I took my car there for a exhaust system and could not be more pleased with the work and price. They did an excellent job and also repaired the stripped manifold studs that the last mechanic gifted me at no extra charge. I will take any vehicle of mine there anytime. High quality work that looks factory installed. Five stars and many thanks guys!

While I had my New York Car in California I picked up a Performance Exhaust and took my vehicle, without hesitation, to Advanced Muffler and Tire of Long Beach based on years of reputation for quality work at fair cost. Great work by Owner John an installer George thanks to Advanced Muffler my car sounds great and will return to New York with my dream exhaust installed. Been going to them for years and they've been the community for decades. Great service always. I just got a new catalytic converter and muffler from them. On my Cadillac and they did a complete exhaust system on my 1963 Chevy Impala.

went on a saturday morning and was the first car of the day. These guys had my car up and repaired fast, best of all they did quality work. i also had some modifications done to my exhaust too. Very helpful this is my new muffler shop for sure. Oh yeah, the best prices in town....

The owner and his employees are helpful and attentive. They have been helping me with my vehicles since 1989. Still today in 2021, I always go here first for their help. I give them 5 stars for this long term relationship /honesty and transparency. I recommend everyone to go here first for their vehicle needs relating to the services they offer.

While visiting family in Long Beach, someone stole the catalytic converter out of my Element. Got a referral to this shop through another local business. John, whom I contacted here, was friendly, professional, and quick. He ordered a replacement part that morning, and had my car fixed by the following afternoon. Exactly the kind of service and shop you hope you ll be lucky enough to find anywhere.

John and his team at Adavnce get 5 stars for their customer service and the quality of their work. Call and talk to John or stop by. I needed a catalytic converter installed and they did a great job and were also able to help me out with a good used muffler. Reasonable and fast.

One of the best mechanics that I ve ever done business with. If you need your exhaust system worked on this is the place to go: Especially before you go to a dealership.....I live about two hours from this mechanic but I will still drive to this shop if my Subaru has a problem with the exhaust system.

I love these guys. So does my Jeep! When I needed 4 tires and then a catalytic converter , I didn't think twice as to where I would have the work done on my classic CJ 7. The work was professionally done, the wait time minimal and the guys are a pleasure to hang out with. Kinda like being with the neighborhood guys you grew up with.... respectful, fair and looking out for you...even if you are a girl.! My mechanics recommended them to me,.and now through multiple experiences of my own I'm recommending them to you. It's hard to find good shops like this so when you do you keep it.

This place is Fantastic! Jorge, John and Darren are tops of what they do! Did a fantastic job on my 1977 Chevy Nova. Now i am bringing my Toyota Corolla Wagon for repair. I highly recommend this place.

I would drive across the country to get my muffler work done by these guys. I've been to them a few times, and only spent MAYBE 200 bucks total, including several visits where they sent me elsewhere because I didn't need what I thought I needed. They are not in business to rip you off; they're in business to do quality work the honest way. And with a smile. Today I thought I needed a new catalytic converter to pass smog. They did a quick read and said I should be good to pass, and sent me on my way to the smog place, not a penny spent. And that, my friends, is a small investment on their part, ensuring that I will NEVER go anywhere else.

I wanted to remove my resonator and install some bigger chrome tips on my Ford Fiesta St to change the tone and increase the sound a bit. John and Darren were extremely helpful and gave me some excellent advice and recommendations! No pressure or upselling at all. After talking to them a bit about what I wanted in terms of sound and tone Darren recommended a Magnaflow muffler, which would complement the resonator delete as well as the fitment of the chrome tips.After everything was done, it came out PERFECT! The chrome tips looked amazing and the sound & tone was EXACTLY how I wanted and envisioned! Thank you John and Darren! If anyone is still reading I highly recommend them if you re looking for any exhaust work!

Great shop, very cool owners....I was having a hard time getting my 79 Chevy to pass smog, my awesome Chevy guy (Larry from Larry's Automotive in Long Beach) referred me to The Advanced team, called for a quote, fair price, took my truck right in and they fixed her in 30 minutes..went straight to smog and passed...Thanks guys for getting her legal!! I went here for a muffler delete on my car. The staff were quick and respectful. The welds are good. I would bring any one of my other cars here.
