I went to this place and they charged me $70 for the smog. My car failed. When they gave me the paperwork for the test I noticed that the car had passed everything but in the section that said result, it said not ready , OBDII. I asked the tech what that was about and he said that it was probably a leak. He then told me that for $140 he would do a diagnostic check to pinpoint the problem. I declined. After speaking to a few youtube certified mechanics, I found out that the result didn't mean that anything was wrong it just meant that I had to drive the car around to get the vehicle's system ready. So after a few days I did that. Took it to a place on Pacific here in Stockton and after paying $38 dollars and waiting 15 minutes the car passed with no problems. Beware of these guys in Lodi. Look their history up and you'll see that they keep changing their business name to avoid the tons of bad reviews.

I went there to have a AC charge and vacuumed out and it turns out that we hadn't plugged in the unit to begin with and he plugged it in for no charge it was really hard to get to also he did a great job AC works great and he also is giving me a discount on my smog so I got to give them five five stars works great and now he's giving me a discount on my smog a smog

My warranty company told me to come here and once there the guy had all these other supposed problems with my vehicle that had nothing to do with the check engine code it was producing. And of course these problems weren t covered by my warranty and would cost approximately $400 each. I don t know if their legit but it definitely didn t sit well with me.

Did not honor my Groupon Coupon as they said the Place is under a new name & does not honor the Tokay Star Smog Groupon Coupon !!!! Paid full price for the Star Smog Check Ip !!!! Groupon is not responding to my requests for refund. Fast, efficient and friendly. I drove in and asked if I needed an appointment and was told I can but it is not necessary. They got right on it and within 10 minutes I was driving home. I will be returning for other services they offer as I need them.

My mechanic advised me to go to this place. I see online they charge $31.95 for a smog. Well,they charged me $70 & wanted me to do a diagnosic on it for another $80 when I didnt pass. I passed on their opinion. Went to see my mechanic & no repairs were needed. I just had to drive the drive cycle a few times.

They initially told me the cost was between $35-40. Later the invoice said $93. When I questioned him he said the 35 was the time to wait. When I told him $93 was too much he said $60. Beaware of scam. Very terrible experience. First tried to charve me 180 dollars for smog , then when I told them others taking 40 dollars. Then they corrected amount and told me, we are giving you discount. Not a good business ethics.

Service was quick but if you do not read the small print on the coupon they will price gouge you and charge you over double their price and $30-40 more than their competitors
