German auto parts and service is the best. For My BMW, They solved many mechanical and electrical problems that a number of other places I went to, weren t able to fix. Trevor and His Father are the best German Auto technicians I ve ever met. They are helpful, very knowledgeable, and their work is the Best. I recommend German Auto Parts and Service to everyone.

This is the place to go for all your German auto parts! Trevor Jones is the most friendliest & is very detail oriented. After all these years, I am so grateful that they're still there.August 22, 2023Another great work done on the family car today. They were quick to get me back on the road in order to get my brother to his weekly appointment. Always friendly and worth the drive to receive the attention they give to our automobiles

My little brother and I have been going here for 25+years. Since Dave was just the mechanic and Trevor was a school boy. Now Dave is the owner/head mechanic and Trevor is the service writer. And in the more than half our lives we have been there every employee/manager/owner has never been anything but the utmost professional. Integrity is second to none. I am a motorcycle mechanic myself and choose to have my (always own mbz cars) cars worked on there because the last thing I want to do is turn a wrench, and these guys are the only ones I both trust their work and their honesty. Thanks for always being there for us!!

Excellent service above and beyond!! My BMW 328i battery died of all places at the departure curb at the Long Beach Airport. Upon waiting for the tow truck my son and daughter-in-law found GERMAN AUTO REPAIR and spoke with Trevor. He had a battery in stock and said he would be able to take care of that day! We were able to get a charge to the existing battery by the tow truck driver and drove straight to GAR. Trevor took care of us as soon as we arrived. We were back on the road in less than an hour. I was so thankful and he was the nicest guy ever. Thank you again, Trevor, for taking care of my car so quickly.Service: Auto battery replacement

Very honest and great work done everytime I take my car here. Trevor is awesome. My car had a problem and it was a $1200 fix so I pulled out my credit card. Trevor informed me that it might be covered on an extended warranty (I said no my warranty is over at 5 years) he said it's a Calif emissions something or another. Call the dealer. I did right there and it was covered. Thanks again Trevor

The only mechanic that has worked on my BMW other than the BMW dealership. Theywork on German cars and have consistently performed excellent work/repairs on my car. They have great customer service and fair prices. German Auto was actually recommended by a representative at the BMW dealership. The rep said, "You won't get the bells and whistles of the dealership foyer but you will get quality work and pay a fraction of the price you'd pay at the dealership." I was initially hesitant to take my car in but fast forward... 15 plus years of car service... I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Dave and Trevor are very nice, informative and professional. Highly recommended!

Trevor, Dave, and Saul are great! Fair prices, good guys. I hate that my car needs periodic service, but I'm glad to have a good crew who appears to care about a successful outcome at a fair price.

Refered by my friends' Nate Jones auto repair.. Excellent and thorough diagnosis with choices for correcting multiple issues with my nieces 10 year old BMW (528?)... Reasonable prices for very professional experienced technicians..

I ve been bringing my German cars to this family shop for over a decade. Father and son owners Dave and Trevor only use oem parts and tools, they work on these cars as good if not better than the dealerships. I was visiting Long Beach from the Bay area and my brake lights went out. I took my car in and the guys fixed a broken wire problem on the spot. They replaced some incorrect bulbs and put in some spare fuses. They checked the oil and tires etc and I was on my way. We had a great chat and a few laughs. A very reasonable bill and all in all one of my more pleasant mechanic experiences. I highly recommend.

Trevor, Dave, Sal, & Bruce are fantastic mechanics. All are extremely knowledgeable and will not do more work than is necessary. Might be a little pricey, but I have never had any problems with the work they have done on my three cars.

This place is special for those who need good, fast,and fair German auto repair service. I have been coming to Dave and his son Trevor for about 3 years for work on my 2005 BMW X5. Treir mechanics are excellent. Did I mention their prices are fair!

I can say without a doubt that Trevor and his dad are the most knowledgeable BMW mechanics in my area! Even just buying parts they give you what they pay! True gentlemen in a world where finding honest owners is rare!

German Auto in Long Beach is about as good as it gets. The owner and mechanics know their stuff, and get the job done quickly and at a price that is far better than the dealership.I have had my R56 in twice now for work done after the warranty has ended. I can honestly say I trust these guys 100%.Anybody out there looking for a Mini Cooper mechanic, any foreign car really, these guys will take care of you.

Trevor was awesome and the service and prices were great! German auto took care of the little things and were very detailed with what got repaired, analysis of future needs and even showed me the old parts and detailed what happened to them

Great guys ! Dad and son combo. Has always taken care of me, from my e46 to my e90 bmw. I feel they have always been very honest and don t try to rip you off. Told me a joke once, no need to rip anyone off. They are German cars not Japanese, they break down all the time ahaha. Love those guys.

Took in 2013 X5 for oil change. These guys are thorough and extremely professional. I'm new to CA, and it's nice now have a go-to place if any sorta of service or repair is needed.

i took my car twice to these guys because of the good review's but they couldn't find anything wrong, the car would shake at idle, so after troubleshooting myself i decided to adjust the IQ on my injector pump and that solved the problem, they had told me that it could be the clutch and it would cost me $800 to check out, but i fixed it myself in 10 minutes. would not recommend.

I gave them 1 star only because it does not let me put zero stars. The people here overcharge for everything. The service is expensive, the parts are so expensive and they change things that do not need to be changed. They are pushy and make you feel like if you do not change a part your car will have a big malfunction. Then, I took my car to some other shops for second opinions and it was not needed. If I wanted to pay that much I would go to the actual car dealership service, instead of a sketchy place like this. Worse experience and service , my advice is to avoid going to this shop and choose a different one. I was deceived by the comments on their website, but realized they were old and not true anymore.

They are knowledgeable about cars and do great work. They keep you up to date with the progress of your repairs. They are way less expensive than the dealership.

I had an emergency of overheating on my way to work. I googled for GERMAN auto service and this mechanic came out. I explained him the situation and how i need it as soon as possible, he told me it will take couple of days to diagnose!!!!??!? I would ever never come here if I really didnt have to.. go somewhere else if you are not caught up like me
