I just want to share our experience here. My husband went at 9 am this morning to ask about their smog check and the attendant said $17! How can that be? Are they doing some sudden wild promotions? My husband was in serious DOUBT so he ASKED AGAIN if it was $17 and the attendant confirmed "yes" it was $17. When my husband received the bill AFTER service was rendered, he was shocked to see that it was $70! My husband could have very well gone somewhere else for $40 had he known. We pointed this out to the owner so he could have a chance to correct his mistake if it was indeed an honest mistake yet he declined and even hung me up on the phone.At this point, it's not about just the money, it's about the lack of integrity in this business and how they made us feel deceived not to mention how rude he was to me.FYI, they changed ownership from the previous father and son business to Chevron now. If you have been going for years and liked their service, it's not the same owner anymore.With their poor customer service, we will definitely take our business elsewhere in the future!

Very pricy compared to all the smog stations in the neighborhood. He charged me $70!! The smog station at Imperial Avenue in Cupertino charges a lot less!Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification

I have been getting my cars smogged in California for almost 40 years, and this spot is by far the best. He is fast, inexpensive, and extremely fair. I had an engine light come on in my Acura just before smogging it, he told me what was wrong, I was able to fix it myself in under 10 minutes, for free, and he retested it for $10.I have 6 cars right now and would never consider taking any of them anywhere else. I have used him well over 25 times, and the same high quality, fair pricing, and speed every time.

I went there yesterday, excellent service and price by Loc ( a few dollars off as old client). I was a bit hesitated due to the poor reviews. Now I know why. Loc did my car yesterday and I was told that he started working there in April. I guess the business was sold to next door Chevron. I hope this helps.

Needed a smog test for my registration. This is how easy it was, called to see if I needed an appointment, nope Loc said to come in before 4:30 then he can do a test for me. Drove in right away, filled out a form, left the car with Loc, went to rite aid for 15 mins, came back and it was already done. I think I was out of the house maybe 20 mins total. So easy, fast, and hassle free. And he gave me a coupon for a discount on the smog test. They are star smog station.

Went for smog check on a Saturday afternoon. The guy was really cool and provided great service even though it was crowded and he was very busy.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Rude, unhelpful person working the shop. I've been coming to this location for over 20 years and apparently it is now under new management and/or ownership. My family and I will definitely seek our services elsewhere.
