JB smog is the best and i highly suggest women come and get there smog done here JB Smog will not take advantage of you, JB smog will treat you with respect and fair pricing unlike so many other sexist smog test shops in long beach. great place, seriously. I went to 38488593 different places at before coming to JB Smog. i ll only be coming here from now on, and recommend all women to come here.I stopped by 7 other smog places in long beach in the same day prior to coming to JB Smog. Other places in LB (NOT JB Smog) we re sexist in their pricing, trying to take advantage of me being a woman when quoting me astronomical prices in the $130-$200 for a smog check (i have a normal car, 2014 Hyundai) which I know damn well other places in long beach would NEVER try to charge a man that because it wouldn t fly.JB smog was the only place where i felt respected, treated fairly, and gave me a normal price for smog check and didn t try to take advantage of me being a woman getting something done with my car. I came 40 minutes to close without an appointment and it was done in 10 minutes. thank you JB smog for setting such a high standard and for treating women (like myself) with respect.

JB Smog Check is GREAT! I have been bringing my cars here for years. The owner/technician gets the smog check done very quickly and from what I can tell has the best prices in the area. I highly recommend this place if you need a smog check.

Called them at 11:50 asking if I needed an appointment, they said I could come down as a walk-in. Got there at 12:10 and was back on the road at 12:25. Extremely fast and friendly service. Highly recommended!

Excellent & quick service with a smile! Brian was very professional & courteous. It was a warm day & he went above measure of Kindness providing us with water & cheese with crackers while we waited for our cars to have smog checks.I highly recommend this place as competent & honorable to their Customers.Customer care is #1 !!!

I had the best experience here! I moved here from out of state and didn't know that you had to get a smog test to register your car and get plates. I was nervous because my car is a 2001 and was afraid it wouldn't pass because it was older. Brian was so friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me and put my nerves at ease. It was super quick, it only took about 15 minutes! He also offered me water while I waited. My car ended up passing the Smog Check and he gave me all of the paperwork and info I needed to take back to the DMV. The whole process was fantastic! It was easy, fast, cheap, and the customer service was impeccable! I will always come back here. Customer for life!

I ve had such a great experience here at JB Smog!!! The service is spectacular with such a quick and fast service. I was in need of a smog check for the longest. I called and was able to come in right away with no wait whatsoever. I think Bryan was his name. He was very kind to help me out. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs to get their vehicles checked.

To say I'm critical when it comes to automotive services is an understatement. Having been a general manager for the largest independent tire dealer in the U.S., I know what a good and honest shop looks like. I came in a for a smog check to renew my registration and was greeted immediately by a friendly and helpful individual who performed the service with a sense of urgency without rushing through what needed to be done. Best smog shop in town! Fast, friendly, and welcoming. Even though a car was in service upon my arrival, I was still greeted and offered water. You can t beat the customer service and price here. I will be returning!

I called a few places ahead of time since my regular spot stopped doing smog checks, and these guys were by far the least expensive and most responsive. I went there, and less than 20 min and $45 later, I was done (don t quote that price though - I know it depends on the year of your car). It was super efficient and I got lucky that no one was there when I arrived. By the time I left there were only 2 other people waiting. I have a feeling it s particularly efficient here because they only do smog checks. They have a couple parking spots for waiting (plus plenty of street parking when I went), and a table, chairs, and a bench to sit and wait. They do take credit cards (visa/mastercard) and they do offer a free retest I believe (that didn t apply to me so I don t know from experience). I will most likely come back here in a couple of years for my next one!

Nice people, friendly service. Quick in and out. Cold drinks available while you wait. Free retest if needed. Small place, might miss it, if you drive too fast or look down at your phone, it's just east of Junipero on Northside of 10th. Thanks.

I like honesty which go a long time. Did not pass But he told me the problem . I got 20 days to fix the problem. To avoid paying again. It pass inspection the second time. But I know if had a problem without honestly . Every thing is done right. I recommend this place to anyone.
