We are from Montana and had a vehicle emergency while we opted to not have it fixed by these guys or at all. They were very accommodating the absolute most respectful and friendly helpful people I be met, they were understanding and very empathetic. What a great business obviously ran by a superstar. Hope to never need this place again but if I do I won't be upset.

Very friendly staff as well as quick and efficient work! Both of the tattooed ladies at the counter were awesome, then Edgar got my car in and out right away. They even offered great follow up options. I like their shop and will definitely return and recommend!

I came in on a Thursday because I bought a Jeep Wrangler gas cover and could not figure out how to put it on. Javier and his team assisted me with such care and delicacy, it felt like I pulled up to my mom s house and my brothers came outside to help me. Kudos to the team here! They are nice, polite and professional. As a young woman, it s hard to feel safe in these kinds of environments and they made sure I did.

So I bought a new car alarm remote next door at Advanced Auto it said it took 5 minutes to install I watched the video I read the directions I tried it about three times I couldn't do it so I went to take it back and they suggested I go next door to Pep Boys and see if they could do it. I went next door I was greeted by the manager so kindly and he said "pull your car around back, slot 1". 20 minutes later it was connected to my car and they didn't charge me anything! Not only was everyone nice they squeezed my car in to set up the remote for me. I will go there in the future for any of my car needs

Pros: Open 7 days per weekCons: Didn't show me what was wrong before writing up a work order for thousands of dollars. Didn't give me the old parts. Left the car for 4 hours and got charged $1400 in labor. Will get another mechanic to double check that anything was done at all.

I went it to get a wheel alignment on March 11th 2024 at 5:30pm. I got out around one hour later.After a few minutes on the road, I noticed that my wheel alignment issue had been made worse.I called in about 15 minutes after I had left to let them know of the issue and I was told that the wheel alignment mechanic had left for the day and to come back the next day.I came back the next day March 12 at 8:00am right when they opened to be seen. I was told the fix would take 45 minutes and I had been waiting past 10:00am.I had work to go to and I ended up being late. No one explained to me what was happening.Update: They did not notify me when my vehicle was ready. I had to go up to the counter to ask.

I wasn t going to leave a review about this place but my issue with this location just happened to one of my friends.I came in with a flat tire and ended up replacing all four tires initially and everything was fine with that service. As other people have said they were slow but I planned ahead. However, when I was checking out they were trying to tell me that my brakes were almost gone and I m driving on no breaks. Which was false as my father in law just replaced the breaks on the car. This break issue just happened to my friend as well. So be aware of this upselling tactic.Furthermore a month or so later I got a nail in my tire and went back to have it fixed but they turned me away saying I didn t have the warranty and they couldn t fix the problem. The only solution they proposed was buying another brand new tire. I ended up going to another shop which fixed my tire for free.

My experience was great. I was looking for a part for a gentleman and his wife who's car had broken down near my house. They had the part that I was looking for and it was very reasonable priced. The young lady who helped me was very nice, helpful, and knew more than I did about cars and parts. Lol...

Betty and Javier made the walk in appointment effortless and seem less. They're were packed with clients, but was able to get me out within an hr. Great team!

First the positive...friendly knowledgeable people at front auto service desk. They were patient with me. The techs caught my brake rotors that had worn out, after I had purchased 4 tires. That for me was good. They got right on it. Installing new battery and tires, and new brake rotors. The service auto office opens at 8 am. Just go there when you arrive. There is a nearby Carl Jrs and other fast food places to grab a coffee or bite to eat, while waiting . Now the negative..the waiting area needs an update on their worn out chairs. The waiting room looks really beat up. There is no coffee machine to buy coffee or snacks while waiting. Other auto service companies waiting rooms have pay for coffee vending machines or complimentary coffee. I added some photos to show the condition of the auto service waiting room.

Rocio was the service clerk that was going to check us in for a transmission fluid change and she was already having a rough time checking us in. She couldn't find us until one of her teammates told her where to look. Once she found us, she gave us an estimated amount. We asked for the military discount as which she stated it's 10%. We then asked what's the total amount with the discount and she gave a hand gesture and said "10% is 10%". When we asked again we would like to know the total amount with the discount, she shrugged us off and said everything is done at the end. After shrugging us off, she proceeded to pull out her phone to tell us the estimated total. We didn't appreciate her rudeness and the way she shrugged us off when we asked for the total amount with the discount. So is this the way your employees treat military personnel and veterans? To be rude and shrug them off like they don't matter? Never have I been treated this way and had to walk out because of such rudeness.

Paid online for a battery which showed in stock and set an appointment to have it installed, which was about 8 hours after I paid in full online. "Appointment" didn't seem to matter, it took an hour and a half, the battery wasn't in stock, they never informed me of this or that they switched the battery to something else until I asked to check on the status of my service 45 minutes in and they acted surprised and rude that I would want to know more about the battery they were installing, such as brand and specs.

Visited Pep boys last week for a rotation and was told my tyres (Uk) were bad. In honesty I had 59k miles and the car is electric so was accurate. I paid for 4 new tyres and installation out the door for about $750. The next day the car was pulling to the left, never done this before. Long story short I called made a follow up for Tuesday taking a morning off work and went on in. At first they wanted to charge me for an alignment, but I pointed out there was a complimentary one during installation and anyone would have known that the car was not in alignment. This is when Mario, the manager, stepped in. Realized they had made a mistake by not doing their due diligence and then corrected the alignment without cost, whilst apologizing for me having to make a second visit out of my busy life. Excellent customer service by Mario, not only did he solve my issue but his demeanor and professionalism whilst doing so was above and beyond! I would definitely recommend this Pep Boys simply because of him ! Thank you!

Don't bother making an Appointment here, since it takes probably the same amount of time, if not shorter, if you were to drop your car off instead. Check out was infuriating since there was no communication between the front desk and mechanics. My keys were mishandled and they had to go looking for them, which meant me standing around for a longer amount of time to leave even though my keys were left in the ignition without me being notified. The front desk has excellent customer service, but there seems to be a lack of communication between the front desk and the mechanics. I'll give it a two only because the customer service was good but clearly this place needs to get organized. I've never had such a terrible waiting experience like this in my life.

Apparently their rideshare tech only works 8-5 even though the website lets you book appointments any time during their actual business hours.Nothing pisses me off when wasting my time. And, conveniently, manager also let for the day. Useless.

I went for uber inspection. The girl worker rushed me through the process and made me feel dumb and stupid because I'm not too techy. I can't find manually where the headlight switch was - I drive an automatic lights on, lights out car who cares about the manual switch. It's very simple, if the auto switch won't work, so the manual isn't it??? Anyway, I finally figured out and head back to her to report about my progress - I waited soooo long. She found out that my right headlight bulb is not working. She then told me to come back when it's fixed and left. She didnt even offer the store service of fixing it. 25 dollars gone in minutes coz it's non refundable but this is not my problem it's the way I was treated.

Made an appointment. Pep Boys took 1.75 hours for a 30-minute job. Staff seemed unconcerned with length of time serving took. Service did not involve engine so did not need to wait for engine to cool down.

The appointment is worthless!!I'm here at the Pepboy 4645 E Pacific Coast Hwy, Long Beach, CA 90804.I made an appointment for 0800. I checked in on time, and my vehicle went to the bay at 0900. It's done by 1000, and it took me 2 hours for wheel alignment.I asked the front desk, "Why is it taking�so long?". The answer is the person before me do the wheel alignment as well.My concern is, "Why don't you check before setting up an appointment for a customer? You have only 1 alignment station, you should tell me to come in the other time. I already have my set schedule, and now i have to cancel my next schedule because of the lack of management.Don't book an appointment for a customer at the same schedule.Sir, this is really easy to fix. It's so many complaints and not the first time.

I usually go to the dealership for oil changes, but I decided to try Pep Boys for the first time. Madhur took great care of me and helped me understand all my options. I was in and out quicker than the dealership and I couldn t be happier. Definitely going back.

I bought a used car in January and the check engine light came on about 3 weeks later. I still had a warranty so I brought it in to the service provider that my warranty was with, this Pep Boys. My warranty had a $100 deductible fee. I dropped off the car and within 30 minutes I got a call saying that everything was fine with the car and the light is off now. I asked what services they performed and they just cited diagnostics. They said since there was nothing wrong it would only be $50. I picked up the car and paid and went on my way. Three days later the light came back on. I got out the manuel searching to see what could be wrong. I learned that the tires had low pressure based on the light that was on. I then realized that Pep Boys charged me $50 to fill my tire. Rather than educating me on what the light did, they just cited "diagnostics". I've never been so taken advantage of by a business in my life. I would've been glad to pay the $50 AND return for service if I was actually treated like a person who bought a used car and was learning about the car, but instead I was treated as a mark to take advantage of due to my ignorance. I am disappointed in my experience with such a huge chain.

I may have to take to small claims court. recommended a re- repair of my vehicle that pep boys had done 2 years ago. Makes me think the original repair was not done or very poorly done.

I came here to get an Uber driver vehicle inspection. The guy said that they don't do it on rainy days that the lady that does the inspections fell when doing an inspection one time and now she just goes home when it rains so they can't do the inspection. You lost an easy 20 bucks on a vehicle inspection! Who's running this business Good luck. On to ACA Automotive for the inspection. Will review that one afterwards. Stay tuned. I will be back after these messages.

Surprisingly awesome. I ordered tires via Tire Rack and had them delivered to this Pep Boys. Scheduled an appt online for installation, and not only were they on-time and quick, the price was LESS than originally quoted - no upselling, hidden costs, etc. The woman I checked in with was also super nice (I don't recall her name).

Great service and selection. The store is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.The only thing that sucks is that there's no turn lane to get into the parking lot if you're coming from the traffic circle, but that's not their fault. They do have a large parking lot though.

Do NOT do wheel alignment on TESLA.They do NOT give you the RESULTS, neither printed nor digitally in .pdf nor in their website.I have got REFUNDED. But I spent 1 hour and $55 to Uber round trip not refunded, obviously.They tried to cheat on me.

Great service everytime . Usually fast and always fixes my issues same day if I bring the part. Desiree and Betty always deliver great customer service at the counter and clear on when things will be done .
