Had to get my car repaired and smog checked and no one else would even look at my car to diagnose the problem for months. Brought it to this place and not only was the guy super nice and helpful, but he had the car fixed and passing smog the next day. They're really good at what they do here, highly recommend.

I've been taking my car here for a year and this place has been fantastic. They are honest, skillful and efficient. Also they treat women fairly! Best shop around hands down. I have trusted my cars with George for 7 years now living in Los Angeles after almost getting scammed by 2 other mechanics. He gives great and honest pricing and will even sometimes offer you used parts for a better deal as he works with other local businesses. They service my BMW 330i and my Cadillac SRX. My cars run great and just glad to see this business up and running with the covid impact. I recommend him to anyone. Also they are AAA approved shop which is a huge plus.. Thank you George!

By far one of the most honest and fair mechanics I've ever visited. I had taken my BMW 325i to the dealer for a maintenence visit and they gave me a list of almost $3000 worth of fixes that needed to be done. Friendly Auto Clinic told me exactly which one of those I actually needed and did the job for 1/3 of the price. They finished everything in 1 day and did a great job. I don't think I'll ever go to another mechanic while I live in LA.

I have a 95 MBZ e320 needed a Star Station Smog Check and Certificate. This is a no nonsense shop, simple in/out service. Two years ago I took this same car to another station and got robbed to pass the test. That station claimed they had to tweak the mixture for it to pass the test, cost me $200. At this test station, with the same car, no tweeting of setting to pass, cost $95. It may not be the cheapest for smog check, but still a lot cheaper that getting rob and lied to.

I have been going there for years, and I won't trust anybody else with my cars. There were recommended by a AAA guy who changed my battery so I decided to give them a try. Pinky's automotive gave me the huge rate for the roof of my convertible which didn't close. They said I needed to replace the whole mechanical engine to open and close the roof and it would cost me $1,400! Being a woman I don't know much about mechanical stuff but I have good intuitions, I knew in my heart there was another solution, so I went to see Georges and checked his prices. I was so please when he told me that all I needed was a new roof belt and the charge would be about $200! After that he took such great care of my 2004, 350Z that it looked brand new!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

I don't usually write reviews, and I've been with my car to soo many shops, but I had to write a review for this business: I'm sad I didn't catch or maybe I forget the guy's name, but the mechanic I talked with was incredibly honest, helpful and friendly in comparison to other shops. I like to work on my car myself (but for this fix I needed help), so having him explain what he did was really great. The fact that the pricing was so reasonable, and that he even caught an issue I missed (replaced a small hose which was leaking air) was amazing. I'm surprised how small their shop is, and truly wish them the success they deserve. I'm also so happy and relieved that I found a mechanic in LA that I trust and will be happily coming back to for all future repairs I can't handle myself! in short: if you are looking for an honest friendly mechanic, why look elsewhere? the amount of positive reviews speaks for itself.Service: Auto engine tuning

I drive a 1970 Ford F100 pickup truck which most repair shops won't touch. These two guys George and Vick go out of their way to fix it fast, show me the broken parts and explain to me what they did. BTW I work as a driver for Project Angel Food down the street from them, and they service our entire fleet of about 15 vans. Varesh and George are great mechanics and very trustworthy. I have been taking my cars there for everything from oil changes to major repairs. They stand behind their work and always are fairly priced. These guys know their cars too and love to talk about them (if you are interested). I would highly recommend them and do to everyone I know in the area.

I have been coming here for almost a decade and will never go to any other auto shop in LA. George and Vrezh have always treated me and my husband like family. They are honest and kind people who we trust with their knowledge of cars whole heartedly. We always take our vehicles here first before we go to the dealership so we know what to expect if there is a problem and will let us know to use our warranty. 100% recommend them for all car types.

The best Auto shop I have been to in LA. I have been going to George and his crew for over 5 years now, Im always greeted with a smile and a hand shake. I keep coming back anytime I need an oil change to major repairs. When you ask for a quote, that is the price you will pay, if not less. They are quick and stand by there work. I recommend him to anyone that asks for a great repair shop in LA.

Finally! After 30 years living and driving in Hollywood, I finally found a great and trustworthy team who know their business about car repair. Very accomplished and knowledgeable mechanics. I highly recommend them. Both Varesh and George are great guys to know, and they will treat you with honesty and fairness.

Honest mechanic, is that an oxymoron? Not here. Had a few problems the dealership told me needed to be fixed, they looked and only fixed what actually needed to be fixed for a great price.

The only place I trust to take my van. They're honest and reasonable priced. They'll go out of their way to make sure your car works. My '89 van needed some obscure electronic part that isn't available anywhere any more and they called around until they found a place that rebuilds it. Other mechanics wouldn't even work on my van because it's a hassle to deal with. You're in good hands with them.

A dishonest and unprofessional place. Ask for $50 and when you tell him ill come and pay $5 more than K town that charges $45 he hike the price to $55 because he claimed i wasted his time while i was about to take my car to him. Not recommended due to his price gagging behavior, being rude and customer unfriendly.

Excellent and HONEST service always. I've been a loyal customer for more than 15years now, and have referred many of my contacts to them as well. And they've all been very happy with the service they received. It's hard to find a good honest mechanic. Ask for Vregh.

This place doesn't look like much and you might even think it is a scrap yard for broken down old cars. Looks can be deceiving though. All automotive repair businesses appear to be in some state of disarray and Friendly Auto Clinic is no exception to that rule. It is almost as if you are walking through a maze that is made up of late model cars just to get to their office. But don't let all of that scare you off. I took my Ford Explorer there when its alternator bought the farm and I was very impressed at how quickly they were able to fix my SUV and how reasonable the replacement parts and labor prices were. It isn't often that you find a mechanic that you feel is knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy but that is exactly what you will find at Friendly Auto Clinic. They just happen to be friendly as well.

The best import auto shop in Hollywood , George is the nicest most honest mechanic I know , great prices BMW dealer was charging $1000 for something that George charge me. $500 with genuine BMW parts .. Will recommend to anyone looking to save some money with quality service !

For a dad there is nothing worse than sending a daughter to a mechanic for something he can t fix. I m thankful that this shop did not take advantage of her and found the fault to be a battery manufacturer issue.

This place is amazing - haven't owned a car in 20 years and was very hesitant to go to a mechanic but George is not only friendly and honest but took the time to explain the potential issues with a car I was considering buying. I live an hour from here but will make the drive to come back to this mechanic!

Very kind, very helpful. It's the first time in LA I've felt taken care of and not taken advantage of, which is such a relief! They talk over the issue and give me options. I recommend for anyone who is having trouble with their car.
