The mechanic was extremely helpful and tried to help troubleshoot our problem. He was very nice, gave us advice and helped us get our car up to inspection level. So kind, friendly and trustworthy! No up sale, no lies, straight shooter. After going to two other places in Lodi that could not smog our Class A motorhome we called Alpine. We explained to the owner that we had driven from out of the area to the first place- with an appointment only to be told their smog machine was down. The second scratched our rv and the guy did not know how to smog a Class A motorhome. We called Alpine, explained our situation and the owner was great. He fit us in even though they had no appointments for a week. Frank was great. He helped steer us into their property, conducted the smog with great customer service and professionalism.We cannot thank them enough!Great place to do business with.Service: Smog certification

I called to get a quote for a STAR certified SMOG for a 2000 mini truck, single cab 4 cyl. They quoted me at least $20 higher than most other shops! When they say "trucks" cost more to smog...that is SUPPOSED to mean Big trucks...full size or bigger because they take more time to do...but not mine!! It's a dinky little chevy s10 smaller than most cars! I heard good things about alpine, but got disappointed on price.Service: Smog certification

Professional and friendly. Booked an online appointment for smog check. Was politely called to confirm availability. Had a 3 o'clock and was done by 3:15. I will definitely be returning when it comes time to recertify the rest of my vehicles

I got a smog test here after a disaster at a "cheaper" place. What a difference. I was allowed to stay in my car, and the entire test and payment was under 15 minutes. Gary is a very nice, efficient guy. Highly recommended.

I was there at 9:00 a.m. They took my car immediately for required smog check. They ran the test and transmitted it to DMV and I was on my way home in less than half an hour. How much more satisfactory can it get?

Alpine Smog repaired multiple engine problems with my 2003 Honda Pilot. They did a excellent job on each repair. Price was reasonable and work was excellent. Did a good job on my smog but I asked for an estimate on some repairs. They said they had to call to see how much the parts would be and they would call me the next day. Well its been 2 weeks and I haven't heard from them.

I was referred to this business from Giant Discount Tire for a SMOG test on my car, I pulled into the parking lot & was greeted by the owner. He tested my car right away, it passed & I was able to also purchase my car tags from his business. Very friendly & professional.

No help at all. Charged $48, car won't pass smog. Called BAR and got info on programs designed to help.

They wanted $50 bucks for an Uber inspection. Everyplace else charges $20 or the free and I ll Grove. I told him to shove it.
