Amazing. The only honest mechanic left in California so happy to get my car running perfectly. It s a good feeling knowing it s fixed right I m gonna run another hundred thousand miles.

I feel so fortunate this shop is here. I ve been coming for more than 10 years! Sam is the best, always communicating what s going on with the car and very honest about what repairs are needed and what can wait. The shop is efficient and fast, and reasonably priced! They ve helped me keep my almost 20 year old car on the road! Can t ask for a better mechanic!!

Fair pricing and same day service. Sam and crew are great! They assessed the situation accurately with my car and afterwards I never knew it could work so well (my break cylinders specifically). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. I ll definitely go back next time I need a mechanic!

Very reasonable and honest mechanic shop that my friend referred me to. I highly recommend to anyone to bring your vehicles here for service. My friend has been coming here for 20 years!The review saying the place is filthy is a downright lie and probably a competitor. The place is very clean and organized.I have an RV and was around all day and got to witness their work flow. They efficiently balance their time working on all the vehicles people have dropped off in a way that is not wasteful to the customer. I was very impressed.

Super late on this review.....but I have been coming here for about 13 years, for non-warranty repairs and routine maintenance. They are honest and prices are very reasonable. They stay busy with no advertising for one reason: happy loyal clients!!

One of the worst places. I paid him about $2,000 to fix up my car cuz I was going on a road trip. He showed me a list of things he fixed. And I paid and I went on the road and the car broke down before I got outta state. He assured me it was gonna make it across the country. I has it checked out by two other mechanics. Everything he said he fixed. He didn't do anything.... besides maybe change some fluids. Idk. Don't go here for repairs!! **** u Sam..

Greatest service ever, I had to ride until San Jose the same day and my car has Oil Leak, they fix it, really fix it, fair price, and the owner is so kind! Even they knew my issue and they stay I little bit more, doing great, great customer service, definitely recommend!

Sam and the guys at express auto really know cars. They will take care of you. I like the service. I have been a customer for over 10 years. That, in itself should say everything. Most people feel taken advantage of by their mechanic and move on to others relatively quickly. I intend to continue being a customer of Sam's for the forseeable future.

A very nice man who works hard and quickly. I called and said I'd be there in 10 minutes and asked if he could do a smog check for me. He told me I'd be next. The shop was busy and full of cars, but he got me in and out of there fast and charged me a very fair price for the test. Can't ask for more.

The main staff member was also working as a mechanic, he was a bit rude and generally unhelpful. The Smog check cost 50$.Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification

Sam, the owner, is Honest and a great mechanic. He has helped me many times with my car. He has gotten my car going for minimum costs many times. He goes out of his way for his customers!Ella

He took me right away for a smog inspection- his prices are amazing super fair and he s professional and kind- I highly suggest this place- make sure you deal with Sam he s the man!

My car wouldn't start despite a battery jump attempt. I spoke with Sam at Express Auto Shop and within 1 hour he sent Fred over to my place to diagnose the problem. Fred was able to fix my car on the spot with about 5 minutes of effort (turns out the cable was loose)! When I asked how much, Fred declined payment! Of course, I paid him anyway for his time and effort on a Sunday. Needless to say, I will be going back to Express Auto Shop for any further automotive needs. They are HONEST and PROFESSIONAL, and I couldn't recommend these guys any higher!

I come here for one reason. They are honest. The place looks like dirty and messy but I won't stop bringing all my vehicles here for the owner and his crew are honest and professional in their workmanship.

Hands down the most honest owner and mechanics in Los Angeles! My mom has been going there for 8 years and I trust her to go nowhere else. You can not go wrong.
