I needed a battery and a starter. Front office staff was professional and cordial. The process was quick, efficient, and value oriented (without compromising quality). Import Automotive is my "go to" for the service needs of my 2008 BMW X5.

They were great. I have a 2006 VW, diesel new beetle. My clutch went out. They replaced my clutch and it was very affordable.

Scott is the most trustworthy mechanic in the IE. He's such a nice guy and has great prices, treats everyone like they're family, and does great work! There's nobody else I would ever consider for any automotive work!

Love these guys. Took my old Mini JCW there a few times until the engine completely died on me. When it did, Kim was honest and told me it was probably time to let it go, instead of trying to convince me to spend thousands. Now we take our late model Volvo there. Their prices are always reasonable. Kim lets me know if anything looks concerning, but never tries to pressure us into anything. Our three year old son loves the place too, they let us hang out by the doors to watch all the busy mechanics, cars and loud tools. A trustworthy mechanic like Import Automotive is hard to find.

I like that they had me look for myself the issues in regards to my car. This place isn't cheap but you do get good Bang for your Buck.

Very professional location, Great customer service... They actually listen to my issues and what I was experiencing with the car unlike other locations where they assume you don t know what you are talking about. Came in to the shop to have my water outlet housing replaced on my 2006 Mazda 3. Gave me a an estimate to do the work they came under the expected budget so I also had my rear breaks done... very helpful through out the entire process. Would definitely come here again and would recommend it for anyone wanting to have so work done on their vehicle. To top it of they even washed my car... just great customer service all around. Thank you Import Automotive keep up the good work.

These guys are the best. I couldn't get my Kia into any dealership within 30 days and Import Automotive got me in the next morning. I have known the staff for about 20 years but owning a Kiss caused me to have a lesser need to see a mechanic ! However they were the same polite, professionals that I knew years ago. I trust them very much. They NEVER over charge or try to sell you repairs that aren't needed.They resolved my auto issues within hours and for a very competitive, affordable rates! I highly recommend them.

My car was having some major issues. After taking it to another mechanic, I called AAA and was referred to Import Automotive. I called immediately spoke with Kim, who was very helpful. I got my car to their shop, where it was briefly assessed. I was given a timeline of what to expect and left. Later that same day, I received a called and was given the diagnosis along with the options and timeline to when the work would be completed. True to their word, all the work was done on a timely manner. Kim was friendly and professional. I will definitely recommend and return to Import Automotive if/when my car needs work in the future.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

Been there yesterday s because my coolant of my car went very high, I worry my car engine will overheating. They charged me $125 for the diagnostic and says couldn t fix it. We have to call the tow truck company to come to tow my car to the dealership to get fixed. The dealership says they shouldn t charged $125 for just diagnostic and can t fix it, now I have to pay $219 for the dealership charged for diagnostic what s a scam, don t go to Import Automotive to fix your car because it s says they can fix anything but they don t for Europe s car. They were so helpful and informative at the beginning. They explained everything so I knew what to expect. They gave me two options and they were able to fix my car with the 1st option that was cheaper. When I got my car back they went the extra mile and fixed my squeaky door and gave me some tips on my AC which I asked about but didn t want to spend any extra cash. Import automative is amazing and I ll go there every time.

Kim and Mike and Grace and the rest of the Import Automotive team are the best repair shop in town. We ve been customers with this shop for over 20years and their expertise, reliability and integrity are standout.I ve never seen a cleaner shop. They take their work seriously and they take pride in what they do so well.

I previously left a great review a few years ago, but felt the need to change it. This place has changed a lot. The last time I took my vehicle to them, they were going to charge me about $700 dollars for 2 tires and a $48 valve. I told them what the problem was when I brought the car in. They ran a diagnostic to verify that I was correct, but the bill was still going to be too high even with the diagnostic. I understand and respect that they have a staff to pay and a shop to pay for, but $700 for 2 basic tires and a $48 valve? When I went to pay and pick up the vehicle, they adjusted the bill and made it more reasonable. But my problem is the attitude that I had to deal with. The attitude was loaded with arrogance and abrasiveness. Why do I have to ask, or almost demand, to be treated fairly? They already had me as a customer. All they had to do was treat me right to keep me.The next problem -- they replaced a radiator in one of our cars. When they put the fan back in and hooked it back up, they bent the ground tab in the connector. The fan worked for a while, then quit working recently. The vehicle started to overheat. Another shop is fixing this problem. So far, the other shop has treated us fairly without us having to ask for or demand it.I do not know what happened with Import Auto, but things have changed. Their attitude and the quality of their work have changed for the worse.RESPONSE TO IMPORT AUTO'S RESPONSE --I was quoted $700 over the phone to do the work. Like my review said, the bill was adjusted down. But you failed to address the heart of the problem: bad attitude, not treating your customers fairly, and poor quality of work. Read the reviews that your customers have left. I am not the only one that has mentioned the attitude problem with Kim. Either you will acknowledge the problem, or you won't. That is your decision. You had me as a customer. All you had to do is treat me right. You failed. Have a good day.

I love Import Automotive. They have helped me get my used Mini Cooper back into shape! I will be going to them any time I need something done with my vehicle! They are super quick and extremely friendly! I highly recommend taking your car there for great service from great people.

I have been going to Import Automotive for years. I've been there with an Audi I've been there with a Kia. I recommended them to my mom who has a BMW, so she is also now a long time customer as well. They give good advice and do great work for keeping your car in top shape for miles and miles.

Hated it. I would never take a car here. I'm disappointed in myself allowing them even touch my car. But I trusted AAA... I am thoroughly disappointed with this place. I dove over there they tell me they will check everything out. I'm worried something was rolling along the freeway and knocked up the underside of my car or my engine seized and possibly boke something since it had just suddenly stalled on the freeway. They showed me under the car, my radiator bent, oil leaks I noticed the dented oil pan they never even mentioned that. They said they would address the oil leaks. Literally told me at pick up call they think I shouldn't invest in it. On a lift told me they'd clean the engine they charged me for it after picking it up it was still an oil mess not clean at all. over charged for just putting a radiator in not even toped off with antifreeze... bought a $100 radiator charged up $300 they said they changed the oil... that night changed the oil on my own...oil was dirty. $100+ the frame was still bent up they charged me for bending it back. I spent all that night cleaning my engine myself, putting a new oil pan and then finally today went to add more anti freeze to add to their radiator while burping the line there is OIL inside! They left me to drive off telling me the Coolant System is Completly DONE! Let me DRIVE off with OIL IN MY RADIATOR! They'd let me drive off to destroy my engine! Now I'm needing to clean the radiator system....let alone not addressing the oil leaks told me to drive for a few days to come back and see the leaks. I came today I want this done I'd make time to let it be in the shop or I would have been doing it myself. Anyway with this horrible left overs I'm glad I didn't trust them to do more. Learn your machine do your own work less and less integious machanics out there now a days and more smooth talking jacks... disappointed. Cleaning a radiator system tonight...its been an extra couple hundred in my TIME alone to fix their mess. they charged me $700+. NEVER AGAIN pictured radiator hose burping oil... they never called never checked, never told me... quote "Coolant system is good" Thanks for leaving all the problems you could and stealing money. NEVER AGAIN Already updated AAA since it was reccomended through them. They ought to know they aren't a shop worth reccomending anymoreMonths later still having them under review horrible work and poor treatment toward my vehicle and I am still fixing the effects... horrible so much better places available no refunding or even partial for all the mess and lack of work they did. Keep fighting corrupt companies that take advantage. Horrible!

I stopped here after my car overheated, I was helped immediately by the owner. He checked my car and added some antifreeze, took it for a test drive and said that was all I needed. I asked what I owed and he said no charge. I was expecting a lot bigger problem costing big money. Instead I was given honesty, quick help, and no charge. I would highly recommend Import Automotive, especially for women. Usually we as women are leary taking our car to get it fixed, I have no hesitation recommending Import Automotive, Thank you for your help.

We have been looking for a trustworthy and honest Mech shop in the IE since we relocated from the High Desert. Shop Mngr Kim got our Rav4 V6 in and out with its minor parts replacement/repaired in under 8 hrs. Very professional, clean shop, and reasonably priced.Good looking out Import Automotive!

Been using Import Automotive for almost a year now. I really enjoy the customer service from Kim and the thorough work he does. This is the second time I ve dropped my vehicle off before business hours and they were able to get my problem fixed by the time I was done with work that day. This last time they gave me a great deal and even surprised me with a clean car when I picked it up! Where to start? AAA picked my car up on 10/7/2018 and dropped it off at Import. The next day I received a call from Kim telling me to call him, because he wanted to run something by me .Rather than call, I went in and Kim pitched to me the idea of leaving the insurance out of it, because my rates would go up, It s only $900 to fix the car and everyone has a little front end body damage these days, and the insurance companies are so difficult . I heard Kim out and declined his offer. I told him to let the insurance handle it. I haven t had a claim in over 10 years, they can pay a little something. Besides, I m not ok with a little body damage ! Fix my car!!!!Now the games start. Import Auto say on my car until 10/18/2017 and the. Contacted me to tell me they could t do they work and that the car needs taken to another shop, BUT please let Geico know that they have initial inspection and storage fees! Hahaha. WHAT!?!?I arrived home Friday night and because they re closed weekends, I picked the car up Monday. The car was delivered to a REAL shop where I signed a limited POA and they are handleing everything. Body damage, outsourcing repairs, all of it!I nearly forgot! When I picked my car up from Import Automotive there was a nice 6 scratch on the passenger side door. That s great!Needless to say, I do not recommend this business. They do not know what they are doing. They do not know how to deal with insurance companies and they will find every way possible to rip you off.I have filed a lawsuit against this company (Kim, you guys should be getting served within the next few days) as well as complaints with AAA and Geico. This company should not be allowed to operate. They are the reason all of us independents have a bad rap. It s the shops like this that ruin it for the rest of us.BEWARE AND STAY AWAY

I of course know nothing about cars. I m an ED/Trauma nurse who can basically bring you back from the brink of death, put you back together, hold your family close and keep doctors from their errors. But man I m just lost when it comes to a car. I also sing. I had to be on vocal rest for two full weeks and of course right before I ran into a traffic cone. Had no idea the damage it would do. I appreciate import automotive. They were real with my Uncle, brother who thought their work was great! They worked with me patiently waiting for me to type out my questions on a computer. I d go back for everything. I enjoy the small town feel. That s probably my favorite part. They re not in the rush and cooperate greed game. Just have a passion for helping others! Thank you guys!

Car scientists. Honest, straightforward, and they look at the big picture and clearly describe your choices. You might find a way to spend less money to get back on the road again short term but I never (for 29 years now) look elsewhere. They do lots of hi end cars ... but also for example my Tacoma. Get them to stop working for a moment or two and you'll see they are wonderful people too.

Not the cheapest, but they do quality work on warranty that will save you money in the long run. I have never returned for rework on maintenance done by them on my 97 Audi or 01 BMW. BMW has a tendency to throw a lot of system lights for things that have nothing to do with the light that lit up. For example, my ABS light came on followed by check engine and several others. They called me back and told me a air hose came loose and was a cheap, easy fix. Many other places could have easily told me there were major problems with the braking system and gouged me.

My car had a difficult problem and these folks stayed on it until it was fixed. They did a great job of keeping me informed all along the way. No one else will take care of my car.
