Ask for Ezekiel! He s the man. We dropped in with no appointment for a smog and he had us in and out in no time. The price was great, service was professional and he s definitely earned himself a repeat customer!

They charged my wife $94 for a smog check on a hyundai Tucson with 40k miles on it. I thought the price seemed steep but after a quick google search they have a smog coupon for $38. I will be contacting them tomorrow with an update and see if they can correct their mistake as they also gave her the van/truck pricing. At this point this feels very dishonest on their end and feels like they inflated the price as my wife isnt familiar with pricing of most things car related.

I had a good experience. They took me without an appointment and got it done within a reasonable amount of time. Only lost 1-star for the gal behind the cashier counter talking (loudly) on speakerphone about her personal drama. Id still do business with them again.

Came in with a coupon and was told the charge would be $10 more because "of the size" of my car. It's a Mazda 5 which is no larger than a Corolla. I went ahead and agreed to the charge because I wanted it done then but I won't be back.

I had to get both catalytic converters replaced to pass my smog check. It was a process but we got it done. The accossiates working at this facility were great! They were very polite and very knowledgeable. Thank you!

Got me in right away. Accepted coupon from Google Maps. Seemed to be some up charges. A/C cooled waiting room available to customers.

Took our older Town&Country in for a smog test. Everyone there was professional ,friendly and efficient. David went beyond everyday customer service when we had trouble with our computer "readiness". Great experience!Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification

I went in here and was totally impressed with the gas station side of the buisness.. The cashier was Jazz and she was really super nice and informative. She was smiling and very friendly. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and proper! Which truly impressed me. And they sell E85 gas which is absolutely wonderful because it's more than a dollar cheaper,;) I would definitely recommend stopping and checking it out for yourself... You wont regret it

I couldn t be more pleased with my experience with Tokay Smog! I had the privilege to work with Andrew. He definitely knew his stuff. Anyone that needs a smog check, I highly recommend they go to Tokay. You definitely won t be disappointed. Thank you again, Andrew! You truly made my day. Excellent customer service!

I know so many people that have been ripped off by this place. They take advantage of people, especially women, that don t have much knowledge about cars. Please no matter how much of discount the coupon will give you don t go here.. Your car will most likely not pass smog and they ll try to pressure you into getting it repaired right away. They told me they were swamped with work but could make time for at that very minute to repair whatever thing they made up that my car needed. I took my car the next day to my mechanic and he said that everyone in the business knows they re crooks. Especially stay away from the smog father Andrew I believe his name was. Be careful people

After just moving to Lodi I needed a mechanic for a fairly simple adjustment to the drivers seat in my truck. Having no idea where to go I asked around and was told the guys at this Shell station were really great. I went in and Andrew, the mechanic on duty, immediately got to work and soon had the problem fixed. Even though it only took minutes and was essentially a minor problem, the method for solving it was tricky enough to necessitate a call to my former mechanic - who'd mastered the technique. Andrew amiably spoke w/ him and three minutes later had it fixed. Not only that, he proactively prevented the problem from recurring, something my former mechanic (who was awesome) had never done. When I asked him what I owed & he told me not to worry about it, since it'd been so simply and only taken minutes. Needless to say I was very, very satisfied with their service!! My husband and I will be using them for all our vehicles from now on.

Service was okay.this guy over charged us because license plates are from Washington. Called a different place and shouldn't be charged more for that its the same process. Said it was 40$ charged us 83$ when it was time to pay .do not go here dont recommend this place.feel taken advantage of .tells you a cheap price when its time to pay doubles it once work is done .

This is a Kwik Serv Station not a Shell and the only place in Lodi you can get e85 fuel @$4.23 9/10 a gallon the smog people are very knowledgeable also. I tested the guy just to see if he had any idea of the subject of the catalytic converters I needed for my car, which there are very few available and a lot of wrong information on the web. he caught all 4 of the wrong things I asked him about and was very polite about it.. i would recommend this guy anytimeService: Emissions testing

This morning I stopped by to get gas and I locked my car with the keys inside , thank fully they were able to help me out, the guy was very helpful and nice, I m so grateful, I 100% recommended this location. Thank you so much again!!!

...I am a single mom who has been taking advantage from every place i had went to for service.. so i went to the Honda dealership. .thinking that they would be honest with me..they said that could not find anything wrong but n it would be best to get a complete $1500 tuneup . I heard great ratings from all my friends about how honest these people are at this Shell station so I decided to let them do a full inspection on my van... The guy named Andrew said that there is NOTHING wrong with my van and that it did NOT NEED a tuneup..I insisted that there HAS to be something wrong because all these places keep telling me this. I even insisted him driving my van... so he did... and he still kept telling me that everything is great.... when i was in line ready to pay , I could not help but cry. Finally a place that did not take advantage of me i will tell all my friends. God bless this Shell station. And all the people there

This place roped me in with an inexpensive smog test, then demanded a $129 diagnostic fee when it didn't pass. This car has less than 27,000 miles on it. Drove it on the freeway for 5 minutes, took it to an (honest) station, and it passed. I am an older female. I hope they don't prey on the unwary.Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification

I got a coupon in the mail and stopped by to get my car smogged. The coupon didn t say anything about trucks being more expensive and I didn t really buy the reason the lady told me why they charge more so I went looking for a different place. I ended up coming back here because even though I would have much rather paid the coupon price, the regular price was still cheaper than the other smog places in the area (I went to at least 4 other places). I ended up bringing another vehicle here a few days later and was frustrated because they still wouldn t give me the coupon price. It was a Subaru Baja which is technically a truck, even though it s the exact same engine and drivetrain as the Subaru Outback. So, once again, it was still the cheapest place I could find, but I didn t get the coupon price. It would be nice if the coupon stated that the lower price was only for specific types of vehicles. They staff was very friendly, though, which is the only reason why I would come back.

If you are planning on using their smog coupon be sure to tell them you have it when you give them your keys! The coupon does say to present it before service but since there wasn t a very clear check in process I just figured I would show it when I paid. I am responsible for not reading more carefully, but I am still very disappointed that they wouldn t honor their own coupon and despite having it I paid double what I would have if they had.

This place is a hit or miss. NOt trustworthy. The service here and inside of the the store is an absolute roll of the dice. If you have any type of coupons for discount make sure you stick it on you forehead before you even get out of the car. They do nOt like giving breaks and will try and charge for every possible thing they can. If you want my advice...Keep on looking and go somewhere else.

Love this smog check location. Always excellent service and they're really quite nice. They are attached to a gas station so you can buy lotto and a energy drink or whatever toasts your muffin.

Not very friendly smog tecs i asked that they not touch my windows as the motor is broken and i am in the process of retiring the car so im not fixing it. He said ok as he seemed like he understood what i was saying. Now my window is stuck down because he either didnt understand my english or he just didnt listen to me. Im very upset that i paid for this and now im stuck with my window down witha two year old in my car. I hope someone gets back to me and fixes this problem either gives me a return for the issues or fixes my window. This is my only car as of right now the fact that i have to drive around very unsfely blocking the wind for my son in the backseat sucks. Please have the owner reach out to me. Asap

Beware! I brought my car in for a smog check. The tech Phuvinh Chung spent a few minutes and told me it failed - OBD not ready. I told him it had always passed by huge margins, but he told me it failed. He would do a diagnostic for $90, but after the problem was resolved I would have to pay the $50 for the smog check again. I went to pay and the cashier noticed he was charging me the $7.00 for the certificate plus the $43, but he didn't submit the cert. We looked for him, but he has mysteriously left for lunch or something, his tools were everywhere garage wide open. Anyway she removed the $7.00 fee. I took it to a mechanic down the street. Next day Valley auto called and said no problem was found, did you replace the battery recently? I told him yes. He said go have the Star smog done somewhere else. He gets cars from Tokay shell that failed, with a loose hose or just a reset battery. So if you take your car to Tokay shell, get ready to pay $190 for your smog if you have a new battery. The tech was very unfriendly and did not ask me any questions. I've submitted a complaint to the State Of California, regarding dishonest business practices. Don't go here!

The fleck has no ATM kiosk when I asked for a cash machine. Told me to go to the bank if I wanted more than $20 cash back on a purchase. Then charged $1.50 for cash back on a purchase. Never said hello or goodbye. Didn't seem to care about my business. Maybe why station was empty.

Charged me full price for a smog when my check engine light came on in the middle of my smog check...manager was cool and said he would hook me up if I came back...came back when he said he would be there after I performed repair and of course he wasnt there. I was there already so I asked the smog tech if I could get a smog and explained the discount situation...he was kinda rude, begrudgingly hooked up the car and the check engine light came on again for tbe 2nd time after he plugged the computer...he said it was a "dealer only" code and he couldn't pull it up on his code scanner. I went home and plugged in my $50 OBD2 code scanner...low and behold 1 code popped up...it was a common code...not too stoked...so I sold the car as is and the new owner smogged it no problem in the Bay Area.
