Huge thank you to 29th Street Auto Center.I've been in LA for 3 years, and have had trouble keeping my car clean. The notoriously hard water had accumulated spots on my windows, making everything hard to see.26th was recommended by my mechanic, and they did an absolutely phenomenal job. They cleaned my Subi top to bottom and put such a perfect polish on, looks like I just rolled off the showroom floor. They even cleaned off the exhaust tips and the bike rack!I'm highly impressed with the job and attention to detail, I was hard pressed to find even a little bit of dust in a crack. Someone even found a glove I thought I'd lost and put it in the door for me.I will be a repeat customer in the future, I am one happy person today.

I had my car washed and the interior cleaned. It was a brand new vehicle when I picked it up. Drove from Vancouver Canada to LA, 1200 miles of dirt and bugs on the wind shield. The employees did an amazing job. Super friendly and it was a fantastic experience. Jackie (sp) was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended this location for a car wash and interior clean. Very happy Canadian customer.

A screw in my tire had put a damper on my day, and I needed to get it fixed pretty quickly. I called 26th St Automotive because they are close to where I live, and they were so incredibly friendly and helpful that I didn t even bother shopping around more- these were the people I wanted to give my business. When I arrived, everyone else I encountered was equally as fantastic. Despite being very busy, they fit me in and still had my tire repaired quickly, and for a good price. I would definitely come here again, and I wholeheartedly recommend anyone else to try them as well.Service: Tires

Good: I appreciated the prompt service when I took my car for a tire patch (+).Bad: However, the price of $60 for single patch was twice the average cost (-), and they forgot to put back the valve caps (-), which was disappointing attention for this cost. Tire is still deflating (-), so seems like I just wasted my time and money.After the review owner connected with me and suggested to check it once again, or return money if they won't be able to fix it. I consider this as (++), however I didn't get more time to do a second trip, later I just changed all tires all together.

For $60, they successfully (so far) repaired my tire that had picked up a nail and was leaking. I made an appointment to bring the car in before 9:30, at their instruction, so they could "get to it right away." I needed to pick it up before my wife went to work in a few hours. When I called at noon before heading out to pick it up, they said they were just about to put the tire back on. I didn't look at the tire when I picked it up, but the next day I discovered the valve cap was missing. Overall, it was a pleasant, efficient experience.Service: Tires

I had both front wheel brake pads and discs replaced at 26th Street Auto Service.All communications with the team were seamless. The point of contact was always available and response times were immediate. They were able to answer all of my questions and deliver a quote right away.The manager even gave me a great price in order to accommodate my needs.For the actual pads and discs they used top name brands that are above industry standards.The actual repair and replacement was done in less than 4 hrs. And I was able to pick up my car that same afternoon, right after getting off work.Great service. Fast and efficient. Great communication. Great price. 26th Street Auto Center is in our neighborhood and we've used them for year for various incidental car repairs. They recently switched from being affiliated with Union76 to Sinclair and in addition to good service, the price of gas is lower. More than a review, I wanted to say thank you to the whole service team for bringing attention where and when it's needed. They give a great service. They are attentive and well-mannered. Always positive. Always solves every problem with the shortest waiting period. I've never had an issue with their services. If I could, I would even way higher than just five stars.

Exceptional ! Robert, Richard & David did a pre-purchase inspection for me today and helped me avoid a catastrophe. Robert is a hell of a nice guy and answered ALL of my questions and gave me really useful advice. TRUST ME, if you want honest advice before committing and buying an used car, go to these guys . Absolute legends !Just to add, they work on an appointment basis. I was also 20 minutes late and they could have turned me away - they did not even mention me being late once ( not encouraging being late, just highlighting the fact that they were considerate ).

These people are absolutely OUTSTANDING! THE VERY BEST!We have a 2017 Subaru Outback. One of its low beam headlights went out and so I decided to replace both of these headlights.I went to the local Subaru dealer and was told that the only way to do this was to replace the entire headlight assemblies because the low beam bulbs couldn't be removed and replaced. I was given a cost estimate for one assembly which was over $1,050. That meant that just for this part alone for two headlights I would be paying about $2,100. And then there'd be labor. I was looking at something like $2,500! I decided to go elsewhere. And thankfully I did. And BTW I will never set foot in that dealership again.I next called two Subaru dealers in Colorado where we have a second home and was told by both that replacing the two headlight assemblies was nonsense and that the bulbs could be removed and replaced.I therefore went online, bought two low beam bulbs for around $62 and went to 26th Street Auto Center. They installed the bulbs for $150 and now I'm their latest customer for life. Quite a difference between $2,500 and $222!

Amazing guys!!! Service top class, did everything super quick, with great care and professionalism. No hidden costs, super trustworthy and honest, which is extremely rare nowadays with car services and auto shops. Defiantly my top and only choice for a car service in Santa Monica and LA.

I Love 26th Street Auto Center.Just had my Mustang repaired because my check engine light was on. Richard was so attentive and explained the problem, gave me the quote to repair and it was done the same day. It was such a better experience then the dealer as I did not feel intimidated and the cost was very comparable and cheaper then the dealer.I will be backThanks

I had a great experience here. Being new to Santa Monica I was looking for a car shop that I could trust. I called in about an issue with my car and Robert actually let me know that I most likely had warranty on the car and should call my local dealership. Turns out I did have the warranty. Thank you to Robert and the 26th Street Auto Center.

I recently visited my daughter in Los Angeles and when I drove in her car for the first time she said: the brakes are sure making a bad sound. (she s an actor just sayin ). The brakes were metal on metal and immediately we took the car over to 26th and San Vicente auto repair. They fixed the brakes and did an excellent job, but they also found that there was a crack in the water pump. Had that not been repaired too that could ve meant a new engine, so I m so glad they did a thorough check of the vehicle, especially since it is my daughter s great job 26th and San Vicente auto. The most friendly service oriented family owned station that feels like a small town neighborhood place in the middle of Santa Monica/ Brentwood! And the owner which gas brands and re-branded his station to keep prices down for his clientele who are loyal like myself! Robert, Jackie and everyone are amazing. I have been patronizing this auto center for years, since I gave up on the Toyota dealership in Santa Monica. Every time I took my car in for normal service, the very next day something major broke. The first time: casual. The second time, a concern, the third time....well, you guess. So I went to Robert, and I have never looked back. Absolutely trustworthy, friendly, accommodating, and always going the extra mile. I now consider them friends, and it would be hard to convey what it means to me to have such friends. They have managed to keep my car going even at the ripe age of 26 - though it has only 100,000 miles on it. They always keep you informed, they are prompt, efficient, clean, and absolutely wonderful. I cannot say enough superlatives - they would never be sufficient to convey how great they are.
