One of the ONLY mechanics that I trust in Los Angeles. Very fair, and not shady. I always appreciate his car maintenance advice. Does the work quickly and is good at communicating.He has worked on our Honda Civic, Toyota Sienna minivan and we plan to bring our Chrysler Pacifica to them as well.

This is the best mechanic ever. They don t try to overcharge you, are honest, and will let you know when you don t need Automative work. I ve been coming here for years and am so grateful for them!

Came to bring my car for an oil change. Duke, Ian and the tech Sam are very respectful and knowledgeable of what the car needs. Definitely recommend, also make sure you book ahead as they are by appointment as well.

Wow this place is amazing. I needed my splash guard repaired and it was handled promptly.Everyone was so friendly. I felt included because everything was explained to me. I was told the kind of damage there was, what would be done to repair it, and I was able to view the splash guard while they explained everything that was done.I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend you check it out.

I went to Duke Choi for years and then went somewhere else that was a little closer to my house. After my new place kept trying to talk me into services I didn't need, I went back to Duke Choi. And surprise, surprise - I didn't need any of the things the other auto place said I needed. Duke is honest and fair and I can always trust what he tells me about my car.Services: Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

Duke was terrific and did a great job replacing my engine. There wasn't as much as a fingerprint on the replacement engine. The turn around time was fast without any troubles. His staff is great as well. The experience was a good one for a not so good situation for me... Thank you Duke

Best mechanic place in town. They are professional, honest, friendly, reasonable as well. I will never go to any other place all my life. Duke is my auto guy!

I was referred to Duke Choi's from the next-door body shop, Mid City Collision. I am a customer of both and love them. Duke Choi's does more mechanical work and has saved me a ton of money in terms of labor and parts. I had a faulty transmission and they replaced it, but I had other suspension problems that compromised the new transmission, and they replaced the new one, subbing out my Camry transmission for a luxury, Lexus transmission at no charge.They really stand by their service 100%!Services: Transmission, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

I've been taking my '01 VW Golf here for a few months now, and I've had several repairs/replacements done here as well as my most recent oil change. They're very friendly, transparent on pricing, and honest, and they take the time to show you what's broken on your car. Definitely recommend.

These guys are honest and real about the work that needs to be done. Duke helped me diagnose a suspension problem I was having. Be honest with these guys and they will save you money on additional shop trips. I am going back to them to put on my 04' Miata Coilovers!

I met with Jay this afternoon,to talk about my old Chrysler PT Cruiser ( I know...right?). He was so professional and knowledgeable. He said I could bring in tomorrow morning, even though we know how busy Fridays are for mechanics in Los Angeles. I usually take my car to a shop across town, so I'm looking forward to a great business relationship supporting small businesses in the mid city/mid wilshire area.

Longtime devotee of Jim Matson and this man has continued the cult of automobile repair honesty and directness. If he can save you money he will. He will not overcharge you or make up false repairs. This is a trustworthy man.

Duke is great. Take your car to his shop if it needs service. He is honest and chargeds fair prices. I recommend his shop to everyone I know.

These guys are trustworthy, fair, and friendly. That's why I still go here even after they moved and then after I moved even farther away. I tried others that were closer for the convenience, but got charged an arm and a leg for things that weren't even an issue. These guys are the best.

This used to be Jim Matson's Auto Repair and I never went ANYWHERE else! So now I still don't go anywhere else :) Good, decent guys you can trust; and reasonable pricing. Thumbs up!
