Needed windshield wipers when it rained last week. Service was excellent did the job in less than 5 mins in and out. I always service my cars here. Ac service brakes tune ups tires very local and friendly

After a very random and freak tire blowout at 2:30am on New Year s Day, I was not looking forward to having to get my tire replaced. In the past, I ve found dealing with many auto repair shops stressful. Especially after having a few different incidents of being taken advantage of.However, when I saw the overwhelmingly positive reviews on both Google and Yelp for Hovson, I decided to try them first before going some place like Pep Boys or Costco. And I m so so so glad I did.I drove in at around 10am, and Vic was so kind, helpful, and clear about the service and pricing. He ordered the exact tire I needed to match my other ones and had it delivered within a few hours, so I could go home and work before coming back. When I came back, it took all of 20 minutes for him and his team to replace the new tire, put my spare back in the trunk, check and fill up all 4 tires, and check and reset my indicator lights. He charged me barely anything for labor and refused to allow me to add a tip for their courteous service and wonderful professionalism.I highly recommend anyone in the Silver Lake area who needs repair services to come to Hovson. This was one of the most pleasant and stress-free car experiences I ve ever had, and I ll definitely bring my business to them again.

I had a truly spectacular experience with Hovson Tires today. I had a flat and reached out to see if they had the appropriate replacement, which they checked on for me before I arrived. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted at the door and they brought my car in for service right away. I was sure I needed a new tire, but the staff popped the wheel off, gave it a thorough inspection, and determined it was just had a small puncture and a patch would do just fine. No upsell, no hard sell, no sell at all. Just honest people doing their best to provide quick, efficient, and necessary service. The owner is incredibly kind and friendly and the technicians are amiable and knowledgeable. All told, 10 minutes and $25 dollars later I was heading out the door with my tire repaired and new place to put at the top of my list to recommend to family and friends.

I went in without an appointment, because I thought my tire was flat and these guys were the nicest. They checked out the tire, it was just very low. They filled the tires for free. I felt stupid but they were so kind and didn t make me feel bad at all and were glad I came in to check. Definitely coming back here when I do need tires worked on!

Had what appeared to be a nail in each of the front tires but wasnt certain they were leaking. After visiting a local tire shop that wanted to charge me $35 each tire to repair right off the bat after glancing my car's MB logo, I visited Hovson based on the reviews here. They pulled out one tiny screw and one tiny nail, and tested/confirmed they both didn't penetrate and that I didn't need any repair! Their honesty is as what was reported in these reviews and was refreshing and I insisted and gladly paid for their time. Would definitely bring my MB back here for service, especially since the mechanic also owns an MB!

Excellent service from this place. He sent me photos and even FaceTimed me to show me what was going wrong with my car. I googled all the things that he was going to do and saw that the cost was completely reasonable. The repairs were done and the car works, and no one else besides him could figure it out. It was actually pretty simple, just a faulty ball bearing, but he made it simple and replaced it day of

I don t often write reviews but these guys are PHENOMENAL. Needed a tire repaired, rolled up, and before I could even say anything the mechanic saw the flat and got to work. In and out in less than 15 minutes. Will be going to them for all my tire needs from now on!

Vic and Garo were both amazing! Stop tier customer service everytime i visit their Auto Center. Took my car to two very well known tire shops and they misdiagnosed each time until i went to hovson! My tire was taken care of in under 30 minutes at a very affordable price. 10/10 would recommend to all my family and friends.

We got a screw in our tire and wanted it checked out. They instantly came out... assessed if it was wise to pull it out and made sure there was no leak after pulling it. They even assisted in guiding us out onto the main street. Total visit was 5 minutes. Seemed like very honest and kind crew!

Got my tire patched here. The mechanic got right to it, found the nail, showed me, patched it, and showed me the length of the nail after pulling it out. Tire back on. Badda bing, badda boom. Topped up all the tires with air.I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. Amazing service and kind folks.What s more, it was half the price of the nation-wide company without the family care. I ll happily be a repeat customer!

The customer service I received today was exceptional! I went to this great shop due to a problem with my run-flat tire. Vic showed me the issue, provided me with the best options, and fixed the issue. The service was efficient and cost effective. I definitely recommend them!

I got a flat tire and brought it to Hovson to see if it could be fixed. The tire had a rip and could not be fixed (they directly showed me the issue), but Hovson gave me a great quote on a new tire and installation. They were honest about pricing and did not try to rip me off. They were so quick to help and installed my new tire the next day when it arrived. They have a great crew and really helped me out! I will definitely use their services again.

These guys are so kind and helpful and I highly recommend this business. I had a flat tire and they tested it for repair first, showed me the leak and explained how it couldn't be repaired and replaced it with a brand new tire within 20 minutes. They are my hero's today

Vic (sp?) is indeed an honest man and I very much felt taken care of here. I had blown a tire so he replaced that but in examining the other tires he noticed a bubble in a separate one. So we replaced two tires at reasonable prices. Peace of mind is priceless, no? You will not be up-sold and you will be given honest work. What more do you need? I will definitely be coming back here for other services. Moved recently and glad that I m just around the bend from this shop!

I wish i could give a ZERO. Took the time to call ahead and when i got there the main guy in charge tried upping the price that HE gave me over the phone. When I called him out on that and one other inconsistancy he summarily yelled at me and kicked me out. I won't go along with his VERY ILLEGAL bait and switch techniques so now he thinks I am his DOG, so to speak? I treat my DOG much better than he treated me, a human being, seriously. So in review, i went there for nothing after taking the time and care to check ahead and I refused to let him lie and rip me off so he sent me packing with a slow leaking tire, very dangerous.... seriously.

Such a great experience! Went in today with a slow leak in my tire, they figured out the issue right away and helped me feel a bit more safe for my upcoming road trip. They also helped with some body work on my car, so fast and fairly priced. THANK YOU! I'll definitely be coming back.

Already great and honest service! Whenever I have issues with my car, Vic is just a phone call or text away. He always explains what needs to be done and works with my budget. Happy to have found a great mechanic! Would definitely recommend him to family and friends.

We received outstanding and incredibly quick service at Hovson! Vic was extremely helpful, professional, and did a wonderful job of explaining what was going on with our Scion and fixed it the same day, put on new tires, and gave an oil change, all at a very reasonable price. Definitely a one-stop shop with fantastic service!

I had a throttle actuator control system go bad on me Friday morning. Vic was a lifesaver, I drive for work and don't have a go to mechanic, until now. Vic stayed at the shop after hours so I may leave my vehicle Friday evening. By 1pm Saturday he had solved my initial problem and informed me i would need a new battery so the actuator replacement would work properly. Vic was also very upfront with prices and what would be needed so my vehicle would perform at its best. Wish I could give more stars Excellent experience overall and didn't break the bank either.

I have been to Hovson twice now ( 2 different cars, both with flats). Each time has been a great experience. they are lovely to work with, get what you need fast, and for a fair price. I couldn't recommend more! Hopefully i won't get another flat tire, but if i do i know where to go!

Terrific job for a great price. I got a flat and they fixed promptly. Checked all my tires and made sure pressure was correct. Friendly service. Would recommend without hesitation.

It's hard to find a mechanic you feel good about. This is the place, I've been dealing with Vic a lot lately because of a car that is giving me trouble and he has been spot on the whole time. They get you a deal with a rental car and everything, quick and easy. Really glad I found them.

Vic (the owner) was literally the kindest person- I went in there bc of a punctured tire and he not only fixed that on the spot, but another issue I didn t know about that would have been more serious if unattended. Let me price check another service before also deciding to have it done there, and then printed out some paperwork for me for a software issue I d have to get fulfilled at the dealership. And just super sweet the whole time!
