I recently went to get my rear brake pads replaced, and the entire process was very smooth and easy. The costs were really reasonable and was done in a timely manner. I was very surprised. I will definitely come back here for more services in the future.

Reliable service and prompt attention to the customers. I visited the smog check station B.L. SMOG Station. The smog technician Bryan was quick with the smile and very knowledgeable of his trade. By the way, the place is located on the corner of Gower and Santa Monica Blvd

Armen is ALWAYS consistent with his work ethic and quality service. His pricing is fair and much more affordable than Affordable Care that's on the same lot. He has over 25 years experience in auto mechanical work. It's hard to find honest mechanics nowadays!! Thank you Armen!! Keep up the great service!

I needed to find someone to fix my brakes asap so after looking at several shops I picked Hollywood Brake Experts & Auto. I called to get a quote and I thought it was a good price, and I was able to get in the same day. I was very impressed that everything was explained to me, that he was able to turn my rotors instead of replacing them, which would have cost more, and that my rear brake pads still had some life and didn't need to be replaced yet. I was impressed with the professionalism, the courtesy, and the great work performed at a fair price. When I need to have my rear brakes pads replaced I will definately come back! Took my 2014 M-Class to Armen. He's a one man show, but it's a very good show! He communicated well and gave me a fair quote. I stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon, he was fully booked that day but gave me Thursday morning time slot. Came back Thursday morning, and he had me out and driving the same day. The quote was literally thousands less than other Euro Car shops in the area. Happy with the job, and of course saving money! Also, minor detail but he was wearing his mask which some other shops just don't. The parts I chose were after market, but he gives you a quote for the German and the aftermarket part as well for you to decide. Thanks Armen!

Armen is a great guy. I have been going to him for over 20 years and he has worked on everything I have owned from my van's to my Mercedes Benz., He is one of the very few that has integrity on what he tells you he honors. He has been extremely fair with me and I have referred a lot of my friends and they are so happy that they found Armen. I wanted to write this as I use yelp and other services like this to see how the clients like the services and I wanted to support Armen as he is a real person in the world of liars and cheats.

Amazing service. Got my brakes done same day on my Pathfinder for less than half what the dealer was going to charge me. Armen was honest and didn't charge for parts I didn't need. He machined my rotors and swapped the brake pads in 2 hours. Even offered me a soda on the way out. Will definitely return for future services! Thanks Armen!

I've taken 2 different cars there. Both times Armen had them done very quickly and charged me very good prices. If you're looking for an honest mechanic, this is the place. Call first, if he doesn't answer, leave a message and he'll call you back.

I was visiting LA to help my daughter move and to take care of some repair and maintenance on her car. I found a not so close DIY garage but decided to give it a try since I like working on cars and I had toyed with opening a similar type business about 15 years ago. I purchased the brake pads and brake fluid to replace both front and rear pads and bleed the brake system, but because I do this occasionally as a hobby and I want to take the time to do things right, I was only able to replace the front pads and machine the front rotors in the limited time that I had. I decided to look for someone to finish the rear brakes and bleed the system and that's when I found Armen on Yelp. I called him and to my pleasant surprise, he said he would use my parts and could have the job completed in 2 hours. It is extremely rare these days to find a mechanic that will install parts that you buy. The best part is that he charged me about the same as the DIY garage for 3.5 hours of shop time and rotor machining, but in addition he did the brake system bleed.When you look at his shop, you know that it has been around for a long time. I asked him how long he said 35 years, and he's been a mechanic for 42. He's obviously been doing things right to stay in business all these years. I highly recommend to anyone reading this review and my daughter has now found a local mechanic that she can trust and that I know will do a good job.Service: Brakes

Armen is a really nice guy. This shop is a one man show. Armen listened to my problems and gave me options to fix the problem. He gives an honest opinion and he cares for your car. You should definitely go to this place if you have any problems with your brakes. That is what I went for. He also works on electrical stuff like alternators, starters, batteries, window motors etc. Plus, this place is also cheap which is a added bonus!!!
