Jim was very helpful and gave exceptional service. After hitting something on I5, the undercarriage on my car popped out and was scraping along the road. His shop was one of the only places in town open after 5:00 PM, and even though the tow truck didn t get us to the shop until just before closing, Jim was eager and willing to help us. He was very friendly and was able to re-attach the undercarriage to the bottom of my car quickly, getting us back on the road as soon as possible. We will certainly remember his shop the next time we pass through.Service: Auto body & trim repair

Very knowledgeable. He was able to fix the problem the same day and did his best to get it done for the lowest cost. He also give advise for what to expect on a smog check on a vehicle for the 90's. I don t leave many reviews and a five star review from somebody that did not work on. My car seems strange, but I called When I broke down driving from Seattle to Phoenix, I pulled over in Lodi. The guy on the phone told me he had already scheduled lots of cars from previous appointments and couldn t help me, but spent the next 15 helping me by telling me what could be wrong with my car what to look for What to have another mechanic look for and not look for and approximately how much the part would cost for my problem.

Brought my van in because it was running rough and had the engine light on. Returned, my van was in excellent shape with quality work put in to it. Jim is a awesome mechanic and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for professional work done on there car. MuchLove Jim! -Jared

The owner Jim is the most honest mechanic I've ever come across, I've only ever heard good things about him so I started coming to him for my auto repair needs, he'll tell you exactly what you need done, what you don't need done, and what you COULD have done, prices are more than fair (best in lodi I believe) and I've yet to have an issue on my 4runner since going to him for anything I need! Jim is a great mechanic. If you want your car repaired right the first time, he's your man. Comparable rates and he doesn't overcharge. He's such a good mechanic that sometimes he can't get you in right away- but it's worth the wait. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else!

By far the best mechanic I've dealt with. Jim (owner and mechanic at Joe's Auto Repair) is honest, trustworthy, and thorough. He always takes the time to discuss all options. He has a more than fair labor rate and is very honest and open with his cost on parts. Many mechanics will try to get you to do additional/unnecessary work done, but not Jim. He always does a through inspection, and communicates the condition of the car, lets you know what he sees will need attention in the near future etc.Myself, my family, and many of my friends have been going to Jim for all of our car maintenance/repairs for the past 6 years and we swear by him. I have peace of mind going to Jim.

Jim is always going the extra mile for his customers. Most of them have been his customers for MANY YEARS. I believe that says a lot about the company and its owner. Jim always provides quality auto repairs at an affordable price.

The best auto shop! Right off the bat you can tell that they re honest and won t give you the run around and they actually care about their customers. My van broke down on the freeway and they had me up and running in a day even though they were busy. I can't say enough about the owner, I have called him at least 3-4 times about my sports car. I haven't taken it in but every question I have had he has answered no problem, he takes his time to help you. I would give him 100 stars if I could, amazing customer service.The lady with the firebird

The mechanic/owner did a thorough job! Any time I have a question or concern or need him to check something out he makes time for me. And he explains what's going on with my car! I liked the service he gave me I even took my car back for a break job! Thank you Joes Auto Repair!

I have been trying for 2 months to get my truck serviced. I know the cars being worked on righy now can't be before mine. Jim is great when he does work on my truck but having to wait months is ridiculous!

Busy shop, 1 man operation. Cluttered parking lot with unregistered broken down vehicles. Jim is honest hard worker and knows what he's doing. I recommend this shop
