Highly recommend this shop. I curbed my wheel pretty bad on my 24 911. Despite being busy, Anthony was able to squeeze me in the same day I called. Wheel is good as new. Also had the pleasure of speaking with his father while I waited, who was a Porsche mechanic way back in the day. All in all a great experience. Will do business with Exoticar again.

I have been working with this shop for 10 years on 9 vehicles ranging from full wraps to suspension to body work to off-roading.We are just now starting on our 10th vehicle project w-which is a Ford Bronco Badlands Sasquatch edition (not pictured).The owner and his crew are the first and typically only people I need to call for anything I can imagine I want to do to customize or enhance my rides.Here is just a small sample of the many vehicles Exoticar has done work on. 10 years; 10 cars!If that doesn't properly explain why a guy like me who doesn't rush to the Internet to give 5-star reviews like I did in this case, nothing ever will.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim, Battery

I went to Exoticar with a recommendation to fix a minor dent and scrape, as well as three wheel rashes that plague the Tesla M3. Anthony and Alex totally looked after me, giving me a great price and a fantastic job. What's more, they finished two days *early!* Not to downplay the job and the cost, but that really is a step above. And, they're a good crew that's a pleasure to deal with. For as long as I live in a place that needs a full lock and full reverse lock to get into my garage, and as long as I have wheels that stick out further than the tire, I'm going to need bodywork, for better or worse. Honest and straightforward shop. I took my car in for a rattle. They had it about a week but were unable to diagnose the problem. They recommended a few mechanics who could take a look as well.My car was super dirty and they took the time to wash it for me as well. The owner, Anthony, wouldn t take any payment either because they were unable to diagnose. Class act and definitely my top choice for any future PPF needs

Finish work is nice at best. Be prepared for delays, damage to your vehicle, missing parts, failure to take responsibility, blaming the customer and outright lies.

Anthony, Alex and Moe were all super helpful in helping guide me in the right direction for my car.I did a full PPF wrap on my car and was very pleased with the results.I ll be coming to Exoticar for all my future car modifications/repairs and will absolutely recommend.

Wow, what can I say? Anthony and his team are the best!! I have been using this shop now going on 10 years. Always great prices and the best work quality. They worked on my 2018 Mercedes and my 1967 Ferrari. There isn't anything they will not do, and to the very best in quality.

I just had my 2009 "Brass Hat" Porsche Cayman S completely painted and a clear bra placed. Their work is flawless, I should know as I did car restorations, body work and painting when I was younger before I became a dentist. Workmandship just doesn't get any better. Found my new go-to.I approached Exoticar for a clear bra on my Audi R8, with some price sensitivity. They quickly fit me into their schedule and the turnaround was less than 24hrs. Very quick. Not only did they complete the work requested, but they went above and beyond to make sure everything was 100%, including wrapping additional parts of the car at no additional cost.That level of service combined with a very easy to work with group of guys (Devon, Monty, and the owner Anthony) will keep me coming back. In fact, I received a quote for some additional modifications and I'll be looking to schedule that shortly.Very happy customer.

They powder coated the rims on my 2016 Range Rover Sport SUV and from the time I drove it from their shop to my home I was told at 2 stoplights how great my ride looked. Brought it in on a Monday they were completed and ready for pick up by 10am Wed. Their work is superb and very professional, a great choice on my part.

I had a great experience with Anthony Lahner. He s the owner and a very nice guy. I ve been screwed by a lot of shops and they try to take as much as they can. Anthony actually saved me money. His price was the best in my area for rim repair and he helped me save by buying a used tire instead of replacing the front two with new ones. If you need something, at least call to see what he has to offer. I bet it s gonna be better than other places. Thanks, Anthony! I ll come back to you if I need any help in the future.

I took my car here for minor curb rash repair on a single wheel. Anthony provided a quick overview of the process and, most importantly, a quote. His prices are extremely reasonable and they were there when I showed up at 8AM on a Monday.My wheel was a painted dark gunmetal gray, and upon looking at the finished product, I struggled to find where old paint started and new paint began. A closer look couldn't even reveal where the curb rash had been.The managed to turn the car around in about 4 hours, which was just awesome. I will definitely be returning to Anthony and his team at Exoticar LA for future cosmetic repairs on my car. I left 100% satisfied.

I know others have touted attention to detail, but the experience I had with Anthony and my '63 Lemans convertible was *completely* different.I didn't hear back for 2 weeks after drop off, so I called. Not a big deal, since they could have been very busy. He said he wouldn't recommend doing the work and said the pre-purchase inspector missed a number of issues. I arranged for a tow (b/c of rear suspension issue).He said he'd put the battery on a trickle charger beforehand and I reminded him the day of pickup. It never happened. It showed up to my house dead �turned the key and just got a click. Had to push it into its spot and ruptured my achilles in the process.He also said he'd email me, "a bunch of pictures on his phone," of the things he saw underneath, to show why he advised against the repairs and the problems that were missed in its pre-purchase inspection. After asking him 3 times, I still haven't gotten them. And it's been 3+ weeks since I reminded him last.They may be great mechanics, but I can't vouch for that. All I can speak to is the fact that Anthony didn't live up to either of his commitments, despite multiple requests (and reminders).

Had wheels powder coated satin black, wheel spacers added and tints installed on my e63s. Minimal/subtle changes made that took the car to a whole other level. Just so happy w the work and at an affordable price.

Dropped my car off at Exoticar on March 16, 2020 for a rear bumper repair after being rear-ended. While I am able to understand that the timeline of the repair was likely affected by the COVID-19 situation, the initial estimate of repair time I was told was about a week or so . When everything was said and done, my car was not repaired until April 30, 2020 or nearly 7 weeks after it was dropped off. The communication during this time was also so minimal that I don t even understand what took the repair such a long period of time. My phone calls were often not returned, and emails frequently took weeks (plural) to be responded to. The reason I am willing to offer two stars in regard to the repair is that it was ultimately completed, appears to be completed well, and they offered to store my car while I was out of town until I could come pick it up.What I cannot understand and give Exoticar the benefit of the doubt on, however, is that when I received my car after the repair my FRM (or footwell module), a primary computer in my vehicle, was completely fried and was no longer functional. Upon my first drive of the car, there were some electronic features which were acting strange, and I attributed this to the fact that the battery was likely low or may have needed to be jump started due to the car sitting for such an extended period of time, which frequently results in some electrical glitches for a short period of time. I took the car on a drive to recharge the system, but the issues never resolved.What ACTUALLY happened, which I suspected and was able to confirm after taking my car in for a diagnostic and subsequent replacement of my FRM, was that the car s battery likely died and the team at Exoticar jump started it directly from the battery, rather than the designated jump-points under the hood. This resulted in a sudden current of charge to be sent into the battery and computers, causing the FRM module computers to fail after such a strong charge was applied after the car was dead (I.e. exactly why they have designated attachment points for jumper cables under the hood, in order to regulate current and prevent the battery and computers from being overloaded by the current of a jump start).I have called and left several voicemails with Exoticar, as well as sent several emails to them regarding this issue and at the time of this review (almost two weeks later) I still have received no response from them. Because of their lack of response and/or responsibility for the issue, I had to take my car in to get the FRM replaced and payed out of pocket to do so. Some might say that I should have waited for them to get back to me before going in for the repair, but I needed my car (keep in mind I was already without it for 7 weeks) and the car was not safely drivable whatsoever, due to the fact that the: turn signals, headlights, power windows, power mirrors, interior lights, and alarm system were all non-functional due to the broken FRM.To begin, a lack of understanding of how to jump start a car should not be something a repair shop struggles with. Particularly with the fact that my car is only a BMW, which is a relatively common vehicle to work on. How they are able to supposedly work on Porsche s, Ferrari s and Lamborghini s but struggle to jump start a BMW correctly is beyond me. But additionally, both a lack of recognition of the mistake they made prior to delivering the vehicle to me (despite a huge array of warning on lights on the dashboard of the car), as well as a total lack of response regarding the mistake they made after I have attempted to contact them 6 separate times is completely unacceptable for any repair shop. Extremely disappointed in this shop, and never did I think I would have to deal with a shop inflicting more damage on my car while it was in for repairs, yet here I am out of pocket for the repair bill and Exoticar refuses to respond to me. More action is going to be taken with regulatory business organizations to rectify this issue.

These guys REALLY know their stuff!! The main shop is all paint/body; the other shop is mechanical work by a top notch mechanic, Jon Kubran. Jon previously worked at Santa Monica Volkswagen; where he capitalized on all the training opportunities offered by VW; so he learned how to work on cars like Audis (including the R8), Lamborghini, Bentley & Ferrari.Exoticar is lead by Anthony & he is VERY customer service oriented and knowledgeable! Everyone at Exoticar is already very knowledgeable & work great as a team.I don't trust just anyone to work on my equipment. Jon recently changed the clutch in my '02 Audi TT & I am very happy with the quality of work, turn around time & communication.
