Jim is the best detective when it comes to finding out the true issue with your car or truck. His knowledge about vehicles and the problems they may have as they age is astounding. I trust his opinion and work entirely. I have a 2006 Toyota Tundra and he and Jose keep it in great running order. Jim is the owner and always charges an incredibly fair price for the work they do. I've even called the shop from Northern California on a road trip when I was having battery trouble and Jim advised the best course of action (getting a new battery asap) and the brand to buy. If I had driven home from Sacramento without replacing the battery, I could have messed up my alternator. Great garage and awesome, knowledgeable guys. I hope he never retires! Thanks Jim!

Hands down the most honest and best service I have ever recieved from a auto repair shop. Jim was amazing at getting the repair done correctly and for a fair price. Highly recommend!!!!

Great mechanic. Honest and won't try to sell you something you don't need. Jim and Jose are friendly and appreciate their customers. For most repairs their prices are the best in town.

Very good, honest, and fair service. Recently, I had a starter replaced in my Honda. The new starter also had problems after a few days of the replacement. When I told them this, they quickly got my vehicle in and replaced it again with no charge and no hassle. Though I understand this is basic good business, some places will make you jump through a series of hoops before they remedy the situation. Herb and Reds fixed the situation without question and without wait. I ve taken my vehicles to be serviced there ever since I moved to Long Beach and have always received great service. I would recommend them to anyone.

Oh my goodness, such incredible service and Value! Jim is an incredibly honest and fair man. I went for a tune up, he did more than that, just because it needed a lil' of this or that; and he didn't charge me for it. My family uses Jim for our vehicles, I trust his knowledge and honest recommendations, he won't break the bank.....Bring him a treat along with your payment, he'll appreciate the kind gesture with all his heart. After all, with the money save coming here, why not show a little gratitude with a thank you gift.....Thanks Jim

Jim and Jose always take excellent care of my cars. I've been coming here for years and have brought about three of my own cars and about 4 of my friends here. I wouldn't have any other mechanic. They are honest and fair with pricing. I never feel cheated.

Would not recommend this place for anyone, I consider myself to be mechanical so when they started to give me the run around I had to get my car out of there. They say one thing then want you to wait all day before they even give you a estimate. Would not recommend this shop for anything! Customer service and the actual auto repair was great, prices are reasonable. Showed all the old parts that were fixed. Busy shop call first and make an appointment.

Friend recommended to them when I moved to Long Beach and now I recommend to my friends. I almost hate giving recommendations to people, because I'd like to keep this secret to myself. LOL. They are extremely courteous and fair, never overcharging, or making up fixes the car doesn't need. They do not exploit.

Went in to get a quote for repair of a plastic shield that came loose under my car. They assessed the situation and said they could zip tie it in place for me to hold so I could drive the car until I could have the shield replaced. They secured the plate in less than 5 min and didn't even charge me for it. Amazing service, I will definitely be going back for any future automotive repair!

They were so amazing did a perfect job and showed me all the parts they put in and what was damaged and took me to my engine to show me stuff 100- percent perfect always called me to let me know what's going on they are now my regular Mechanic I recommend theim to everyone and the prices are to the point

If you want an honest, great mechanic this is your place. If they can't fix it, it can't be fixed or they will direct you to someone that will. Have to say, they are really busy, so you may have to wait to get your vehicle in, but the wait is worth it.

I called for appointment they sent me to a shop called,Millers in North Long Beach I had to keep calling about my car never got a call back my car just sat there when I went to pick it up he charged me $25.00 for doing nothing at all my car just got worst. I think if you are a person of color do not go to this place or the other one

There is no competition. They're the only mechanic I will ever trust. I've had way too many clowns in the past. Once you find a good one, you stick with it.

I'm not sure who helped me (it was a quick service), but whomever it was was down-to-earth, not at all condescending, and made me feel at ease, which was super unexpected and refreshing. I'll be back for sure.
