Tried Lightfoot out for the 1st time. Came HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by tons of people. They did not disappoint. Josh was finally able to fix the mystery problem on my son's truck. Wasn't too expensive, communicated everything to us and only took a few days to hunt down the problem (the 2 other mechanics couldn't) and fix it. Lightfoot is sick with us now :)

I cannot give this mechanic's enough praise. My girlfriend introduced me to them a few years ago (she's been taking her cars there for 25 years)From the start, they have always been honest, more than fair with price, and gone out of their way to make me feel confident about their work they do on my car. Jim and Josh are amazing. I love these guys and I am sooo very grateful for having them as my mechanic. We take our cars there for everything, even a simple oil change, brake jobs, and most recently engine replacement. If you truly want a honest mechanic who won't overcharge and treat your car like their own, this is the place for you.

I was looking for an affordable and honest garage to have my Mustang checked and fixed as the Dealership and other repair shops in my neighborhood are just ridiculously expensive.A neighbor recommended Lightfoot's and I am so happy went with her advice. They are friendly and honest. I wanted my plug sparks changed and the first quote they gave me was actually a little higher than the final cost!Also had the car checked before a road trip and they said everything was fine. Totally recommended, they will have my business again whenever the silver bullet needs more fixing.

If you are looking for an honest mechanic Look no further!I moved to the area a couple years ago and have been to multiple mechanics where I ve left disappointed. I went to Lightfoot s Garage today because my AC stopped working for the second time in 13 months. I ve had a terrible time with this car and have spent so much money on temporary fixes the last few years!I showed up today without an appointment and Josh immediately greeted me. I explained to him what was going on and waited for him to diagnose the issue. We talked about all the issues I ve had with this car and he informed me that the fix would be between $900-$1800. He was patient and explained exactly what was wrong and why it would be so much to fix. Instead of trying to sell me $1800 worth of labor and parts, he told me that my car wasn t worth the money I had to put into it. He gave me advice and was so honest with me.Being a 20-something female going to the mechanic is always a little intimidating with a constant fear of being scammed. Josh easily could have tried to sell me $1800 worth of work, as many mechanics would.He didn t, and I m so grateful!I will definitely be back with a new car!

Best mechanics there are. Lowest prices. Friendly, professional, efficient, knowledgeable and expert. Been going there for years and I never have to worry about being taken advantage of. I highly recommend them. They take care of you like you're family. Josh Rocks!

They are the best! Jim and Josh are very honest, thorough and do good work. Their prices are fair too. Maybe you can find a bit cheaper elsewhere but I'm sure most are the same or more likely, more expensive. I appreciate that their timeframe is fairly quick as well. I trust them, their work & recommendations. Trusting your mechanic is gold!

I have been going to Lightfoot for years.I relocated to Dana point and this morning my check engine light went on. I called Jim and I took my car there and he took care of my situation right away. They are extremely professional, courteous and honest. I will take my car to them irregardless of where I relocate too. Thank you Jim!

Honestly, these guys are so honest they can tell me I brought in an entirely different car and I'd believe them. However, they would never do this. The most recent time I came to them I was having battery issues wouldn't hold a charge for Nothing so I took it to them. They had my car for a few hours and later told me that someone (probably Triple A technician) lossened the bolts on my battery. I asked what I owed them, I was prepared to pay a substantial amount. They only charged me for the time they took to look at my car which was minimal and I was so relieved that was all they were charging me. I appreciate this guys and I will continue going to them for as long as I have a car.

These guys are awesome. Jim, Josh and the crew bring it. We have a 12 year old Lexus that we bought used several years ago and things are starting to go. Who can afford new these days? The Lightfoot gang keeps it going. We (Joe & Lynn) fully trust them and it feels like family whenever we go there. They do great work on all manner of vehicles. We are grateful for being referred to them and we would just like to pay it forward. Having a great old vehicle that runs well, awesome!!! Having great mechanics that you can fully trust and treat you like family, Priceless!!!

I was so pleased with Jim and Josh of Lightfoot's Garage, and my visit there. Courteous, efficient, completely equipped to address any car problem, and reasonable in cost for excellent service are the impressions I walked away with.I'm so glad to find a garage I can trust. I'll be back!

Worst 2 thousand dollars I've spent in my life, took my car to get the front end done and figuered they where capable of an oil change. A day later my motor spits all 5 quarts of oil out and runs the motor dry on oil due to a fast over thought oil changed in which the oil filter was over tightened. I take my car back and said everything is fine and I have an exhaust leak... turns out all my journal bearings are smoked and my motor is toast.. they had my car two days just to stuff it full of 3 dollar cans of STP... geez thanks guys! If you want to waiste your money and get scammed! Come here!

jim lightfoots' is by far the best auto mechanic shop i've ever used . the whole experience , from start to finish is top notch !!! all you seem to hear from everybody else , is how bad they got screwed around by their mechanic or even worse , the dealers !!!another tell tale sign of a quality mechanic is the fact that jim has cars and trucks filling his shop and the surrounding area to the teeth.go check out plaza service at the shell station on western ave in PV.no cars waiting to be fixed cause they only care about charging you thru the arse and doing a crappy job....long live lightfoots !!!
