If you have a Benz, you should come to George s shop and nowhere else. I cannot emphasize enough how great this man and his team are. He is the only person I ve been taking my car to for over 10 years.Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable, he s a straight shooter who is looking out for your best interest and will never sell you anything overpriced or unneeded. I write this today because I came in this morning and he quickly diagnosed the issues, told me what was important to fix immediately, openly admitted for one part that this will look aesthetically nice but you don t actually need it and it won t impact the safety or structure of the vehicle and for another part advised we can sell you the OEM part but you can also get something just as good online for much less and we ll install it. The best vendor I ve ever worked with ever

I came to G&N motors after an outrageous quote from the dealership to fix my window motor in my G550, and I m so glad I found the G&N team! They were able to find the part for me, and get my window fixed the same day for significantly less than what I was quoted! A few hours after I picked up my truck, George called me and told me that they accidentally overcharged me for the repair, and was so apologetic and asked me to come back so they could refund the difference. Not only were they quick and well priced, George was honest with me! I ll absolutely be returning, they re a trustworthy team! Thanks guys!

I took my Mercedes E-Class to G and N Motors after noticing some strange noises from the engine. I was greeted by George, the owner, who was very friendly and professional. He ran a diagnostic test and explained the problem to me in detail. He gave me a fair estimate and assured me that he could fix it in a day. I was impressed by his knowledge and experience with Mercedes Benz cars. The next day, I received a call from George, telling me that my car was ready. He said that he had replaced the faulty parts. He also showed me the old parts and the invoice, which matched his estimate. I was very happy with my experience at G and N Motors. George and his team were honest, reliable, and skilled. They treated my car with care and respect. They also charged me a reasonable price for their work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who owns a Mercedes Benz car.

I had a great experience with G&N motors. They offer dealership level service at a reasonable price. They have a team of certified technicians who can handle any Mercedes-Benz issue. George, the owner, is a honest and trustworthy person. He explained everything clearly and gave me a great estimate. George and team are the greatest independent Mercedes mechanics in LA.... Period. No job is too small or too big. OEM or aftermarket, they are the best. Do not be overwhelmed by the crowded shop, it's crowded because they are busy helping fix and maintain the finest Mercedes Benz automobiles in LA. They are very reasonably priced and George will explain issues they uncover as if you are family.Update: I continue to completely recommend this shop. George has done so much fantastic work for me. So appreciative

Sooooo happy with their service and price. My baby Mercedes had an issue at my job site, I had no idea about West LA area I googled , read all the reviews I was nervous but I had my car towed there. All the reviews are TRUE!!!! George is awesome! He explained everything about the repairs and broke down prices. His team is amazing!! This is the place for my Mercedes from now on. Been taking my C63 here for a while and they are amazing. George is the main guy and he is so kind and helpful. His staff is good too. They get work done fast and at a significantly better price than Mercedes service centers. I took my car for a serious engine problem. Mercedes said the car was dead and needed a new engine for a total of $65,000. These guys fixed my engine for $7k. Wow! Truly the Mercedes Whisperer! After years of paying exorbitant prices at the Beverly Hills Mercedes dealer, my friend told me about G&N. After getting a $5600 estimate for new shocks/struts I at BHMB I took it to George and he had it fixed and ready within a day for thousands less! Bye bye BHMB!

I have had many experiences with this business. In the last week, they repaired a rim, repaired a tire and did my yearly maintenance. It only required three days to finish this work. I highly recommend this business. They are efficient and very reasonably priced.

George is one of the most professional Mrecedes mechanics in Los Angeles , he is honest trustworthy efficient and fair.He found the problem with my car saving me hundreds of dollars and save me for unnecessary headaches and time fixing my car .I Will recommend his shop and professional staff to anyone whom having any issues with their Mercedes .

Absolutely amazing service. I had to find a Mercedes repair shop site unseen. A tow truck towed it to G&N. George did an outstanding job with repairing the transmission on a very old Mercedes.He also did a complete diagnostic of all aspects of the vehicle. After he changed out the broken transmission parts, he let the vehicle run for a period of time. He discovered a small radiator leak which is what he thinks caused water in the transmission and caused it to get damaged in the first place. Don't quote me though as I am not a mechanic.If this leak had not been discovered its possible the same damage would have occurred again.When I picked up the vehicle, there were dozens of cars in his shop, yet George greeted me personally, walked me to my vehicle and reviewed the repairs and explained recommended service mileage.Overall, a great experience. I highly recommend George and his team at G&N Motors.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

George is a MAJOR crook. My car had an overheating problem. I left it there for a few weeks. He said he did a leak down test. He lied. He didn t. He told me my car is worthless and I should just sell it as is. (My car is a collector grade 280SE convertible from 1971). He said I basically needed a new engine. My engine was perfectly fine. (I took it somewhere else where they told me it needed a housing for the water pump)He said the new engine would cost me upwards of 50k.I truthfully think he believes I m stupid and I would surrender my car to him for cheap. Steer clear of this crook at all costs.

A RAT chewed and ate the wiring in the engine of my fairly new MercedesI had to replace the entire Wiring Harness. It involves so much work and hours. It is a nightmare job. I have taken all my cars to G & N Motors, over the years for mechanical work and there is no mechanic anywhere that compares. Most of the shops are crooks and not to be trusted. I would trust George, the owner with my life. They do wonderful work there and his word is gold. If he tells you something needs to be done to the car, believe me, he is telling the truth. I have met other clients at his shop when taking or picking up my car and most of them have been going there for over 25 plus years. That should tell you something. And I never met a client there, that did not love George, the owner. The people that work there have been there for years, as George is good to them too. It is like a family there. No need to ever go anywhere else and this is all true what I have written. I came here after getting ripped off at the Beverly Hills Service Department. I asked George to check a few things for me and he told me honestly what needed to be done. I agreed to have my front pads and rotors replaced. I arrived and was charged for the back ones which I genuinely initially did not ask for but then George went ahead and gave them to me for free!!! I felt so bad and even tried to tip him in cash and he told me it was on the house. I m just very happy and grateful I found this shop! I drove all the way from North Hollywood. Not to mention that my car is working sooo good and no squeaky from my breaks. The front desk women are also so nice and patient as well! You can tell this shop is not greedy! I m a young female and I felt very comfortable coming here.Services: Engine repair, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Vehicle maintenance

George and his team are top notch. I've been going to G&N with my 2003 E320 for close to 3 years and I've never been disappointed by their level of service. They're very knowledgeable about Mercedes (being a certified shop and all) and can perform all services for your Mercedes. I've met many of George's customers while waiting there and some of them have been going to this shop for almost 30 years with all their Mercedes needs. It's quite an achievement when you have such long-time customers that trust you in your work. It makes me want to make sure that when I buy my next car, that it's a Mercedes so I can have it serviced here and not the dealership!Now, as long as Mercedes doesn't screw up and keep making amazing cars, I will be a customer of George's for life. Chris is also an amazing technician there (George's lead tech). They're all such nice guys there, and run a friendly shop and all of their prices sound insanely reasonable for the great work they do. They even pick you up and drop you off if you're within a certain mile radius. Can't beat their service. Sometimes you may have to wait a little bit, but hey, they're busy with work and cars aren't easy to fix, and it's good they're busy because so many people trust them, so can't go wrong going here.

These guys are AWESOME!!! By far the best Mercedes-Benz service in the area. I used to dread taking my car to the shop... the dealers are so overpriced and seldom courteous. But G & N is outstanding!I have been taking my car there for a few years now for regular maintenance and for a couple of minor problems as well. Their prices are excellent, they have always given me an exact quote and stuck to it - no surprises. And they know Mercedes! That is all they do and the shop is packed every single day. They are fast, courteous, and do excellent work have have several times dealt with minor issues on the spot when I just drove up and needed something ASAP.Highly recommend these guys if you are looking for top quality Mercedes service and repair in Beverly Hills or West LA.

Thank you G and N! was at UCLA HOSPITAL near this mechanic. Our child had been in the Hospital for two weeks. I had a warning light come on for our C300. Being from out if town I was really worried the car would breakdown on out long journey home after picking up our daughter at the Hospital. I explained my situation on a Monday morning. They said bring it now I did and they put me in front of a bunch of other cars, very expensive ones, with customers waiting. I was in and out in 45 minutes and didn t have to pay a lot. They were honest, compassionate and kind. I was blown away to the point of tears because they came thru for us during an extremely stressful time. I pray God will bless these folks abundantly for making our day and providing a safe trip home Service: Battery

George knows classic Mercedes-Benz vehicles unlike any other Mercedes Master Mechanic I ve met in my 25 years of Mercedes ownership. He s always able to diagnose and repair my car properly the first time. His small shop is WAY busier than M-B of Beverly Hills just a few miles away, so be sure to make an appointment in advance. While you won t get the loaner car or pasteries like the dealer offers, what you will receive is better work at more reasonable prices. Extremely honest shop. Glad I was recommended to him by another classic Mercedes owner.

The 1st thing that speaks for itself is that this dealership has been around for over 25 years and that means that they're obviously doing something right and still having such high RatingsI brought a car that was belonging to a charity to repair at this repair shop and the moment I said it's a charity's car I felt they give me better service as if I was the highest paying customer. The owner named George and his brother-in-law really went beyond to accommodate with the repairs.I think what makes this place special is that the owners always SMILING and friendly your not afraid to ask him anything IT'S SUPER PERSONAL .he super knowledgeable super easy going and whomever I mentioned their mechanic shop to they all said we know them there been there forever they're the best..I know this sounds like a fake review but honestly this is the truth if you're looking for a personal friendly mechanic shop which knows their stuff and is certified by Mercedes Benz this is the place it's still like a mom and pop genuine mechanic shop without all the fluff of the bigger places

I have a 1989 560SL, and I became a huge fan of George at G & N (he's "the man" there) when he was able to fix the turn signal that I had paid three other shops to do, only to have those other shop's repairs fail after only a few weeks. Turns out the steering column was out of alignment, but none of the other shops noticed that. Gorge fixed it and it has stayed fixed. Since that time, he has proved himself to be an outstanding mechanic with other outstanding mechanics in his employ. Most of all, I admire him because he is very fair, even under-priced, in his pricing and an honorable and helpful technician who stands behind his work without question.I was moved to write this review because it is so hard to find an expert Mercedes mechanic that charges reasonable rates. George is that man. I recommend him highly without reservation.
