This place is great! The oil change was affordable and the mechanic was super friendly and helpful. He even cleaned my front headlights as a bonus. He knew a lot about my car, and I appreciate that he gave me a range of miles for coming back to get my next oil change rather than trying to get me in as soon as possible. I will definitely be coming back!

This place is honestly...AWESOME! I thought it wouldn't be that great cuz it isn't the prettiest repair shop but now I get what they mean by "don't judge a book by its cover". The owner here is so nice, kind, and reasonable. He speaks honestly and doesn't trick you in paying for more parts or repairs. He gives you a very very reasonable price and in my knowledge it was the cheapest of 7 repair stores I called before here. The other shops just charged me for literally every service fee and every single look up but American Best Auto Repair does not do that. He only tries to help and believe me this place is the way to go!!!! It has the best services. Just trust me and try it out.

They are not honest!!! There was some noise in my steering. They just checked too fast and told me that i should replace the pump and the price should be $800. ??? I asked why do I need to replace they could not answer me just said that the problem should be that. I left the shop and went to another one with more reviews, and they checked everything and told me that is because there was not oil inside. So they just put the oil and that s it. No more noise!!! Do you know how much was that? NOTHING!!!! Just $20....

@Luiza Cal�ada If your going to leave a comment make sure it's the right repair shop first... This area consists of two different businesses. The one on the right has more than one employee...therefore fits the description of your pronouns "them". In the other hand, the left small business which is the real American Best Auto Repair Shop....the owner doesn't have a team he works alone. So next time I would appreciate it if you could first know correctly before publicizing fake information. I am a customer of this place for over 15 years and had no problem what so ever. I encouraged all my friends and family to come as well...so this place is "honest" and has been for many years. Before going to him I went to other places and all the other repair shops within la and ktown, BUT ALL OF THEM played with me and was trying to charge me two times the actual pay rate...so if you really want an "honest" and great service repair mechanic I highly suggest you go to this shop. And the good thing about this place other than him being honest and reasonable pricing is that you can make an appointment and you don't need to. But work perfectly so I go whenever I need to and he's usually always there.
