After initially having a less then great experience with the folks over at Sanborn Chevy, Paul & San where determined to make it right & they did. I am pleased with their effort to make amends & we were able to make a deal on the vehicle I was looking for. Overall very pleased with the service & courtesy of these two gentleman.

My car broke down in a month after buying. I bought it to transport my paraplegic daughter, I bought it straight out but couldn't purchase an extended warranty in fear of not being able to make the payments. The little warranty that was on it was just up. Your service department stepped up and helped me fix the car. You helped me save my job and support my daughter. For free, I will be back whenever I need service. I will be bringing my car there for service in the future. I am not usually in a position where money is a problem. But the one time I was. YOU GUYS WERE THERE!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Jason Durbin was very helpful and did not pressure us. He took his time to explain all the features on the truck before we decided to make the purchase. Jason's friendly and low key approach was very comforting and helped put us at ease during the entire purchasing process.

Angelo is the best sales person you guy can have we had been looking for trucks for over a month and on sunday we went to the dealership and Angelo received us the day we went a truck we were looking was not ready so two days after he let us know it was ready and we were on our way to another dealership to purchases a truck but his honestly made us decided to purchase the truck with him and we ended up buying a higher trim level truck then the one we saw first. he explains everything really good . The day of the purchase angelo was with another s customer and he had ricardo helped us he helped us with everything he stayed there until we left , I totally recomend you this place ask for Angelo or Ricardo you wont regret it.. finance guy Manny was so friendly too and explain everything very good .

Recently purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. As I was driving an hour to get here I wanted to make sure my time was not wasted. San was my sales rep, and he was wonderful! I stated the price I was willing to pay for the vehicle prior to driving out (assuming condition was as described). San spoke to management and called me back promptly letting me know that they would agree to the price.When I arrived to look at the vehicle it was parked in front waiting for me. I was allowed to test drive alone with my wife (it was a two seater). At my request, they cleaned the car to inspect for damage. It was only dusty, but I wanted to make sure I was aware of any minor damage. We agreed to the purchase. San and his team had the paperwork drafted and I was on my way promptly.The best part of the service was that a few days later I received a package from the dealer. Inside was the owner's manual. I was not aware that it was not in the car, but they had. Without hesitation they mailed it to my home address. Great experience!

First time buying a vehicle from Sanborn. Our experience started when my wife stopped by last week to see a specific vehicle. Kevin showed her the car, answered her questions, and let her take a test drive. His demeaner was warm and inviting. We returned yesterday so I could drive the car. Kevin wasn't in so Erick helped us out. He was also warm and inviting. At no time did we feel like we were being rushed or hustled. I made a single offer that I felt was reasonable. I also told him I wasnt a buyer for any additional products. Erick got the deal approved in minutes and Manny in finance did not try to upsell me on anything. It was one of the smoothest auto purchase transactions I've been through. Total time from test drive to contract was about 2 hours. We saw other vehicles at other dealerships for less money but Kevin's positive first impression stuck and we decided we wanted to try and make a deal at Sanborn. Thanks again to Kevin, Erick, and Manny for a great experience.

Purchased a used car for my daughter from Sanborn Chevrolet, March 2023, with additional warranties/oil changes to protect our expensive purchase. Early on the passenger fender popped out. A rep at Sanborn punched the fender saying all you have to do is punch it and it will pop right back in , seriously? Fender popped back out. It was a broken clip. Replaced it, but broke again. Rep said this is just something that s going to keep happening. There s no way, otherwise there should ve been a recall. Rita the manager stepped in and resolved this back and forth issue. End of September, took the car to Sanborn for the first oil change. When finished they gave my daughter a $99 bill. She told them the oil change was covered, but they still kept enforcing the charge. My daughter had work and didn t have time to keep arguing so she just paid for it. I called to find out why they charged her. They said Oh yea there shouldn t have been a charge which we knew. They said it would be refunded. Waited a few days for the return to reflect but never happened. Called to inquire on the status and they said Oh yea, you have to come in with the card you paid with. Which was never said. The car was driven on 10 minute trips to work, one way. New Years Eve the car was driven to the bay area. Coming home the car started sputtering and shut down. Called a tow through Portfolio Sanborn s warranty service, another ordeal in itself. Car got to Sanborn, was told I would receive a call the next day and didn t. I called the following day and our rep was out sick, understandable but asked what happened to yesterday but no answer for that. Finally received a call 3 days later saying they d finally start looking at the car. Was told there s an internal engine issue and it needed further review. I called to speak to a manager and spoke with Mike who was very rude/dismissive and said I can t help you . Tried calling again for a manager. They kept putting me on hold then would hang up. Finally someone answered the phone rudely and basically yelled at me Sanborn Chevrolet can you please hold? I wish someone could ve heard the way this person answered the phone because all I can say is, WOW. I told them I ve been trying to hold but it kept hanging up on me and they quickly put me on hold again. When they picked up, I asked their name and they said Jason which happened to be the manager. I was shocked. He was so rude through the entire conversation and said he would follow up. I saw previous reviews about Mike and Jason s rude behavior which is disappointing. Then received a call from our rep, Albert, that the engine oil plug was missing and he asked me if I hit something. I said no, why? He said there was a bunch of wood pieces under the car. We scheduled an appointment to meet with the manager and see what they saw. Showed up and the manager wasn t there due to being sick, which I m still understanding but here we are again. No one called to reschedule to avoid yet another inconvenience. It ended up being only one wood piece caused by the tow truck using wooden chocks to load the car onto the bed. Albert said oh yea I know they use those. He then asked if it could be vandalism. So they tried to make up 2 random theories to pass the blame on what happened instead of focusing on the obvious fact that Sanborn Chevrolet was the last place to touch that engine oil bolt during the oil change. I read there s a potential for a bolt to come out due to heat expansion if the bolt was over tightened or re-installed improperly, also that it takes about 15 mins for engine oil to fully heat to operating temperatures. The car ran at operating temp for a longer period of time going to the bay. I still have yet to speak to a professional manager about the end result of them not taking responsibility and them kind of just saying they re a perfect shop and this no way could be on them. I ve left messages. Albert just keeps saying I m the middle man. Worst customer experience ever and I won t be doing any future business with Sanborn nor recommend them.

Friendly staff. I was in and out within 30 minutes. The fastest and smoothest oil change service I have ever had. They didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary things which I appreciate.

Please get rid of the television, serves no purpose-people are on their PHONES. Like me people are checking emails, etc.Main reason I m here is I TRUST you with my four vehicles!Lastly, Brad is always helpful and courteous. While waiting, l listen to how he treats other customers. I hope your paying him enough!

Hands down the best car buying experience I ve personally had or even witnessed. Angelo was amazing starting with my first phone call. He was very welcoming and accommodating through the entire process. I didn t feel pressured, he explained everything, he listened which is extremely important and a hard quality to find in people these days and most importantly I didn t feel like he was playing games and wasting my time. I told him what I could do and they made it happen. Everyone at Sanborne was fantastic, I really appreciate how hard the finance guy worked to make my dream come true. He stayed late to make this happen for me and even came over at the end to shake my hand and congratulate me. He definitely worked his magic! I absolutely love my new car, it was meant for me and when the time comes for me to buy another one I ll will definitely be back! Thank you again to awesome team at Sanborne Chevorlett you guys rock!

I brought my car in Tuesday morning, for problems with my water pump. the nice man to help me was Andrew he got my car in the day and called me Wednesday, to tell me there was a recall on my water pump. So it didn't cost me anything. This is the second time I have brought my car to them and Andrew is always the one to help me out.with a great attitude and being vary understanding

Took my suburban in for a recall repair. Everyone was very helpful. Had a concern at pick up and again everyone was very helpful.This is a busy service shop, but everyone was working diligently to help customers. Great attitudes.

When I mentioned I wanted an oil change and tire rotation the kid asked if I purchased the vehicle there. I responded no and was told the price would be $130. Not that it matters but I had purchased vehicles there previously. The tread on my tires were too low so the tire rotation couldn t be done. No problem. Told an oil change alone would be $106. I needed to have it done so I went into the waiting room. I happened to look at Sanborn s website and an oil change for my vehicle was posted at $75.95. The kid at the register only charged me that when I pointed it out but if I hadn t looked I would have been over charged. Not a good business practice. I won t be back and if people ask me I will definitely let them know.

Will and I would like to thank Angelo, Linda, Mike and Kini for just an awesome experience. The journey from start to finish took over a year and a half. Throughout that time, I was given regular updates and kept informed about the progress of my car. All of my questions were answered timely and professionally. The day I took delivery, everything was in place and the process was very smooth. I was greeted by everyone enthusiastically and I could tell that they were genuinely excited for me. Thank you all for everything!!

Jason is awesome, highly recommend. This dealership is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure to interact with. They sent us a link so that we knew exactly when a car was available to order. They were very transparent with pricing. And they worked with us from out of state so that we could get the car when we moved to California.

Everyone is so nice and so helpful, (Even though they are extremely busy they take their time to help you) and with my husband being disabled they were exceptional, everyone who helped in the service department were awesome. Alfredo drove me home as I needed to leave my car there for the day, unfortunately it had to stay an extra day, which was a bit challenging for me as its our only vehicle, but on the next day they got it completed and drove my car to me at home. What a true blessing of customer service. And because of a family friend that had worked there, is why we purchased our vehicle from Sanborn, we thank you. Rick and Denise Coats.

Jason and the entire service department are amazing. We live in Modesto and anytime our vehicles need service Jason and his staff pick up, and drop off our vehicle. The service and repairs are always completed on time and correctly the first time. I highly recommend Sandborn for service and sales. The purchase of our new Blazer went quickly. Lastly, the dealership has easy access from the freeway.Wish the review had 10 stars!
