This is by FAR the best mechanic in town. Amazing customer service, good prices and extremely honest. I will never go to any other mechanics but them.

Dropped off my car in the middle of the night after it broke down mid roadtrip. The mechanic was wonderful, he took the time from his other jobs to inspect my engine, diagnose it, find me someone who could do the work, and more. I am eternally grateful for the help I was given today.

I had to get our 22 year old Toyota slogged, but the engine light was on. BIll correctly diagnosed the issue, did the repair at a reasonable cost and saved us from having to get another vehicle. Great work and service at a fair. Honest price. Did I mention we spent tons of money at other places that did not fully fix the engine light issue.

I have always had good service from Robertson Gomez Automotive. They open up when they say they will, they do the service they say they will do, and I have not had them go over an estimate in all the time I've been dealing with them. Oh yeah, even more importantly, they will actually call you when they are done with your car. The rest of the repair shops and dealerships in the area could learn a thing or two from Robertson Gomez! I would highly recommend them as they have never done me wrong!

These guys saved me while I was on a very short visit to Lompoc. Long story short - I was expecting to pay 2-3x what they charged me and they finished the work hours earlier than expected. I can't thank them enough. I highly recommend this shop!

I'm going to start with one word honesty that's what you get when you go to Robinson Gomez I went for a tune-up and I told him to replace the coil if needed and honestly I wouldn't know a bad coil from a good coil he said we checked your coils they're good and we're only charging you for the Sparks...highly recommend

Great service with a quick turnaround. They initially quoted me a price to replace the fuel pump because it had a broken fitting. Once they got into the repair, they noticed the fuel pump was actually fine, it was just the fitting that needed replacing. Instead of just replacing the fuel pump and charging me the initial price, they simply replaced the fitting and charged me much less than anticipated. Good, honest work at this place.

These guys are efficient and the price for what they do is reasonable and there honest. I think the mechanics that work there would do everything they could to help you get back on the road. It's a clean shop and car'snever stay too long, that means in and out, great job.

I really like these guys. I've had my car repaired by them about three times and I never felt like I was getting ripped off and I've had no problems with their work. It's a good and fair shop with good workers and fair prices and I'll never take my car anywhere else as long as I live in Lompoc.

Bill and the guys work as team to get you and your vehicle in and back out on the road as efficiently as possible, without sacrificing safety or quality. They pull it off time and time again with every vehicle I bring to them. I don't consider anyone else when it comes to automotive repair and diagnostic work. Be understanding of their intensity and busy schedule but rest assured that you can trust their recommendations and quality of work.

Didn t close my hood correctly. Refused to pay the whole amount of the windshield replacement, when I asked him to. A close friend of mine has also had belongings missing from their vehicle after leaving the shop, when questioned they denied and refused. Do not recommend, if you do go make sure your hood is properly shut before you drive away.

Needed an oil change. Got it in early and by the time we got our shopping finished, they were done. Great job as usual and quick service.

Couldn t reach them via phone to try and make an appointment so I thought hey I ll try to just do a walk in on their Smog only day aaaand they were closed. Supposed to be open 830-1130.... no ones home

Veteran owned and operated brought me in and their honesty will keep me coming back, didn't charge me for things I didn't need. I will recommend this place to anyone that needs an old school honest mechanic.
