I have taken both my cars to Choi's shop over the last 2 years. He was always honest and his team did great body and mechanical work. He was communicative and never tried to take advantage. He even recommended a couple times to not spend money on some repairs since my car was older. I definitely recommend Choi's shop!

Love Choi,He keep my daughter old 2004 car running until it couldn't. He's so nice and reasonable. Any little thing he can fix and doesn't charge extra fees.

extremely rude. i called to get a quote and he immediately said "you need to drop it off so we can look at it" and hung up immediately.I have pictures/videos of the damage.... and this thing called email.... It's 2024 - i should be able to send you pics/videos before spending a whole day driving in LA traffic just to compare prices.

I have had several cars worked on here and always receive the best service and restoration work here at the most reasonable prices. This is the first place I think of when I need work done even though it s a bit far from where I live. Highly recommend.

Choi is an amazing mechanic. I do not want to trust my car with anyone but him. I have been a lifelong customer for years and he has always taken care of me and all my friends and family who I have recommended to him. He offers me the best rates for the services he provides and always finishes my car in a timely manner. When you leave your car with Choi you can trust that your car is in good hands and you won't be back a week later with the same issue. Chois automotive is true a unexpected Gem. Truly had alot of issues with my car and within a matter of 2 days it was back in my hands before I even knew what was going on. Choi is great at what he does n truly he s not like any mechanic u just bring your car into and you worry even if they care. He puts real time and great work into his craft, he ll even help u out if you aren t able to get your car asap. Always recommend Chois.

I don't normally do reviews but Choi is so good that I have to show him some love. He is honest, fair, and respectful. Prices are very reasonable. You can always call ahead to make sure there's space for your car. He's made me a loyal customer

choi went above and beyond with my vehicle I went in for a dent repair; turns out he ended up repairing my whole car, not only did he do that but he grinned my wheels from hitting the curves. overall I was satisfied with my vehicle and I would and will recommend anyone there.

Choi went far and above to satisfy his customer. I had ongoing starting problems with my Jeep Liberty. He replaced all parts and electrical components they would contribute to the problem. He even suggested I take to the dealer for diagnosis and/or solution. Dealer s diagnosis was to replace a part Choi already replaced for 3x to cost. I took back to Choi with the info from the dealer. Choi said he had one last thing to try he did and the problem has finally been resolved! Kudos to Choi and his expertise.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

Went to Choi's for the first time to get my side mirror replaced on my car. Not only was the price much better than other shops around the area, but he also completed it in such a timely manner. Quality work was not sacrificed for the speed as it looked better than new and he perfectly matched my car's color which I didn't think could be done. Definitely recommend taking your car here!

Choi is the owner. He has been in business for years. He is fair, honest, and tells you like it is even if he prognosis is to NOT get repairs done because it's not worth it. Prices are VERY reasonable and competitive here. He does car diagnostics but do ask how long it will take IN ADVANCE because the site gets Super busy. So far he doesn't offer diagnostic services that Go To a site, you have to bring the auto to him. But it's still worth the service. He is a generational mechanic and takes care families for years.

If you want the best service and price, then you have to go to Choi! I have a Hybrid and my car stopped on the freeway. The experience was scary to say the least and Choi made it so much easier with quick and fast service. He made me feel so comfortable and got my car back to me pretty quick. I have looked all over for a good mechanic and I am so happy that I found a great place in my neighborhood! Choi is absolutely Amazing!!! He has served the community and my cars for over 15 years. He's the most honest and reasonable and respectful car expert EVER!!Choi replaced the transmission, alternator as well as fixed the side frame and lights on my Ford Explore, he also has taken care of the air condition in my Mercedes GL 450 I trust no one but Choi with both of my cars needs. Went in because my truck was leaking oil , i thought it was a gasket but turns out my prior oil change was not done correctly. Charge me 40 and no leak. Got a check engine light on but he was so busy i am just gonna go back next week. Good, honest and not expensive either. I found my new shop.

When I moved into the neighborhood in 2002 I was looking for an honest mechanic that would help me keep my car in good shape since I need it for work and I put a lot of miles on it. I found Choi because AAA Auto Club had signaled him out for his excellence and he has been my mechanic ever since. He is always very up front about the cost of things and he will make recommendations so that I can keep my car in good working order. I appreciate his knowledge and skill and I feel so lucky to have found a mechanic that I trust completely when it comes to keeping my car in good working order. A week or so ago my battery died and when AAA came to give me a jumpstart they didn't have the type of battery I needed so I immediately drove to see Choi. He told me he could get the battery but it was an unusual type so he'd have to work on getting it. He had to hunt the battery down, but he did find one and had it brought over. This took some time and I'd decided to wait for my car since I wasn't working, but Choi gave me regular updates so that I wasn't just waiting with no idea of what was happening. He is very thoughtful like that and he really values his customers. I take really good care of my car and I know that with Choi's help I will be able to get a lot of life out of my vehicle.Services: Tires, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

I had just moved to the area, and was scoping for a place to get my 100,000 mile service done. Choi was extremely professional, informative, and friendly - plus the pricing was very reasonable. My car is driving like new again! I've been with Choi since 1980. The services has always been great. The price is good as well. I am lucky to have not only his friendship but a great mechanic. I take my KIA to Choi for a second opinion always. The price is really reasonable . The KIA dealer is to HIGH. A person will feel good taking their automobile to his shop. Also when I purchase a car. I was so lucky to end up at Choi's Auto Repair after no one had room or experience to work on my F250 super duty 4x4 pick up. Front end and steering damaged after being hit by another truck. They made all repairs my truck looks new again. New to the location nice clean facility, my new Auto guy. You will be HAPPY.

My VW Jettas transmission oil pan broke after hitting a dip and the transmission wouldn t shift into any gear. I had AAA tow it to his shop. After a week of sitting at his shop, he refused to work on the car and insisted that I buy another car because the Jetta would cost too much money to fix. I bought another car then took the VW for a second opinion and they fixed it for less than $2000. He flat out lied, he never even looked at my car! All it needed was a new Valve body, transmission oil pan and a radiator. Which turned out to be a simple and cheap fix! Choi is a liar!

I came to get my car fixed so it could pass smog. They were able to fix the problem and also fixed some other small problems on my car no extra cost! The upfront estimate was the same as what I paid. Also I felt very respected. I for sure plan to return for car service her and recommend to others.

Choi has been my mechanic for the last 8yrs. I not only bring my car for service but also my Mother & Grandmother s. It s often hard to find a reputable mechanic who genuinely cares about your car & not looking for a quick buck. Choi has made it so easy for me to trust him & his recommendations. He has completed work from simple oil changes to the expensive transmission replacement. I was heartbroken to learn he was no longer at his previous location on Crenshaw & 52nd because his work ethic is impeccable. It was like a family member had passed but luckily we ran into each other at Ralph s & here we are, back like he never left. Hands down the BEST all around mechanic in town. If I could give him 10 stars I would.
