These guys do great honest work. It's such a relief to l know I can take my car somewhere trustworthy. I have had a few mechanics in LA try and take advantage, but not Electric Ave. Mike is a super nice guy and a straight shooter. He always charges a fair price. Also my turn around time has always been very fast. Love these guys.

The Team at Electric Avenue is simply the best. I've brought our RAV-4 hybrid here multiple times for tire repairs (thanks for all the nails, LA) and Mike has never charged me to patch them. Earlier this week, when I found a large screw embedded in the tire wall I knew just where to go. Even though the tire couldn't be patched, Mike was able to order a brand new tire and have it installed the same day! If an honest mechanic is worth their weight in gold, Mike and his team are definitely Palladium status!

The best spot to hit for Prius care in Los Angeles! Honest great people work there and they do an amazing job. I never feel like I m being overcharged and I always feel like I m being thoroughly taken care of.

Brought my Prius in for maintenance services that the dealer recommended, and Mike took care of everything for much more affordable prices. Mike arranged rides for me and the car was ready before I expected. I'll definitely be returning, and already recommended Electric Ave to a friend with a Prius.

Best knowledge and experience with BMW i3Even led me to 10yr covered warranty work the dealer owed me free. New battery, air bag, dash all free under extended warranty. Then over the years they have serviced everything else with speed and fairness.

I have a 2015 Chevy Spark EV and I did not want to get ripped off by a dealership service department again. I'd heard great things about this place so I called and Mike asked me to come in the next morning. When I arrived they immediately took my car. A couple of hours later they figured out why the windshield washer motor wasn't working (a fuse, they replaced) and they diagnosed that the intermittent warning light on my dash was a phantom code which they reset. They also checked and refilled my tires, checked both batteries and made sure the entire car was completely sorted out. All in a couple of hours at a price impossible to beat. This place is HONEST, the mechanics know exactly what they're doing and you can rest assured you will be treated with respect here and not ripped off. If you have a hybrid, EV or hydrogen car out of warranty, this should be your one and only mechanic. I'm so grateful I found them.

I ve never trusted a mechanic the way I trust Mike and his crew. They simply are the best. They take care of you, they take care of your car. Mike is a blessing in this world of car fixers. They work so hard and tirelessly to make sure your vehicle is ready and safe to drive in a timely manner. They even take the effort to clean it for you!! Talk about above and beyond service.

If you drive a hybrid, this is your must go to spot. Transparent, friendly service, feels like a family spot. Mike is always gracious and helpful. They always offer us an Uber somewhere while we wait for the car, and they usually wash it after an oil change as well. We get all our work done there and recently needed to replace a headlight. They did it in five minutes and didn t charge us at all since we are regulars. They checked the oil too, just to make sure everything was good. I asked them to show me how to do it myself in the future, which they did, but then insisted We come in anyway as they re happy to do it. Can t recommend it enough.

Outstanding customer service! I ve never been so wowed by an experience at an auto repair shop before. Fast and easy. I came in with a bad alternator on my Toyota matrix and they had it repaired and ready in the same day. Will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks to the team for your excellent service!

I was recommended Mike at Electric Ave by my friend who also had a 2nd generation Prius and I could not have been happier with the care, clarity, and quality of work that he and his team exhibited. I needed a check up before a long road trip the following day and he took care of my car immediately. He went over all the things that needed fixing and how to prioritize with my current budget. Will be going back to get the rest fixed ASAP. The prices are great and he really likes Priuses so I trust him not to tell me just to get a new car, which I appreciate because I also love my Prius.

The range estimator on my Chevy Bolt EV clearly was not working properly. So I got in touch with Mike at Electric Ave Silverglate. He very kindly offered to do a diagnosis of the problem at no charge. I brought the car in and his staff did the diagnosis. Although they could not fix the problem (for that I have to take it to a Chevy dealer), they did eliminate some potential causes of the problem. To do this at no charge was incredibly generous of Mike and his staff. Quite amazing in this day and age.

Mike is personable and got our Gen3 Prius fixed with a new water pump and coolant temperature sensor. The shop is tidy and clean. The shop was extremely busy when I first came by to have the car looked at but Mike took the time to do an initial investigation and fit us in to do the repairs a few days later. Really appreciate the stellar customer service and great mechanical work that allowed us to continue on our road trip. Would not hesitate to bring our car back for any service in the future!

Great shop for your Prius or other hybrid/electric vehicles. Mike is very friendly and will get you back on the road. I do most of my own maintenance and repairs when possible but when my Prius died in traffic, wouldn't start with the Red Triangle and the other dash lights on, I had to have it towed to a shop. They could have told me it was any number of things but were very honest. Had I towed it somewhere else I don't know if I would be so lucky. Highly recommend.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Brought my car in to get my catalytic converter replaced (mine was stolen). The folks at Electric Avenue took great care of my car! This is now my go-to auto shop. Mike and his associates are very kind, professional, and were always willing to answer any questions I had. Staff were very personable and the service was fast.I am updating this review after 2 years of excellent experiences with Electric Avenue Silverlake. I cannot recommend them highly enough - they always do excellent work, going above and beyond what was requested. A highlight was the time I went to pick up my car and discovered that I had left my wallet across town - staff graciously allowed me to take my freshly serviced car to get my wallet and return to complete payment. Mike always lets me know if my car is in need of additional maintenance, but I never feel pressured to add any additional services if I don't want to. And regardless of what I bring my car in for, it comes back washed. :)

Mike and his team are excellent. They are not only pleasant, but they are incredibly honest and good at taking care of your hybrid car. With your first visit, you are a part of Mike's extended family. Mike keeps a clean shop, his prices are extremely fair and reasonable, and his communication is the best! My 6-yr old Prius runs like a dream. I highly recommend Mike and his whole team, they are the best around!

Mike and his mechanics are professional and honest. My 2010 Prius runs great thanks to the service recommendations from Mike. 222k miles on the original battery! Electric Avenue has fair prices and they stand behind their work. I trust them completely with my Prius. The shop is also clean. I was recommended to Electric Ave by a friend a few years back, once I bought a hybrid....and I have never regretted taking his advice! Mike, the manager, has always provided the best customer service experience while I'm there, the best mechanics in town, and the best care of my car (you do know they wash the outside and inside of your car after every oil change, right?!). Mike, who runs Electric Ave., for hybrid cars, is truly the best and so pleasant. The service is impeccable, the prices are reasonable, and it's so clean you can eat off the garage floor. I know I'm well taken care of and trust them. Koko, the owner of all three auto shops, Electric Ave, High Tech Auto, and Sublime, is one of the kindest, smart, and most professional mechanics in LA. He is very generous in giving back to our community in Silver Lake. We have been going to all three of his shops for over ten years and never disappointed.

Great experience. 1st time customer, I came because the air stopped flowing in my car. Mike took care of me the same day, for a very reasonable price (lower than either of us expected). He took care of a Lyft dropping me off and picking me up, was attentive, warm, honest, the car was washed, and we joked about the origins of both our family names. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back whenever my Volt needs anything.

After having some bad experiences at Toyota of Hollywood, I found Electric Avenue. All the good reviews drew me. When my headlights stopped working, I called them, and Mike told me to bring my car in, and if the bulbs were out, he would replace them for FREE! So I brought my car in, and even though the shop was super busy, I left within 5 minutes with working headlights having paid NOTHING! He also checked my oil level to make sure it was good.This shop puts customers first, not money. If you ever need hybrid/electric car service, come to Electric Avenue. Mike is so courteous and kind, and the price is right. I will be returning!

The only Prius mechanic I trust in LA. Have tried so many other shops but Mike is the only guy who I can trust will get the job done properly and do it for a very fair price. He's very honest, very flexible and very knowledgeable. Definitely the place to go if you drive a hybrid!
