My dealership no longer had the part I needed to replace the defective one in my car. I am happy I found this company because it was difficult calling around to locate a replacement and the cost to repair mine was very reasonable. The service was done very fast, and the communication was excellent. I would recommend German Audio Tech to everyone. Great experience.

Still no response EDIT: My Dad will send you an Email. Please send him back his cluster. I would be glad to call you and resolve this if you had a working phone number. I will remove the review if you return his cluster. We don t care if you couldn t repair it.Give my Dad back his cluster for his CL500. It s been a year. We had to get one from a junkyard. How are you still actively responding to people here and blatantly ignore all Emails regarding his cluster he sent you?You received it and were having problems fixing it and instead of sending it back, you completely stopped responding. What the hell man? You had no problem taking his payment though.

I purchased a repair service for my dashboard, and it was completed and shipped back to me very quickly, within a week of me sending it�out! It worked great for 6 months, but now the entire unit has stopped working. It seems to be a connection error and I am not sure if some connections inside need to be redone.I purchased this because of the 100% guarantee and lifetime warranty, and I have sent numerous emails to both email addresses I could find and have received no response. I was forced to file a dispute through my credit card yesterday, but I really don't want a refund - I just want a response to my emails and for the unit to be repaired as promised. If I can get a resolution I will change my review to 5 stars and withdraw the dispute. My order number is #13020

Should have read the reviews... Same thing with me. Ordered the part, sent an email to support asking if they actually have the part, no response. Took a chance that they had it.. I'll assume they don't since they don't take phone calls or answer their CS emails. It's amazing to see so many people write a negative review but it's always the person that order it is problem according to the company. I'll be contacting Paypal to file a claim.

FAST service- faster than what was listed on the website. I sent in an instrument cluster from a 2003 BMW 525it. Some areas missing completely, hardly any pixels working. Mailed it on a Saturday, got it repaired and on my doorstep on Wednesday (4 days from mail to receiving it back). Cluster is bright, all areas and pixels work, and is a local (to me) business). I purchased the LCD screen for my GL 1800 Goldwing with navigation. Happy to see that the product was made by Sharp Corporation just like the OEM screen that I was replacing. The job was not easy, but not particularly difficult for those with skill and patience. I have been using it for a couple of months, and it is performing perfectly. Do not use this business unless you do not want to see or hear about your sent in item for at least 2 months. I sent in a GM5 module for a BMW Z4 to be repaired back in October. paid the $200 fee, got an email where to send it and sent it. Got confirmation that it was delivered and received by Daniel on October 31st. Have not heard a word about it. I have called, which tells you to email them, and I have emailed about 4 times over the course of a month and a half, still no response. Please send an update about order #13665! Worst customer service ever! Seems like the only way to get a response from this company is to post a 1 star review! If your closed for the holidays, at least send a message to the emails sent to your company. If I could give a 0 star review, I would. This business should be avoided at all costs! Now I guess I have to go buy another module?!?!?

No Communication. Its been two week cents I have shipped my Bentley interment cluster in for repair. I have called the shop 3-5 times and it goes straight to voicemail. I have emailed the support email with not a one reply. It's like no matter what I do. I can't get this shop to give me an update on what's going on with this interment cluster. I know my cluster is at there shop because UPS said it was dropped off on Tuesday, August 15 at 10:01 A.M Received By: DANIELL. When you are ready to talk. Horrible company. Total scam. Should never order anything from these. Will send you the wrong part. Tell you it is your fault and charge you more to replace it and then send you the wrong part again to never to be heard from again. The only order the $40 part from China and charge you $200 for it. Do your homework and avoid these people.

MAILED THEM MY MERCEDES RADIO UNIT AND ITHAS BEEN THREE WEEKS WITH NO RESPONSE. I HAVE EMAILED AND CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES. I JUST WANT MY RADIO BACK SO I CAN TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY. I SHOULD HAVE DONE MORE RESEARCH. THEY DON'T HAVE TONS OF ONE STARS FOR NO REASON.,

I would love to make this 1 Star a 5 Star as I have had great luck in the past; however, I have seen this business up close. [FYI: I own a 1997 Merced Benz 320 w/Stock Stereo Pieces]As I bought a Vintage Stereo from German_Audio_T that worked out terrific 'in dash', I went straight back to them when my CD Changer went down. I knew not to expect a text back, or email back, but went ahead and bought a new 6 CD Changer and paid his website. First problem was that instead of having the part shipped from Long Beach, CA. The Fed Ex came from Tennessee. The Second Problem was the part I paid for arrived Non-Functioning. The Third Problem was I had to pay a local Installer $190 to make sure that I was sold something that was in no way operational.I WENT TO GERMAN AUDIO TECH's ADDRESS!!! As I know Emails and Phone Calls are Folly, I headed to The Pine Ave Address in LBC. HE HAS NO OFFICE!!!! IT IS A UPS STORE!!! #337 is not a Address, HE JUST WORKS OUT OF A PO BOX!!!!However, the people at the UPS Store actually spoke highly of the owner of PO Box 337. I live around 45 minutes away, and they advised me to leave the non-working unit there for him to pick up and fix. For good measure, I also left the piece that went down 6 weeks ago boxed up for him as well. Along with a Cover Letter.I am hoping the guy can fix Either Unit (as I am into this for a cost of 1 Unit and his repair prices are cheaper), then send it from Long Beach to Hollywood. If he fixes one, and keeps the other to later fix and sell, then I am fine with a Vintage Car tech being eccentric. If he doesn't, sadly, the guy has to be considered a Thief. Which isn't only my term. It's what Chase Bank is going to say when they deny my Credit Card Purchase and Red Flag German Audio Tech.For now I remain hopeful this review will finally catch the man's eye. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I'm extremely disappointed with the German audio tech company's service. They took our gauge cluster from our Bentley promising to fix it, but it's been a complete nightmare. Despite multiple emails, calls, and attempts to contact them, they've remained unresponsive. Instead of contacting us back, they responded to our previous review quoting on vacation please remove the Google review .. how about you do your job and respond back in the correct way. We've paid for their service, and it's a huge scam. Our gauge cluster still hasn't been returned, and the lack of communication is unacceptable. This experience has been frustrating and infuriating, and I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone. If I could have a negative star rating their customer service definitely deserves it. Their reviews speak for them self!

German Audio Tech did an amazing job on repairing the LCD Ribbon on my 2002 e39 instrument cluster! After 4 years of owning the car, I can finally read the odometer, trip, outdoor temp and message center clearly. I recommend this business for all repair needs, they did an amazing job! Depending on how swamped and backed up they are, turnaround for the service depends but I shipped my unit and got it back less than 2 days, which is within the promised turnaround time of 24-48 hrs. Our company has used German Audio Tech is the past with no issues. German audio tech has purchased items from us in the past. So we are disappointed that we sent a MID display in to pixel repair back in 8/22 and as of today 1/23/23 we still have not received our item back. After asking for an update back in august, they finally replied to us in September stating that our item was unrepairable. We accepted their findings and requested that our display be sent back to us. It is now January of 2023 and we still have not received our display back. And of coarse there is no way to get in touch with them except through email. We do believe that they repaired our unit and sold it to someone else. But we have no way of proving it. Please beware of this once great company.Edit: We finally got our unit back around March of 2023. Upon review, we found that they had destroyed the unit. We found photographs of the installed unit, displaying information, but with bad pixels. Their claim of "unrepairable" was based on it "not accepting data". The unit is dead. Will not display anything since they touched it. We opened it to find an absolute hack job inside. So, they destroyed out $1000 E31 OBC.

Be Aware of this Company is really SCAM. They charge you on advance and you never get the parts or the service as well. They dont answer E mails or phone calls at all. Don't do any business with them.

Sent in a radio for screen replacement, took them a few months, and when we received the radio it no longer turned on. I have attempted to email and call the company around 20 times without a single response. Contacted my credit card company for a refund. Would like to get a response from German Audio and have them repair the radio or I'll send them back the screen and give me a refund?update:Order # 12422, would prefer a refund if I return the part since this radio appears to be unrepairable.UPDATE2: NO RESPONSE FROM GERMAN AUDIO TECH, NO PHONE CALLS & NO EMAILS ANSWERED

Yes I left a positive feedback and I have to tell you, this radio/CD43 is totally awesome and woke up these all original speakers. I had no idea they sounded this good. On the original radio/cassette the left rear speaker was dead. DEAD. In my mind, was it the speaker that was bad or the radio ? It was the radio. Thank you for selling me a near brand new unit. I bought a radio thru ebay and it didn't come with the code. I called my mechanic and bmw and neither could help. This site sent me the code in 5 minutes for $15.

After reading other s reviews detailing the same miserable communication I decided to submit a dispute with my credit card company and get a refund.I ordered a Harmon Kardon amp for a BMW E36 from their website. A week passed with no notification of being shipped so I emailed them. Couple days passed. Nothing. Emailed again and no response. I thought I d try to call them but it just tells you to go to the website or email them.Lots of other reviews here are saying the same thing. The owner has left arrogant and childish remarks on other people s reviews. I regret having attempted to do business with them. Poor experience and cannot recommend.Update 11/5/22:Edited for clarity.They emailed me after seeing this review and offered a refund. They asked that I take down this review. I won t be doing that. Customer service is 1/5 stars.

***AVOID***Paid $99 online and sent them my I-drive controller for my BMW for repair. It s been over 6 weeks. Sent multiple emails and tried calling multiple times with no response. Disputing the charges with my credit card company. ***AVOID***Update. After three months with no communication or contact they refunded my money but kept my BMW iDrive controller I sent in to be repaired. This required me to buy another which cost me double what repair would have been not to mention lost time and shipping.

This is the biggest scam and worst experience we have ever experienced. This is not a business. This is a one man show and there's no way to get in contact with the gentleman that runs it. You can go on the california business search website and type in this businesses name and find the guy who runs it and then type in his name on google and you can see he's been scamming people from way back in the day. Long before he ever even had this business. We sent him our cluster and he sent it back still broken, so we messaged him and he told us to send it back again. We did, now two months later and no response and we have no cluster so we're forced to order another one and pay over a thousand dollars to have the cluster programmed to the car. Our business is CK Motors, feel free to message us and I'd be happy to send you a screen shot of all our emails to this "business" that doesn't respond, whatever I can do to get people to not use this guy so that you don't get scammed like we did.

Ordered a navigation disc on April 11. It never came and I emailed them 6 times asking when it would come. They never responded and I never got the disc. Waste of time and money never order anything through this business. Worst 75 dollars I have ever spent.
