard with total car repaint before even looking at over half of the car and was not receptive of my needs. I think that the guy working there didn't care because I wasn't an insurance customer and I had a slightly older car (2003). Good luck if you go there, that is if you can even get to an estimate with them.

I was shopping for a descent place to have some things re-painted, and fixed up, on my RX-7 and every place I went to looked at my car, and told me that'll be $XXXX.00. Johnnie's on the other hand, looked at all the pieces that needed fixing, and what could stay since it wasn't seen, and gave me a detailed estimate with costs for everything. That convinced me to go with them, the honesty and transparency. What I didn't expect is the A+++ quality work they performed, my car came back to me in what I would call better than new condition. What great service, and better workmanship. These guys really know what they're doing. And I've been back with my wife's car, and recommended them to neighbors and co-workers, who have all been very happy.

JR and his company prove excellent customer service and did a great job on the back bumper of my Honda Accord. He provided a ride for me back and forth from my home, too. I really appreciate what he did for me and my car.

Just got my car back from this shop and i can't say enough good things about it. Car was like new and staff was friendly and professional. Would HIGHLY recommend this to anybody in the area who needs some body work.Keep up the good work guys.

This body shop is one of the best in the west, I taken my car there about 5 times, not for major accidents but for minor dings and scratches windshield replacement, and they always go above and beyond great service and very competitive prices.Thank you so much
