Driving home from work and my car starts overheating. I couldn't drive it anymore and just pulled into Fernando's Tire. Let me say this, I'm glad I did!Super friendly and great service. Told me I could leave my car there and he would call me. Literally by time I got home he called and said my radiator was cracked. It was close to closing time and he would look the next day for a new radiator.Called me first thing the next morning and told me if I liked I could buy my own radiator and he would install it for me or he could pick up a new one for me. I though that was really nice, who gives you those kind of choices nowadays??Needless to say, I let him get the radiator for me and within a few hours my problem was solved. Great price and top notch service! Family owned business. Check them out.

Really kind and helpful guys who aren t looking to make a quick buck, they genuinely want to help you. I ve gotten my tire fixed twice here both times it was seamless, quick and a very fair price. They also take Zelle/venmo which is convenient these days!

The single best general Automotive Repair lot in LA County, in my own personal opinion. Been here for 10 years and traveled from San Diego to Bakersfield, and I ve personally never had a better experience with Mechanic work than these guys at Fernando s Tires. It might be a small lot, but it s got a lot of personality and the workers know what they re doing. I bought all my own parts before I went and it didn t even take them a full hour to do a full oil change, install new front brakes on both tires and replace my Serpentine belt. The price they charged me was actually better than what I ve been forced to pay for similar repairs at mechanic shops in places like Texas and South Carolina just a few years ago, which is amazing considering where they are located. It is such a breath of fresh air pulling into that lot because I know my car is going get serviced well and I won t be hassled. They gave me multiple suggestions each time I ve been there for things I should try to get fixed soon but it never once felt like they were trying to force the repair for the sake of a sale; They were just showing their concern as a mechanic who understands what they re looking at, which I greatly appreciate. For general issues like tires, oil replacement, brake pads, Serpentine/Timing belts, etc; This is the place to go. Don t go to a manufacturer s lot like Ford or Chevy or to a Big Name shop where they re going to take your Soul and your first born child as payment for an Oil replacement; Fernando s Tires deserves the business. Superb customer service experience both times I ve been there, super fast, and this Ol 2006 I recently bought is running smoother than ever.

I went here on a Friday afternoon because I needed some tire help. Jose helped me immediately, and I was in and out SUPER quickly. He was a very very friendly guy, which was refreshing and made me want to come back. He checked all my tires and recommended I change more than one, but when I told him I could only afford to change one, he did not push me to do anything outside of my budget. For the record, it cost about $40 to change one. After he completed my service, Jose also gave me a rundown of other things to look out for in the future with my car, which I really appreciated.Although there is a sign saying they only accept cash, I believe they have an ATM. They also told me I could pay through Zelle, which is what I chose to do. If I have problems in the future, I would definitely want to return here!

I was driving on the freeway when my car got a low tire pressure notification on the dash. I ended up getting off and stopping by at a gas station to try and put air but unfortunately the gas station and machine didn't work. I didn notice that my front driver side wheel was running low on air so I looked up the closest tire shop and found Fernando's tire shop. They were able to locate a nail that I hadn't seen so I asked how much would it be to patch it and the first employee who was helping me said it would be $25 to patch it but shortly after he said they can charge $10 just to put a plug in it which would do the same job. I said okay the plug is fine. I then asked if they accept debit cards and they respond that they only accept cash but they can accept zelle. While the first employee is plugging the tire Jose comes out and checks the other tires pressure and starts having a conversation with me and letting me know come by any time I need help. I start looking at the rims and when the first employee returns I ask him for prices. I then ask the information to send the zelle payment, he then says it'll be $20. I then remind him he had said it was $10 earlier. He gets a bit flustered and says no it's $20.The last minute price change was definitely annoying and I lost any interest of ever returning. The service was done pretty quickly but the price change is the only thing that stayed on my mind, so be mindful of sketchyness / price switching.

Well let me start by saying I took my car here the 1st time for a flat tireTo me at the beginning I I was thinking Jose was a great mechaniBut when I took my Took my car back he told me I needed a new battery that it was bad and was sending a full signal that was $283 Well it turned out it was the same battery that I had in there from the scratch marks on the post where I had to screwIs still wouldn't start He changed a lot of sensors changed his part plugs then all sudden there's a sensor that's broken a couple of them weren't broken before I took it And I catch the guy looking on Looking on YouTube how to fix a carWell he adjusted one of his centuries wrong so the car would not start at all no compressionI had it told you another mechanicThey put a camera inside thisAnd found out that the push rods were been from the center being adjusted wrong I'm out $1600 to have the engine done And this Mechanic does not want to pay for the damage that was caused by him trying to blame it on the other guy when it was damaged when I took it To the 2nd mechanic He doesn't want to pay the $1600 so the only thing I coul Is was to violent complaint with automotive repair and I have attorney already The girl had to take this to court and also for Las Vegas which is gonna cost more of his time and money that it's going to cost so there's paid the $1600 to fix my car Is very disappointed in the shopoKevin's auto repair in Gardena will confirm this guy screwed up my car with.I recommend Kevin's auto repair on Vermont and a 156th street. They are very liable and very good mechanics. Dairy please with their work

I had to get a wheel stud replaced after a big chain tire store broke it. Tony and his crew were friendly, fast and affordable. I also like that their shop is open late. Overall great experience. Thank you!

These guys are the best been coming here for years. Good quality used tires usually at around 30 to 40 bucks a tire. I have low profile, sporty tread shoes and they always take care of me.Came last week thinking I needed a new tire, but they just removed the nail and patched it up for only $10, I threw them an extra five cuz the service they provide is nowhere near the cost of what it should be.Looking for decent quality rubber at an amazing price, these are your guys.

I've had positive experiences the two times I've gone. Good service and quick. It's a small mom & pop type tire shop with lots of used tires. If you're buying a used tire you've just got to be a little extra careful. You get what you pay for, as they're about a quarter of the price of a brand new one.

Very sweet, professional guys. They bailed me out when I got a flat tire a couple miles away from thier shop (after a frustrating hour on hold with AAA). Totally reasonable prices, for the bail-out and the tire.Ps they moved locations, they are on Beverly Blvd now.
