Henry is one of the best out there. Won't try to sell you on unnecessary service and will refuse to service your car if it doesn't need it. Incredibly nice staff and they get it done. Oil change is done in less than 30 minutes. Really happy with the service here.

They are not a body shop. I gave my car to Henry and he gave my car to someone else. I went 4 times in 2 weeks and my car was not in shop and after that someone else drove car to shop from outside.Henry gave my car to some other body shop and they both made money on same job. I paid 3 times more. I took my car to Brendas body shop in Redlands and seidners body shop in loma linda ,both shops gave me estimates on the work and it was 3 times cheaper. I SEND MY RELATIVES AND FRIENDS THERE AFTER THAT.HENRY RIPPED ME OFF.I WILL NEVER GO THERE.Nov 2023.Service: Auto body & trim repair

I paid 3 times more than what other shops offered me.I will never go there again.They do mickey mouse job all Asian shops in that area. I came here about a year ago during the summer to get my AC fixed and without a doubt Henry and his hardworking crew saved my butt!!! His pricing was by far, among all automotive places in the area, the most affordable. Along with being the most affordable he gave me warranty just in case anything went wrong down the road. He was so kind and explained everything that was going to be done which is so helpful for a gal that doesn't know jack about cars! They listen to your concerns, they are very professional, and take their work very seriously. I will absolutely be returning here and recommending this place to friends and family!

This repair shop lives up to its name. Henry is a great mechanic and a good person who charges fair prices for his services. His experience is unparalleled. He has gotten my car fixed countless times since 2018, and I still use him as my go-to mechanic. Great service for much less than my dealership or auto body place would have charged me. I had a fender issue that he was able to fix in less than a couple hours, I would have had to wait days to get it fixed anywhere else and for an extremely reasonable price.

Hey so I had to go to five star auto in Loma linda to replace my alternator. Henry and his crew were super helpful and Courteous. They put my alternator in in about two hrs. And gave us a super deal. I would recommend coming to five star auto. They will work with you.

Got oil change done because they had good reviews. They were able to do it very quickly.My oil was running very low and was black. It seems like they did not completely drain the existing oil and just added on top not paying attention to the max level. $60 + tax. Not going back.

Henry is a very polite and trusting man. We explained to him we live over 50 miles away and we re hoping not to have to wait long to fix our car.. within 2 hours he had us back on the road. I found this business to be unreliable, changing completion dates repeatedly. Prior to taking my car to this Henry my car was regularly serviced in another State, I had no issue. Once I started visiting his shop after every visit a new problem arises. After the last visit, as I drove away the car started miss firing. I took it back to Henry and he said it sounds like the engine is losing air. I got another opinion and the spark plugs just needed to be changed. He charged me to fix an engine leak and a coolant leak, the car was still leaking even after he claimed that he fixed it. Please do not put yourself through this incompetent headache.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Have been calling since yesterday to get a quote.Finally got someone to give me one, 715 dollars for an alternator to be replaced on a 99 DeVille. Asked how much the parts and labor were so... As follows 400 for the alternator 315 for labor which she said was a three hour job. Ok so an alternator with a lifetime warranty for this car is around 150. So 250 for markup on the part and 105 dollars an hour. SMH.So I say ok I will bring u the alternator then there is no warranty on work. ??? Ok don't think they could botch an alternator job, obviously the part can't be guaranteed by them. So I say ok when can I bring it in? We have no time till maybe next week ..There a Rip off. Not an honest shop avoid at all costs!!!

Henry is such a nice and down to earth guy. He looked at my car right when I brought it in and had it fixed by the next day. I had it checked by the Car Doctors previously and when I brought it to Henry he gave it the same diagnosis it on the spot without me telling him anything. And his prices are extremely reasonable! The Car Doctors quoted me $1300 for new motor mounts and to repair oil leaks; Henry did it for $330!! He explained everything that he was doing clearly and didn't try to rip me off. For fast, honest work go to Henry! He will be my go-to mechanic from now on!He even personally gave me a ride back to my place that was not too far from the shop (I was willing to walk back) and picked me up when my car was ready since I lacked transportation. He really looks out for his clients and is a genuinely nice person.

Ok listen up people if you take your car here for standard repairs be warned they will mess around with components to make other issues arise so they can get more work. We took our vehicles here for years and numerous issues continued to happen. When we said we will just sell our vehicle you can tell he didnt want us to because he was just milking all the money he could from us knowing the condition of the car.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection

I needed some bumper work done to my new Infiniti. I am new to the area and I have a hard time trusting new clients to work on my cars. However there was something about Henry that made me really trust him. I was not wrong to do so. He restored my bumper back to normal without any hassle at a fraction of the price. Please go here first before you try any other places.

They were just awesome. Hubby and i are so grateful that the tow guy recommended us this place! Our pick up was towed to this auto shop, as, it would not start about a week ago. Mr.Ade, the brother of the owner, was the one who liaised with me with regards to the work that needed to be done on the vehicle. The work was done expeditiously and i was told that i could retrieve the vehicle soonest, however, i was unable to and my husband would only be available after 6pm. Mr.Henry, the owner waited till after 6 for us to arrive to do so and it was a relief to see him and his staff, Ismail all smiles despite being in a rush to go home. Mrs.Henry was also understanding of the situation we were in with regards to retrieving the pick up and overall, although it was a daunting experience for me, they made it bearable. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone. As the name suggests, they ARE 5 stars and we will be back again for sure for other services to be done to our vehicle!

I bought Groupon oil change went to the place 3 consecutive days the store was closed. No phone answer no notice for the customers. In total I spent 7 hrs the shops to open in 3 days. Finally I contacted Groupon to complain about it. Now my wife did buy another deal with out me knowing from them. Calling the place to have appointments no answer. If you are not in business you have to let ppl know about. Time is preciousnes

One day, I had a problem starting my car. I found out that my alternator is dead. Henry changed it the same day and quoted me a good price for an original part from Japan for my Toyota. He also charged my batter and filled up my gas tank. He does an amazing job and always reasonable.

Henry is really good at detecting the problem and fixing it fast and efficient. He is also reasonable with pricing. Trustworthy and kind person. He fixes both my son's cars Audi and Lexus at a good price compared to dealers who rip us off.

The owner Henry stopped on the Ca210 on March 25 2020 to see if he could help as we were stranded there for approximately 8 hrs.As it happened a tow truck was finally on the way and arrived as I was talking with him.The auto club was also instructed to send a vehicle to tow my trailer with a collector car inside; but as theyhad neglected to do so Henry stepped up and said he would go to his shop (7 miles) get his SUV and tow the trailer to his compound.By the time the 3 axle tow truck driver dropped the drive shaft off of my Class A diesel pusher he was back and I decided to have the unit towed to his yard.Long story but as I was trying to decide if Henry was the real deal he mentioned that he repairs anything.In order to not have to tow the units again in the morning (Thursday March 26) I took him at his word.He and his crew got to work on my ruptured radiator problem and tore the rear of the unit down and in the meanwhile he was on the phone looking for new, rebuilt or used as the Motorhome is built on a 1992 OshKosh chassis.He found one in San Diego and had it shipped overnight and the rest is history.We were on our way back to Canada by 1:45PM. on Saturday March 28 and made it back to Canada by 9:30PM. Monday March 30 2020.We had to push hard to travel 1305 Miles in 55hrs. and the job was done perfectly, no leaks or rattles.Thank you Henry you truly are a Highway Angel.And the price was most reasonable too!

Henry (owner) fixed up my car multiple times and also my dad's car, i went somewhere else to get inspection for my car and charged me about $1,500. so i came here and listed down everything what was inspected and they only charged me about $350.He also fixed my car door, which stopped detecting my locks. it was slow but i only waited for 2 hrs.and he even did some body work of my dad's car, that was messed up on both doors, 1 is in the passanger seat and 1 on the backseat right door. a family friend who was willing to do it for $2,000, but Henry was willing to fix it for $900.. he did it flawlessly with the matter of less than 2 weeks. he's been my go-to mechanic ever since.

Was shopping around for clutch replacement. Two other places gave me a timeframe of 1.5 days and a cost way more than I expected; not only that, those shops couldn't fit me in for 3 to 4 days. Henry and his crew had me in the same day and replaced my clutch and front shocks in 6 hours for the same cost the other shops quoted me just for the clutch. If you're looking for honest and fast and very well priced service, there is no other place to go in the Loma Linda/Redlands area

I called and asked how much for a diagnostic and was told $65 but was then asked by henry what kind of car and what was the problem. I told him a 98 accord and it was overheating. So he said only $30. I took it to him and told him everything I had already done and the tests I already did and also explained both fans wouldn't come on at all without the A/C. He called me about 2 hours later stating he found the problem which was the temperature sensor and/or coolant sensor. And he also said the fans did come on supposedly after leaving the car running for a while without the a/c. Well that same day I switched both parts he told me it would be and it still overheated. And my fans still didnt come on after 30 minutes of letting it idle!!! After doing a compression test myself I found out it was a cracked head gasket. So this man took my money and gave me a false diagnosis, just be aware that they wont take the time to properly diagnose if you aren't spending big bucks with them. Oh and those 2 parts he told me they were, he wanted to charge me $100 for parts and labor, parts are $50 and literally only get unscrewed and you screw in the new ones. So he wanted to charge me $50 for not even 5 minutes of work!!

Very reasonable price for my oil changed. I also had another issue that they took care of with no extra cost. They took my car to check on the same day I called when two other shops I checked with would not. I will for sure return to this auto shop.

I was driving through and my engine light came on . I called this place and he was able to see me and check to see if the light was a computer thing or if it really needed something fixed . But he fixed and didn t charge me ! And was able to fit me in at last minute . Very polite , prompt and honest !Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

I would give ZERO stars to Henry, the owner of the repair shop, if I could.Henry is unreliable and false. He told me my motor needed rebuilt. He said he could do the job. But he couldn t. He got the engine apart, in pieces, on his work bench. But then he NEVER fixed it. He had the car for over a year, and simply did not work on it. He would TELL me he was working on it but that was blatantly UNTRUE. I would go to the shop and see that he was NOT working on it. He repeatedly told me dates it would be done but he did not even try to work on it after making those promises (his word) to me.I finally had to have it towed away, engine in pieces.If you need a motor rebuild, I urge you to NOT take it to Henry at Five Star Auto Repair.
