Between now and when i write the full review, i have a very simple piece of advice for anyone reading this.Call Carotech Auto, ask Gary when you can drop off your car and then trust him and his expert team to fix your car properly, for an extremely fair price and with the best warranty I've encountered from any auto mechanic shop in my life.Do not bother wasting time reading other reviews. This place is absolutely without compare the best auto repair shop in LA.Thank you Gary.For those who may be wondering, I found Carotech through a Google search and spoke to Gary for the first time about 72 hours ago. He suggested i drop my car off Wednesday. I just picked it up today (Thursday 11/9/2023) and the work done on it was exceptional in all respects.I'll never go to another auto mechanic as long as i remain in Los Angeles.But to be clear, prior to 3 days ago, i knew nothing about Gary or his shop. And my car had been neglected for the past 6+ years. It was also filthy and the engine compartment was an embarrassment to even see.

Carotech is an absolute gem in the world of auto repair! I cannot express my gratitude enough to Gary, and Jesus, who worked on my car, for their exceptional service. I found this place due to its high number of 5-star reviews and decided to give it a shot. They went above and beyond to diagnose and fix an issue with my car that even my dealership wasn't able to figure out.Their dedication and expertise truly shone through as they spent two whole days tirelessly running tests to pinpoint the exact problem. Gary's communication throughout the entire process was outstanding, keeping me informed every step of the way and ensuring that I felt confident in their work.Not only did they diagnose and fix the issue, but they also took the extra step to detail my car and wash the entire engine bay, leaving it looking better than when I first drove it off the lot. This was truly a delightful surprise.Thanks to Carotech, my car is running flawlessly again - and I can't imagine taking it anywhere else for repairs. From now on, Carotech has earned my trust and my business. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of genuine, top-notch auto repair in Los Angeles. Five stars all the way.

I replaced my tires, filters, and brakes at Carotech and they did a wonderful job. Service was quick and professional and great overall. My car was cleaned from the inside out including the engine part. I highly recommend this place for all your car service/repair needs and especially Gary who was very patient kind and professional with me.

I never thought I would feel so passionate about an auto repair service, but Carotech and Gary are just that great!I recently had a complete brake service done, and Gary and his team exceeded all expectations. As someone who knows next to nothing about cars, I m so grateful to have finally found a mechanic who takes pride in, not only their work, but in treating their customers fairly and respectfully. This place is amazing! They took amazing car of my car with a fair cost. My battery was beyond repair and they managed to bring my car back from the dead! Not only that they hand washed and buffed the car. It s never looked better!Thank you so much, Carotech!

My cars engined started to lag after uphill driving through the grapevine, and then the check engine light came on. I took my car in on a Friday to get it checked out and got a diagnosis the following Monday super quick return time! I ended up needing a new turbo. The repair cost was reasonable and Gary did a great job at explaining everything in the repair/pricing. I got my car back way faster than expected (Thursday morning due to shipping of parts)! Overall this is a great spot to go to for car troubles. The mechanics even explained to me what went wrong and I was able to understand (not a car person)! Took my car here a few months ago for repair under warranty. First off he kept my car for 7 days. No updates and I had to keep calling to even figure out what was going on. The sound on my car was loud and very distinct. He came up with the diagnosis of issue with the axels which was covered. Okay fine, they do the repairs and then he calls me a tells me I also need brakes and new rotors (which aren t under warranty) He quoted me $1632 for that.Now here I am months later and the sound is still there. Come to find out it was always one of the rotors that made that sound and my brakes were fine. Also quoted me double what other mechanics in the area charge. Do not trust this place. I m not sure if they just want to scam the insurance or what but it s dishonest. I m not the only one this happen to look at the reviews.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I couldn't recommend this place more! I called Carotech first thing on a Monday morning thinking I would need to replace my battery. It had been a while since I'd taken my car in to a real mechanic, so figured there would be some other things to fix as well. Gary and his team were very transparent about what my car needed and, since it had been so long since I had any work done, there was some extra love needed. The diagnostic reports sent via text/email are so helpful and Gary is honest about what work you really need done. My car was ready to be picked up on the early end of Gary's estimate and it's driving better than ever!I'm so thankful to have found my new car mechanic!

What shall I say more than what is already siad in Gary and his team!!! They are just as amazing and honest as I have never dealt with any like that before for my car. Gary is a nice, respectable and a friendly guy that took me easily through every little step with my Altima. He called me after the initial inspection to stand on the issues and asked me to come on-site to show me everything he pointed out that needed real attention. He never sells you anything you will not need URGENTLY. He cares for your car as if it is his own and really cares for your -and others- safety on road! Unfortunately my car did require quite a bunch of stuff to he done! He gave me a really fair price (despite I'm still complaining of it :-D) ... but no kidding it is very fair for the amount of job he did and I bet it is very reasonable compared to other auto shops...add to that his HONESTY which I really have to highlight. I'm back on the asphalt today after 4 days of work on my car. I love how my car drives now and really appreciate the work Gary and his team did. They even offer you 24 months/24,000 miles warranty on any parts installed by them in your car.Bottom line, I will never deal with any autoshop other than Carotech automotive.I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking incredible service, honesty, and reasonable prices.Thank you Gary!

Gary and his team at Carotech are truly excellent. They are clear and up front about their process, and they are straight forward on possible solutions and costs. Their service is fast, reliable and reasonably priced. They fixed things right the first time. I will definitely use them again, and I will definitely recommend to my friends and family for their auto repair and service needs. Gary is an absolute legend. I have a 2011 VW Jetta that s seen some better days. It needed a long list of repairs and some cosmetic damage like a smashed headlight. The VW dealership tried to charge me crazy prices, but not Carotech. Gary and his team did a full inspection of my car and sent me a report which included detailed descriptions and photos of each location in the car. They also helped me prioritize the most pressing repairs based on my personal needs. Their pricing is great and their customer service is amazing. Their team truly goes above and beyond. To put it in perspective, I had this smashed headlight for a few months. I tried getting the dealership to fix it and they wouldn t. I called my old mechanic on the east side of LA, they refused. Gary and his team had my entire list of repairs fixed within a couple days AND they fixed the headlight AND cleaned the other headlight to match AND they washed my car so it looks brand new. They also got it done before the long weekend and communicated progress with me throughout the entire process. I ll definitely be returning! Great people, great prices, great service. I feel loved. Carotech is an excellent auto repair shop in every respect. Gary will walk you through the repair process from the beginning when you drop off your car, keep you updated with texts and photos and give you options along the way. Gary Kasbarian at CAROTECH Automotive was an absolute pleasure to work with, respectful, polite, courteous, accommodating, knowledgeable and professional.He was waiting and prepared to service my car upon arrival and understandably gave himself a four hour window to complete my car, his technicians were actually completed in one hour and fifteen minutes; the only downside is that I had walked to Beverly Hills for breakfast and my car was ready before I got to the restaurant.My mechanic of 23 years had recently retired and I was concerned about finding another who is trustworthy and we could establish a great rapport and Gary seems to meet my requirements.It took a couple of weeks to get an appointment which is always a good sign and after my experience with doing business with CAROTECH I can certainly understand why he's so busy.

I ve taken my 2011 Toyota Corolla here about 4 times in the past year for various servicing (more than just an oil change). I ve always received excellent customer service, and the owner was always patient in explaining what the problem was with the car, how they would fix the car, and the cost estimate. Cars and car repairs are never cheap; however, I m glad when I go here, I m getting the best deal and a working car back.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Best mechanic I've been to in Los Angeles!After years in Los Angeles and struggling to find a good mechanic I am incredibly happy to have found Carotech. Excellent customer service, very informative and explained step by step exactly what was being done to my car. Very fair affordable price as well which I greatly appreciate.I took my car in for a broken AC and it was fixed within the same day! They even detailed my car and walked me though what was done and replaced when picking up the car. Gary was kind enough to give me a discount as well. There are plenty of auto repair shops in LA, but it s hard to find one that is really trustworthy and reliable. Carotech is worth your business. I ve been coming to Carotech for all my automotive needs for a few years now, and they have never disappointed. Always professional, and upfront about their pricing and what my car needs. I really appreciate that they send me pictures and videos of a potential problem anytime they find something, so I have all the information and I can make the best decision for the maintenance of my car. I ve never felt like I was being hard sold to, or talked down to, which as a young women, can be hard to find from a mechanic. Gary and his team is the best, they ve treated my car for everything from an oil change to moderate damage after an accident and everything in between, and always with friendly, communicative service. Highly recommend!

I had problems with my brakes squeaking and my parking brake. The mechanic fixed my car in a timely manner and sent me pictures of all the problems. The service was great and the employees were friendly. Only complaint is that it seemed a tiny bit expensive. Ok so I know this will sound fake, but I have maybe posted one other review for services. But Gary and his team at Autotech were great and deserving of a call when you are looking for auto repair service. Gary was on point with his communication with us and was a straight shooter when it came to the repairs needed.
