Horrible Car Wash here s why you should not come here.Rude and incompetent staffCar was still dirty after the car washLeft spots and streaks all over the exteriorSprayed oil all over my rubber mats and didn t even clean the mats correctlySave your money and go to Culver City and Car Wash. Ask for Miguel. It s literally two minutes away and one person dedicated to your car and will take care of it from start to finish.

Shocked at how poor not only the service is, but how overlooked my car s interiors were. Arrived at 12:30 and waited around for 3 hours after the woman at the front desk told me they d notify me upon completion. 3 hours later, I finally asked if my car was completed and they said it was completed 3 hours ago. Checked the trunk just to see that it was UNTOUCHED. Incredibly disappointed. A waste of $40 and a Saturday afternoon. Will not be returning.Service: Auto interior vacuuming

I m from nj and just shipped my car out here. It was filthy from the trip and the inside hadn t been cleaned in a couple months. This was the most amazing and thorough car wash. Truly 10/10. Highly recommend!

This is the worst car wash experience I ve ever had. They took more time and money and got less accomplished than any other car wash I ve visited. There is dirt and funk all over the exterior body and wheels. The inside trunk has debris as if they didn t even try to vacuum. I even bought one of their premium packages. The guy even left a soaking wet towel in my car on the fabric.Save yourself some time and stress. Go literally anywhere else to get your car washed.

Ok so for all that are complaining about the service, let it be known, That, that place is a basic car wash, I saw the pictures in all of the reviews and I can tell that these people need professional detailing, by the way you are in a very high cost area and it takes more money to get the perfection these people want, yes it is expensive to get your cars washed here and these people I bet on a regular basis tip cheap, yeah you are in California and these people who are crying and complaining made it this way so quit your crying and go and get your cars detailed professionally god you guys are dirty and don t know how to do up keeps in your cars. Lol

If you're looking for a car wash that cleans both the interior and exterior of your car. This is not the place for you. Twice I took a car there. The rental I paid like $30 just to get it cleaned up and returned. But the interior was untouched- not even vacuumed.Next I took my friend's car and paid $50 and the same thing happened. No interior cleaning- weird

We paid over $34. They didn't even clean any part of the car or even the windows. I think they don't want to wash cars. Their job is to charge people their money all day

My car was seriously due for a car wash especially after major rainstorm we had few days prior.Thursday February 7th 2024 at 1p.m. took my car to Handy J Car Wash & Lube. This is my first time ever bringing my car to Handy J.There are 6 choices you can choose from of what type of car wash you want. I choose the 2nd tier which is the VIP car wash ($27.99).Mentioned to the gentleman that I wanted Vanilla scent. Was told I had to choose Tier 3 (Can't remember the name) in order to get the scent.$29.99...$2.00 dollars extra for just a couple of sprays. I decided to go with Tier 3 ($29.99).Once I received the receipt, went in to pay for it. The cashier (young female) had a "Major Attitude Problem" and was not cordial throughout my transaction at all. She was talking to another co-worker in Spanish and appeared to be upset that I interrupted their conversation. Keep in mind that I am a paying customer that is helping you stay in business (laughing).Took about 40 to 50 minutes for my car to be done. To be fair, the gentleman that did my car did an outstanding job. My car looked brand new.Fast Forward...early evening I was in Simi Valley and it rain for a short period of time.Friday Morning February 8th called Handy J Car Wash to see if they rain check option. The young lady with the bad attitude answered the phone. I ask about rain check and she said "24 Hours but it did not rain here last night." I told her that I was in another city and it did rain. She said "Hold On."Was on hold for almost 5 minutes. Manager got on the phone and I explained to him that it rained in the city I was in last night and to see if I could get rain check honored. His exact words were "It did not rain out here last night." Again, explained that I was in another city and it was raining out there. Manager again said "It did not rain out here last night."Again, I ask if rain check will be honored; Manager said "No." I ask the question one more time and the Manager again said "No."How about that.Paid $29.99 + tip, it rained in different city I was in and after explaining everything in full detail, rain check will not be honored.The manager indirectly calling me a "liar" to not honor rain check service.Really?In conclusion:Handy J Car Wash customer service is "Unprofessional to the Max."Again...Cashier=Major Attitude problem and Immature.Manager=Attitude problem and not listening to the paying customer that contribute to you getting a paycheck.If a customer tells you it rained, listen to the customer and grant rain check service for that customer. I will never bring my car to Handy J Cash Wash & Lube again for service of any kind

Absolutely awful business practices. First off I d like to start by saying the actual mechanic doing the oil change was great and apologized for the behavior of the other employees here. The lady behind the counter and the owner of this establishment especially need to work on their customer service skills. The way they spoke to me was unacceptable and I will never return to this place. Absolute rip off and awful service. Stay FAR AWAY.

I cannot recommend this service. I visited today and signed up for the $45 package, but was disappointed with the quality of the vacuum job. The rims were left partially dirty and untouched. However, I am giving two stars because the staff promptly addressed my complaint and redid the vacuum job right away.

This place was great! They did such a good job, my Audi Q8 was filthy and they did at a good cost with the Ambassador wash and finished it on time. Super nice! Highly recommend!

Do not recommend this place if you are looking for a 'detail'.During service selection, I specifically mentioned what I was looking for (build-ups and floor mat) and was recommended a mini detail, and a clay wax, with guaranteed satisfaction. When my car was ready, I had to keep pointing out the areas he missed. It was not difficult to spot the remaining dirt in black on a white car. I also asked to clean the build-ups at the edges of the rear window. He pulled out a screwdriver/flat head, covered it with his rag, and started digging, leaving scraped the paints shown in the picture. Dirt and grime still remain. I was also told my car was just dirty and what I am asking for is not included in the service.*You cannot tip with your payment; cash only.*They offer coupons on their website that says "Show Receptionist at Checkout to Redeem" the receptionist cannot accept the coupon. Present it during the service selectionServices: Clay bar treatment, Auto detailing, Vacuuming, Auto interior vacuuming, Car waxing

I came here today and it was my first time trying their car wash. I thought what could go wrong with a car wash so, I trusted this company and didn't check anything. My front passenger seat and the back seats were not vacuumed. I'm very disappointed with the service and will never step foot here again. There's a big white dude in the front where you drop the car and if you refuse his overly expensive upsell packages, I guess he gets offended and doesn't clean your car properly. So buyer beware. There are many other car wash places that have similar prices with much better service.

I have been coming here for several years and it s the BEST CAR WASH ON THE WESTSIDE! The staff are all friendly! They are like a second family to me!Ask Pancho or Ben for a recommendation on what type of car wash you need and they will hook you up!Claudia always welcomes me at the cash register with a friendly smile and we talk about life!This is one of the last true original spots in Culver City with FRIENDLY PEOPLE! The car washes are reasonably priced and the staff always does an EXCELLENT JOB cleaning my car!I love this place!

BEWARE: they try charging you a 3 to 5 dollars extra if you have a Tesla. When asked why they said that the car doesn t have neutral . When told him he was wrong, he got incredibly aggressive challenging me to find the neutral...on my own car.We decided to leave as more than just the upsell fee, the attitude, behavior and way he talked to me was incredibly disrespectful.For the record, their 19.99 special is one dollar more expensive than the car wash on Lincoln, which is 3 minutes away and has a much better service.Please note that the Hispanic gentlemen that were the ones cleaning the car were super nice and apologetic which the guy that did the ticket is the one we had a problem with.

Zero star! Worst car wash ever! I went to the car wash and my car came out full of stains! The employee disappeared with my car key, came back after 10 -15 minutes and said the car was done! Wheb I got home I noticed that the car was still full of sand and with the stains from the product they used to clean the car. Again... worst car wash service ever!

I have been coming here to get my oil changed for as long as I've had my vehicle(2 yrs) always excellent service and good deal and thw owner Rafi goes above and beyond to ensure his customers are satisfied and always delivers quality. I highly recommend you come here to get your oil changed and car washed.

Best place in LA to get your car washed. I have been coming to.them.since my dad would bring the family car to get washed. They wash all cars by hand, detailed the way you like. Reasonable prices and if you're hungry they have a great bbq place in the corner to eat. Take it down the street and eat at the park or eat at their patio and take in the views of the westside. Always a good day to get your car washed at Handy J! Love them!

I took the bosses truck there to get the "ambassador " car wash service. They did a horrible job on the interior leaving the rubber floor mats dirty and the seats poorly wiped down with oil and after asking me what flavor air freshener I think they used baby diapers for air freshener. I tipped the worked $10 just to get the key back and noticed the issues. Was shuffled out because of the busy line of cars. DO NOT BOTHER USING THIS PLACE THEY DO A TERRIBLE JOB

Been coming here since 2006. A missed spot now and then but overall great job. For the negative reviewers, don't go when it's peak times. Go early or late when they can give you more time. Will always recommend.

This is the best car wash in my area. It's a little pricey, but they do a great job. My car was spotless inside and out. I think my car gave me a little smile for the nice treatment it received. And, when I picked up at my friends that night oh, they commented on how great the car locked right down to the tires.

I come here once/month for each of my vehicles only reason I don t give 5-stars is they don t have a reliable website with pricing/deals and they will try and upsell you when you pull up. There s coupons floating around that they won t honor. Other than that, I get the $45 Ambassador car wash and they vacuum the inside, take it through the extensive wash, hand dry and clean the inside with rags. Just be confident when you say what you want and don t hesitate, or you ll end up overpaying.

A customer complained about a scratch on her car after service. When I took my car home I saw faint scratches on my car (probably from the milk carts and ladders they use to hand wash the car). Otherwise, they shine up a car nicely.

Terrible quality and serviceI ordered exclusive wash but the car was all dirty. Even birds pop on a window wasn t removed. I pointed all dirty stains to the person who worked with my can, but he refused to do cleaning.The manager started to yell that my package doesn t actually cover any detailed cleaning and I payed not enough. even having the extended package doesn t cover trunk cleaning or interior wash

Run far away from that place. This is a nightmare. Very expansive for what they REALLY do. They didn t clean my trunk properly because dogs hair. If you want to clean dogs hair don t come here. I asked for more and they finally conceded to redo it properly. After 5 minutes the guy in charge gave me the vacuum and told me do it yourself . And after 5 minutes the boss came to me yelling at me like crazy because I was not authorised to touch the vacuum!!!! Great guys. Thank you for being so horrible with all your customers. I m glad to read so many bad comments below mine. Have a nice day. You don t even deserve one star.
