5 star service all the way through. Evan and Rick are great. Absolute experts in transmissions. Explained the whole process very thoroughly and what my options were. Truck feels brand new after they rebuilt my 68RFE. Very top notch and highly recommended.

Spent weeks trying to diagnose and repair my truck (2011 LML) believing I was having an electrical issue and that it was not related to mechanical failure. While I m very capable, transmissions are very unfamiliar to me (especially ones as complex as Allison). I had pulled the pan twice, drove to Victorville for and replaced the internal harness, found and replaced the TCM for $2,000, and was still having issues. I felt so defeated having spent all my free time under my truck for a few weeks and thrown money during hard times at things that didn t fix the issue. I called Evan for help at Inglewood Transmission and never knew him nor did he know me prior to our conversation. I explained what I had done, the issues I was having, etc. in which Evan spent nearly an hour on the phone with me helping figure out the problem (when most shops would just jump to it being worst case scenario or say bring it in). Evan took the time to help me, not knowing if he d even get a dollar from the conversation. The conversation lead to him believing the clutches were toast and he offered an explanation of how it all worked and that the symptoms the truck was displaying was synonymous with the mechanical failure. While the price was high it was straight forward and I firmly believe you get what you pay for. Being financially in a pinch and knowing I had already thrown money at things that weren t the problem, I was weary but chose to trust the new Allison King ad they called the prior owner Mike. Evan worked with me getting the truck in and out quickly, he had my trucks transmission rebuilt and upgraded to their 750 build in less than 6 hours. The cherry on top is knowing our truck is a lifeline for my family in the snow instead of making me wait until Monday Evan stayed after hours ON A FRIDAY NIGHT nearly an hour and a half so that I could pick the truck up and stuck around for some conversation (even showing me the fried clutches). I would recommend anyone looking look no further. I felt very taken care of and feel as though I would be if anything happened again. Great shop, straight shooter kind of guy. I had a 10/10 experience here. Shop is Allison specialty but not limited to only Allison s. My 05 Silverado was doing this thing where the solenoid was engaging randomly, I knew I had to take it to Inglewood transmission. I spoke with Mike L on the phone and then when I got there went with Evan for a test drive to show him what was going on. Once he felt it he knew it was toast and we put together a plan to drop the 525hp in and then he went through to make sure it wasn t still doing it, unfortunately it still was, him and Roger tried to troubleshoot for about a week and then we decided to get it over to buds to replace the wiring harness. I really appreciated the level of communication, transparency and honesty that I got out of them. Evan is a fountain of knowledge and he s a standup guy . This shop is doing additional services and parts and they will get much more business out of me!! Thank you team!!

Rick and his dudes were very accommodating. Been following these guys since the old man (Rip Mike) used to run the place back when duramax forum was the bee s knees. I ve taken 3 trucks to these guys and I ve been treated like family every time. They did my trans swaps (I had prebuilt ones, which I brought from other guys parting out trucks) and they did dropped the old ones and swapped the new ones in like they were doing an oil change. Rick and the gang know what s up. The gold standard of Allison transmissions on the west coast.

Inglewood Transmission! That s THEE PLACE!!!!Get in and out real quick they can do in house rebuilds with their eyes closed. Evan helped me do a stage 2 on my 17 Cummins. There they have all the knowledge and resources to do a proper rebuild with upgrades that ll help fortify one of the most important parts especially when upping the power in your rig. Thus far, 100 miles in and the truck drives and shifts way better than ever. I m glad Evan listened to what my concerns/needs were because his recommendations on this build are top notch. Professional, helpful and super knowledgeable, I m glad I found this shop.

Amazing transmission build and service. I called around to a transmission shop up in Washington it starts with an S. They responded to a email a week later I Also called everyone back east but couldn t get a transmission to me unless I had an authorized dealer put it in for me which was clear in the Midwest. Tried to get parts could not get those either was taking too long to get that as well. I stumbled across Inglewood Transmissions in California I live in Washington. I called Evan and email him as well. Planned it out drove down there installed it in one day and turned it in the same day and I was back on the road. I had him put in that 750 hp build with the sun coast triple disc converter and I m still breaking it in but so far everything looks great and feels great better than new. I like it so much no one else will touch my transmissions again other than them.Service: Transmission

Mike built me a nice 48RE for my Dodge Cummins. Almost 6yrs. old now and running like brand new. It shifts strong and quick, very impressive. Update: Truck lost 2nd gear while towing work trailer the other day, took it to Mike and it was ready the following day. What I like is the little things like replacing rear main seal on my engine, didn't ask but they did it and I'm glad they did, who wants diesel oil on their driveway? Upon inspection, trans was clean, no debris in the pan just a broken band.

I was in quick need of a quality converter that was in stock and ready to ship. Evan spent some time with me over the phone to ensure I was set up with the right converter for my truck and had it out to me ASAP. Couldn t thank him enough for the recommendation and taking care of me so quickly. Trans was shifting rough, so I made an appointment and brought it in. I knew I needed a new trans, and I thought I would need a rental car, but they got me fixed up and turned around the same day! My dually now shifts, drives and tows better than new, picked up 2 MPG on average, and I d swear it feels like the truck has 100 HP more than it did.

Called and spoke to Evan after a local transmission shop explained that my transmission issues were caused by my ppei programmer. Ryan at ppei told me that was impossible, and referred me to Evan as the best allison transmission guy in the world. Evan took my call, explained what could be the problem, and stayed on the line as I drive down the highway describing the situation in order to help diagnose. In all, we were on the phone for 31 minutes. All the while him knowing he wasn't likely to make a dime off of me, me being in Texas. He was very professional, and willing to help without the expectation of return. That is excellent customer service in my book.

Mike is fantastic to work with and delivers a great product. Deep knowledge of how transmissions function. Mike's team doesn't just assemble parts, they make sure everything about the transmission is right before they are satisfied. I trailered my son's truck over 300 miles to have Mike work on it, and I would definitely use Mike again.

I took my truck to Inglewood Transmission for my 68RFE which it has been repaired by dealer two times between 2017 and 2020 when I talked to Evan about the problem and that I was tired of this transmission he explained to me what he will do to make it better and I went for it which I don't regret he had the truck when he told me and also runs great and strong much better than when the dealer fixed itService: Transmission

Just noticed that its been 130K since I had Mike rebuild the Allison in my '01 Duramax. He did a Stage II (500hp) build and with the addition of a two tune switch/program, I have a great high hp setting and one for towing. The rebuilt trans has never given me a bit of trouble. If you're able, get your rig to Inglewood Trans and let Mike give you a quality rebuild!

Absolutely the best place for performance transmissions. Mike built my LB7 almost 5 years and 100k miles ago. It still feels as good as the day he did it, and it's been abused. The best part about getting work done here is his torque converters, unlike anything else on the market.

I was really impressed with Mike L's knowledge but I was blown away by how great he is to work with. He had no interest in up-selling me on stuff I don't need but took a really honest approach to setting me up with a performance transmission that'll take whatever I can throw at it. Durability aside, It's crazy how much better the truck drives and puts the power down.

I drove 1,000 miles one way to have Mike rebuild my Allison transmission two years ago. It has performed flawlessly since then and is stronger than the original factory trans with heavier duty parts. Cost was reasonable and very quick turnaround, we even had some extra time to spend at Disneyland! I would highly recommend Inglewood Transmission for an honest, competent job!!!

I paid Mike L to build me a transmission for my 2006 Dodge ram diesel, he told me he will install a billet input shaft along with a main shaft to go with it, and along with other top components ( so I thought ). After my transmission went out I called him and he said call me back in a week, and then Monday came and gone and he didn't even have the commen curtisy to talk to me. So I found another local transmission builder and after the tear down he pointed out there we're no billet mainshaft it was a stock shaft, I was really disappointed in his service, along with his lying, bad business.

I called Mike from Las Vegas and within 3 minutes of talking to him I knew this is the guy I want working on my truck to fix the mess a local shop left me hanging with. Mike had my transmission rebuilt and back on the road in 1 day. 650hp truck and I've had zero hiccups in the 6k miles I've driven since rebuild.Inglewood transmission is where you want to take your transmission to get rebuilt. Mike L is a Allison expert!

As always one of the most knowledgeable people around, called and ordered a transmission cooler and had it in a couple days and on top of that I've called with questions and he always answers them and has spent alot of time on the phone with me
