Extremely helpful, fair, and transparent in their evaluation of your vehicle, as well as options moving forward. They were more than happy to suggest alternatives with other shops when something was outside of their wheelhouse. Even with a simple ask, they far exceeded expectations. Not to mention they were extremely kind across the board, and easy to talk to. They took their time to explain everything in detail.

B&G are the most reputable mechanic shops on the west side. John and his team members refer to other shops when they know they cannot get the job done effectively or efficiently & have always been really honest every time I ve come for help.The team at B&G, or whenever I ve worked with John, makes a point to give referrals of reputable places. He also makes sure you name drop B&G when getting in touch with these other shops so they know not to mess around with you as well ;)As a woman, it s hard to find mechanics that wont try to take advantage of you. I will always support these guys in business, they truly exceed expectations. I always refer anyone I know to this shop because of what great experiences I ve had with them. Cannot recommend enough.Thank you B&G !!!

B&G is a fast, efficient and affordable mechanic. I am somewhat picky about where I take my car so I spent a lot of time researching where to go when I moved the west LA area. I was very happy to find that B&G lives up to their reviews. I dropped my car off early, they were there on time gave me a clear estimate and finished the work within a couple hours.B&G will definitely be my go to shop as long as I'm on the west side.

I had the absolute best experience here. Very reasonably priced services with speedy turnaround time. Dolly and Scott are knowledgeable, honest, kind and courteous, and as you may know it s increasingly more difficult to come by people like them these days. I have used Baizer & Grimmett for YEARS with multiple vehicles. They are not only exceptional mechanics, caring for every piece of equipment on every make and model. But they are also efficient and communicative, as well as fair and competitive in pricing. Even more importantly, they are caring and kind. They will listen to your concerns and work with you to resolve issues from beginning to end. I wish I could keep this Westside secret to myself, but this shop deserves every appointment that comes their way. Do yourself a favor and call them today!

THESE PEOPLE ARE THE BEST!I used to go to the same mechanic all the time down in Torrance, but since moving here I just didn't know where to go because it is hard to find someone to trust.The reviews for this place are true. They never take advantage of you, even if you lack auto knowledge. They charge great prices, explain everything, and are just lovely people! What more can you ask for! My wife have gone multiple times with out two cars, and everytime, fast, affordable, honest, and awesome! Every time I need their help the team members take the time to investigate and explain the repairs we need. John is my "go to" guy for all my auto needs. His prices are very fair and he is quick and thorough. He's also a great emergency guy. Recently, I found out both my brake lights were out. I dropped by and he replaced them in about 5 minutes. My experience with John and B&G could not have been better. I had an issue with the undercarriage cover of my car and needed to have it fixed very quickly. I searched for repair shops nearby and the reviews here seemed very positive and so I quickly drove to B&G, where I happened to see John, the owner, and asked him if there was anything that could be done. It was a very busy Friday afternoon and I could tell everyone in the shop was working incredibly hard. John, very reluctantly, explained how busy they were (surely a good sign of their reputation) and directed me to a shop that could take me on such short notice. I was very thankful for him suggesting another shop that could help me out. He seemed very pained that he had to turn me away though, and as I was about to leave, John motioned for me to wait and said he would be right back. He came back 2 minutes later and said to pull my car around the back! Before I knew it, the issue was completely fixed and my car like new. I was unbelievably grateful that they not only took me on essentially no notice but also had it fixed within minutes. I was really taken aback by John's kindness and before I left he also gave me some kind words of advice with regard to my future endeavors. It was such a positive experience and something I will always remember. Im so glad I decided to come to this shop and I will certainly refer it to anyone in need of a quality, family-owned automotive repair shop that seems to really care for their customers. If you have an issue with your car, bring it to Baizer & Grimmett. I have gone to them a few times and they always provide excellent service and fair prices. I highly recommend them and have nothing but good things to say about my experiences.

The folks over at B&G are amazing. I was recommended to them by another shop and when I called they were extremely helpful. Took me in that same day and helped me with an exhaust hanger.The mechanic that helped me out was extremely knowledgeable and a funny guy! I HIGHLY recommend giving them your business as they truly care about the customer and their needs

Not one for reviews but it's always hard to find a mechanic you can trust in a new city, John was upfront with the pricing, didn't push unnecessary work, and did an excellent job on my brakes, timing belt, and power steering job. I've brought my car here when the alternator went out, and they were great - they recommended a good tow truck company, and replaced the alternator quickly at a reasonable price. I've kept coming back since! The owner is super knowledgeable and friendly, and explains what's going on with your car, which as someone who's not a car guy is much appreciated.

Definitely the best shop I've seen anywhere around here. We brought in the wrong parts (rear struts) twice, from our own suppliers. They took the wheels off and worked with us until we got the right ones. They even rotated our tires, because of a pulling problem with unmatched tread designs), for no extra charge. They had us in and out with an appointment. John was great.

John and Scott came highly recommended, and they did not disappoint. The entire team at B&G is honest, efficient, and extremely competent at what they do. They did amazing work on my Toyota Camry 2010. After 2 years of searching for a go-to shop, I have finally found my place. Highly recommend!

My mom has been servicing her car here for decades and when I started driving I also started bringing my car here. Great service & very helpful team! My mom and I wouldn't take our cars anywhere else. Experienced and trustworthy mechanics. Thanks to the team for always taking care of our cars. We appreciate you. I can t say enough positive things about Scott and the team here; I wish there were 6 stars to give! After two other shops were unable and unwilling to diagnose my check engine light, Scott was extremely thorough in checking everything possible and staying in regular contact with me. He s probably the fairest and most hardworking mechanic I ve ever met. Highly recommend bringing your car here and working with Scott!

John saved me big the other day. I am a younger female who knows zero about cars. I was getting gas and went to start my car and it wouldn t start. Tried to jump it and nothing. In a panic I Randomly called B&G because it was close and not only did John come get my car running but he then replaced my battery in 15 minutes and only charged me for the battery. He is the kindest man and I will never take my cars anywhere else. God bless!Service: Battery

I recently moved into the area and purchased a vehicle. The car had a leak so i looked up the best reviewed Shop in the area. B&G came up and I gave them a call. They got me in within a week, found the problem and fixed it. They communicated extremely well with what the problem was and what it would take to fix it and cost. Great shop, customer service and affordable. Would definitely recommend.
