The auto body shop has friendly staff and work on older model cars, which is rare with many shops when payment is from insurance companies. The trade off is that pressure to turnover the vehicles seems high, which could lead to quality control issues. I had to leave my car after being told it was ready even though it was clear that the work was not complete. Also, the whole communication with the shop was an issue: slow return of text messages, employees not having access to certain customer files, and even while I was there, employees were telling customers to call back when their assigned technician was out of the office. Better cross-training and one-stop customer service training could probably help this issue.

Had my car repaired through an insurance claim they took very good care of my car and kept me informed. I was happy to see my car like new and in a short matter of time! Definitely keeping this location in mind for further necessities.

EDIT: A month later, Regional Manager Jim (who was never even contacted by Neil), finally got word of what happened and decided to take full responsibility for their actions, ordered the parts and agreed to repair my car.Although this was an extremely stressful situation and it took over a month to resolve, I truly appreciate Jim being honorable and thus I edited my previous rating from 1 star to 3 stars(Previous review below)Repaired my rear bumper ~7-8 months ago and guaranteed at the time that all the work they do has a lifetime guarantee so long as there is no further damage caused by another collision they will repairWhile driving on the freeway I noticed the back right side of my bumper flailing in the wind behind me and when I pulled over to check I saw that clearly the bolts on the rear right side of my car had come loose on their own and as i kept driving the gravitational force from the wind began to rip off my bumper entirely (pictures below)The manager of this facility ignored my initial 4-5 calls about this and after I finally showed up at the facility weeks later he immediately began claiming he s not sure he believes my story about what happened and insisted that bumpers do not just fall off After he told me he would call his manager and get back to me, something he did not do and I was forced to call back a week later,he then claimed they had fixed the car over a year ago (when in reality it s been 8 months) and that if it were in the first couple of months they would considered making good on their lifetime guarantee which apparently, doesn t even last an entire yearThe manager Neil has no qualms being blatantly dishonest with you about the time frame orcompletely fabricating his own version of events where my car MUST have been hit, even though there are no signs of damage whatsoever, nor did he present any evidence of his claim and keeps insisting I must not have noticed my vehicle being hit and condescendingly mocks any other alternativebecause otherwise he would have to consider taking responsibility for the poor job his location did when repairing my vehicleNeil, the manager I am describing, is a slimy and dishonest company man who cares nothing about the work its facility is responsible for or the guarantees made by the business, and if those guarantees inevitably make him look poorly to corporate, he will make any and every excuse to not help you.Based on my experience it s fair to conclude the entire company is based off a claim they do not even attempt to make good on, it s just another marketing tactic from another greedy corporation who doesn t keep their word and refuses responsibilityIf you are ever rear ended like me or get in an accident, and your insurance lists this location,go ANYWHERE but here or you will risk having to pay out of pocket for an accident you didn t cause, just like meThank me later

Assisted me with my first car accident and I m so happy I went with them. Extremely communicative throughout the whole process, made sure I understood the repairs and kept me posted on progress. Would recommend to anyone! Greg helped me out with my 2021 Camry and it could not have been a smoother experience! Thank you to the whole team at the Hollywood location!

The shop is large and very busy and you would think your vehicle will be there for ever. But I was impressed by the time frame and quality of work this shop offered. I got my car back in about 12 days just before Christmas. I am very satisfied with the effortless process of the repairs and how they keep me up to date through out the repairs. My thanks to the shop rep Caitline Ruas for thanking care and dedication in her work.

I would really not like to have to write this review, but this absolute SAGA is so ridiculous that I'm compelled to.Firstly, I had my car broken into at the end of August 2023 (8/31) in Los Feliz - someone smashed the rear window on my hatchback. Like a good adult, I called Geico, filed a claim, and scheduled an appointment at their authorized repair shop -- this Caliber Collision. Check.I dropped my car off there after speaking with Greg, who let me know since it was close to Labor Day weekend, my car would be ready on Tuesday/ maybe Wednesday.Great - no problem. Tuesday (9/5) rolls around. No phone call. Wednesday (9/6) rolls around. No phone call all day, so I call them in the evening. Only then was I notified that they were still waiting for the glass to arrive and that they would let me know when my car would be completed.Monday, 9/11, finally arrived with no communication, so I called again. Greg then informs me (to be fair, he did apologize) that they installed used/scratched glass for my rear window. TBH, he was just as shocked as I was that the mechanics installed this sub-par quality of glass without checking. I asked him if it was "normal" practice to install used glass, to which he said, "Used, yes. Scratched, no." He then states he can request new glass, but it's going to need to be approved by Geico.I call Geico. My claim specialist sounded just as shocked as I was. She's very concerned about the "multiple red flags" she's hearing in this story. She says she is not only approving me for brand new glass but also extending my rental and giving them a call herself. Within 15 minutes of getting off the phone with Geico, Greg from Caliber Collision calls me, letting me know I ve been approved for new glass and can pick up my car to drive while they wait for the new glass to come in.After picking up my car and driving it home, I opened the hatchback trunk. To my surprise, my hatchback door now sounds like a FULL-ON RAIN STICK. Open it. Tiny shards of glass fall within the frame. Close it. Tiny shards of glass fall back within the frame. This is Nuts. I called Caliber to see if they could remedy the situation and head back over there. After a few hours, I pick up my car again. It's better and sounds less like a mid-west thunderstorm and more like a slight spring mist. Whatever. I can wait for the new glass to come in and fix it then.I DID NOT GET MY CAR FIXED UNTIL NOVEMBER. No one called me to keep me updated. I called myself once a week, eventually calling every other week. Cliff, the manager, even assured me that someone would call me, which did not happen on more than one occasion. All I wanted was an update courtesy call. When I finally did get the call that the new glass was in, I dropped my car off, and they installed it. Upon getting home, I notice that the slight sound of glass rain is still present, a STRANGE BLUE TOOL in my car, AND A PIECE OF MY LIFT GATE (hatchback door) IS NOW MISSING !?!So, I turn around and head back. They assure me that yep, that s our tool , then call Cliff over to address the glass and missing door piece. After a discussion amongst themselves, they realize that the only option to get the glass out of the door is to replace my entire hatchback door. HAHAHAHA.I m flabbergasted at this point, but I ll just live with the glass. BUT - I do want the missing piece of my car back. Cliff then assured me that they would order the part and (you guessed it!) let me know when it came in.Fast forward to December 17th. I called Caliber to see if the part had arrived and spoke with Cliff, only to find out that the part that was ordered was the wrong one. Upon ordering the correct part, I was told that it would be there by January 2. I did call on the 2nd, only to be told they d let me know. IT IS NOW JANUARY 27TH, AND I M STILL MISSING A PIECE OF MY CAR. No one has called me.

Caliber Hollywood is top notch. Their work is impeccable and the turn around time on my car was quicker than expected. I'll definitely go back if I ever have another need.

Serviced the car for repair of rear bumperLeft the car one morning and they never contacted me about the status of the repair, despite my calls and messages that they never returned.Although I was monitoring the car with my app on the phone, I saw the car was using a lot of fuel and suddenly the mileage on the car showed a lot and unexplained too many miles. (for testing the alignment...? maybe) I called and called and nobody returned any of my messages either. Finally after 2 weeks I just went there to the shop to check what was going on with my car The adjuster said "it will be ready this afternoon. it's in another location being tested and finished"yes, the car was ready that afternoon and a few days after washing my car and inspected it, I discover a few mistakes on the paint.... (rear driver's seat) passenger door sill was oversprayed with clear coat paint.. and chipped !! ..portion a black portion of base of part can be seen and feels like a sloppy handling the side of door next to bumper when painting or spraying ...the replaced bumper was also oversprayed (on the left side)with clear coat and small bubbles on a small size portion of the replaced bumper ( brand new bumpers have to be sprayed also??)Also the driver's window tint film is scratched .... ...In general this painting job was performed by someone not careful that adjacent parts of the car were damaged and that doesn't show quality and performance from this shop...Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I was driving in the area and parked on Hollywood Blvd. My car would not start!! This store manager came out and jumped my car for me, allowing me to enjoy the rest of my day and avoid missing work. Chivalry and professionalism isn't dead!! Thanks so much Cliff

They seem to work well with insurance and know what they're talking about. Area is very crowded but as long as you can get in the driveway to drop off you should be good. Waiting to see how the repairs look.

My car was hit and I was sent to Caliber by the persons insurance. Caliber knowingly returned my car to me with internal damage and I had to take it to a second shop on my own to get it fully fixed. Negligent and shameful, overall terrible experience don't go here.

Was sent here from Geico, took my van in in driving conditions had minor damage on right side dents but no broken pieces but the some glass damage .After 10 days I received a call stating that I had to come pick up my van because they would not be able to repair it due to prior damage. My van had never been involved in any accidents. They turned my van in horrible condition and missing parts. One of the headlights was broken. I'll update if Greg contacts me back. Basically they took the whole bumper and headlights off and that's how it was turned in to me.

Was sent here by USAA to have my drivers door repaired. Couple weeks later I was informed by USAA that they would not repair the door and I either could keep the car or have it totaled. I decided to pick it up. When I arrived there was a giant hole in the side of the door and my bumpers and lights had been removed. They asked me to come back in a few days and my car would be put back together. Once I picked my car up and got back home I realized my turn signal lights were no longer blinking and all of my chargers and charging box had been stolen. 3-4 charges, adapters and a large portable charger. I called and asked a manger about the missing items and was told that I could bring my car back for them to look inside. My car was spotless when i dropped it off and I looked everywhere before giving them a call. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope they d give me a call and say they had been found but it never happened.

Awful craftsmanship. My car was there for over a month. Still missing emblems and have electrical issues they are denying is their issue. Everything worked great before they touched it; would've rather had a working vehicle with minor panel damage. Crazy run around. The second time I picked my car up; trash and nonsense all over my passenger seat and all the broken/ bent trim they tore of my car is still in the back where they left it. Super unprofessional, poor communication, and poor attitude.

I have a 2005 Toyota Matrix. I was sent here by AAA because their driver had struck my parked car. The estimate I got for repairing the front bumper, hood and front driver's side panel was just over 2K, which sounded too good to be true. I tried to schedule the repair and they REFUSED to do it. It seems like they thought my car wasn't worth repairing so they low balled me then refused to do the work when I called them on it. I wouldn't trust them if I were you.

This shop took the best care of me after I was in a car accident that left my driver s door smashed in, and the window unable to go up. They fixed the window for free to secure the car for parking before insurance even accepted the claim. They then handled things with the insurance company with ease, did a beautiful job on the bodywork, and followed up to make sure there were no issues. Would 1000% recommend.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Upped my rating, the took care of all of the issues. Took my car here after it was rear ended, They are super busy and came highly recommended but there were several issues that were not fixed, or completed. Brought the car back, tthey apologized for the inconvenience old they would take care of it no problem.I felt confident that they would but they havent followed up or answered texts or returned my call. . Upsetting since I believed them when they said that the quality of the repairs was not the norm and they seemed eager to correct it. Time will tell, but even having to type this is more time out of my life than I should have to spend to get something done correctly.Service: Body & Trim

My car was involved in a parked hit and run. Geico told me to bring it here. I took it in, they replaced the headlight but the new installed headlight had a crack. I told before I drove off, they told me to take the car and they ll call me once they get a new headlight. 5 months later, I haven t received a call or heard anything from them.Services: Painting, Body & Trim
