What ever you do, do NOT ever go to Pep Boys. They never have their "master technicians" available so if you need a simple tire with a nail repaired, you will need 4 to 5 hours before they will see you. The biggest issue is their tire repair warranty they "have". I paid for all my tires to be covered if there is damage done to the tires. Typical for most tire places. I picked up a nail and brought it into them only to have them try and charge me $600 to replace both front tires. Both of these tires are less than 1 year old with 15,000 miles on them. Either way, they were being kind and offered me $70 off the new tires. They cost would still be $300 AFTER the coverage kicked in. I made the mistake of coming to them when they had the buy 3 and get 1 free deal. Now I realize how dumb I was. NEVER use these guys unless you want to pay more later. I ended up leaving and went to America's Tire Co and install 2 new tires with new real warranties for $590. The tires were higher rated and the people actually treat you like a person there. I can't stress enough to make sure you don't ever use Pep Boys again.

I had a flat tire, so for emergency I stopped by here for the first time.Although they did not have my size tire available for the same day service, they contacted with a nearby independent garage shop immediately.And they pumped extra air into the flat tire for the short ride. They all volunteered all these for me. Very quickly.I was able to get my tire serviced in 10 minutes at the referred shop.What a kind and thoughtful service by this Pep Boys!I really appreciate them.You saved my day.

I normally don't give 5 stars but I have to applaud the manager, Allison Becker, at the Lodi Pep Boys location. She was very knowledgeable and courteous! I highly recommend this shop based solely on how she treated me as a customer! The work was done quickly and she even noted items that no one else told me about. A big thank you Alison..I'm one happy customer!

Customer service with Allison was outstanding!. She takes the time to explain the service that needs to be done and explains the work that needs to be completed in the future. The mechanic who serviced my car did a good job. I will continue to bring my vehicles here. I highly recommend this business.

My car Temp light lit up on HW12 going west near Lodi around 5 pm on Saturday, 7/8/23.I have a 2003 Buick Regal. I was an hour from my destination. My car was leaking coolant and there was no coolant pressure it seemed.Everybody was closed Saturday night and nobody was open on Sunday for service except Pep Boys in Lodi so I made a 2:30 pm appointment for a coolant system evaluation. Allison, the manager called me Sunday morning before the store opened, on her day off, to advise me to bring in the car as early as possible. We had it towed there by 10:50 am.On Sunday they said I had a broken bypass pipe leaking coolant, clogged radiator with sludge which probably caused the pipe to heat and crack, so needed a new radiator, cracked upper intake manifold and leaking lower intake manifold gasket. They gave me a reasonable estimate to replace the radiator, replace the upper intake manifold, replace the lower intake manifold gasket, new upper and lower radiator hoses. Alfredo, the weekend manager, informed me of the repairs and cost and I hoped to get repaired by Monday.The mechanic, Noel, tried to finish it Monday and was going to stay late but couldn t finish it. He came in on his day off on Tuesday to finish the repairs and my car was done by Noon.I was very impressed by the customer service by Allison, Alfredo and Noel to try to get my car repaired and back to me. I had to rent a car because I lived 1 1/2 hours away so was able to return the car after a 2 day rental. Noel had great expertise to do the repairs and I was so impressed by this Pep Boys store.I was told by Allison they are certified to do all types of repairs except transmissions. I feel confident about Noel repairing my car since I went in and saw his work while he was working on my intake manifold. He already had the inside of the intake manifold all clean and nice looking when I saw it. My car is running great after I got it back. I highly recommend the Pep Boys in Lodi for your car repair needs.

Left my car all day just to get it back worse than I left it. It was almost impossible to get an appointment to begin with.I understand my car had issues but I didn t expect them to get worse lol.Sold me a camber adjustment bolt even though the camber was already in spec beforehand. Complete waste of time and ripped off $200.They also said they recommended me some parts and I denied service (they called me and never mentioned any of this) .

I was not happy I had to leave my car for over 5 hrs to just get my tire patched. They said you may have to wait until the end of the workday and couldn't guarantee any pickup time. If you pay for a warranty you shouldn't have to wait all day to get a service you pay for. I'm sure it has to do with staffing but not good when you drop off your car and you may get to pick it up at 7 pm. The work was fine but the wait time was not.

I had a great experience getting an oil change and it was reasonably priced! Michael, Fernando, and Andrew did a great job! They were all incredibly nice and worked so efficiently.

DO NOT GO HERE MICHAEL WILL RIP YOU OFF THEY WILL PURPOSELY CAUSE PROBLEMS TO YOUR VEHICLE JUST FOR YOU TO COME BACK AND PAY MORE MONEY IM PRETTY SURE THE MECHANICS THERE AREN'T EVEN ASE CERTIFIED THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN DO NOT GO HERE YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!! I went there to replace 4 tires and the cabin filter. They were way more busy than usual. Although being short staffed because of all the customers they were very attentive. The lady working the service counter kept me up to date on the progress of my vehicle checking with me 3 or 4 times during the process. The mechanic, in my opinion, went above and beyond with his work also.

The service was excellent. I was very satisfied learn some new things and the mechanic was very professional showed me the old parts so told me what was happening and noticed a big difference with the car. I will recommend anyone to go to this location and Lodi and they will take care of you and give you the best customer service possible.

Allison is amazing - she is so knowledgeable and customer service dedicated. I can go in this location of Pep Boys (Lodi, CA) with absolute TRUST that when I leave my car is SAFE because this location and staff are TRUSTWORTHY. They are not deceptive because they know I WILL ALWAYS BE BACK, as long as Allison (my car doctor) is there to lead this location.

I went in for a car inspection and I was attended right away from a friendly staff and the service was very good all because Allison made sure to address all my concerns and went above and beyond To guarantee I left with all the solutions to my issues. Great communication and I ll be definitely coming back.

I chose Pep Boys over Lodi Toyota, which at the time was owned by Lithia, and I could tell the service was far better. They only charged a fraction of what Lodi Toyota would have charged me. Thank you for saving me and providing excellent service.

Noel is a fabulous mechanic, celebrating 20 years with Pep Boys. I love that he is always available to work on my vehicles. He knows them inside and out. I get very personalized service at the Lodi store and it is always a worry free experience. Thank you!

Pepboys really came through for us today. My car was acting up. Of course on Sunday and not much is available, but thankfully pepboys is open. They ran a diagnostic and found a few pretty major things going on such as the serpentine belt cracked and NO brake fluid or coolant. Crazy because we regularly go to jiffy lube for oil changes and those things should've been caught by them. They fixed everything and we had our car back in 2 hrs. So appreciated the fast service and I thought the price was decent too.

I called the day before and made an appointment for a wheel alignment at 2 pm the next day. When I arrived I was told it would be an up to 2 hour wait instead of the usual 45 minutes to complete the alignment because they had another vehicle on their only alignment rack. I asked if I could go and come back then, and she said no, that I would lose my place in line because someone was scheduled at 3 pm. There was no apology offered for the delay. I left it anyway and my vehicle wasn't done for 2 hrs. and 45 minutes! And I had to call to find that out. Then I got their text stating it was done. I asked if someone would come and give me a ride back to the shop. I was told they don't offer that service. I got a Lyft ride back to the shop. There was no apology offered for the long wait. I was given a report when I picked up the vehicle that clearly showed one thing was still not in alignment. I called the next day to ask about it, and the guy told me I could come in and speak to the technician and he would explain the report. I went into the shop and there was just one person at the front desk, so I told her I had a question about my alignment report. She waited for me to say what my question was, so I showed her the report and said one item was not aligned and that didn't seem right. She told me that item could not be aligned. I explained I had paid for an alignment, so it didn't make sense that one item was not aligned. She again said that it could not be aligned. I really expected to talk to the technician, but this is not what happened. She insisted she was right. On the report it was clearly noted as being out of range and printed in RED! There was no attempt to listen to my concern, I was treated rudely and told there are a lot of other places I can go, when I expressed my dissatisfaction with my whole experience with them.
