I wish you could give a zero star rating. Went in for warped brake rotors and an exhaust leak at the manifold due to a sheared/stripped bolt that holds the manifold to the engine. The exhaust leak at the manifold also caused an annoying ticking sound. Not too long after, the ticking was back and I had gone to Les Schwab for a brake inspection. They informed me I still had warped rotors and replaced them for me. This finally fixed the shaking when using the brakes. I tore into the exhaust problem myself only to find that Livermore auto and tire had shoddily put the broken bolt back into the stripped out hole that was causing the exhaust leak/ticking sound. Almost $1500 worth of parts and labor for absolutely nothing. Don is also a little rude and spoke to me as if I knew nothing as I described the issues with my truck to him. I have included images of both work orders from Livermore auto and tire and Les Schwab, the failing exhaust gasket, the broken bolt, and the still stripped hole with the end of the broken bolt still in it! If they had actually done the work this bolt would ve been thrown away and I wouldn t have it.

They did an incredible job with my car. Had a ton of issues going and got me back on the road with a solid rundown of what was done. They are very thorough and are very fast to get you in and out. Won't be going anywhere else!

I have had both my Toyota Prius and Jaguar XJR services here for oil changes, alignment and smog. Very convenient downtown location right around the corner from my office. They always do great work at very reasonable prices. Told me the the diagnostic would be no charge. It was 140.00 always get everything in writing. Left this place feeling dirty! Also I needed a new engine there cheapest with a used engine was 7,800.00. They knew I was stuck. I called my Mechanic Julio with JCR performance in Sacramento. He quoted me 4600.00 and he towed it from Livermore to Sac.

My brother has been taking his vehicles here for many years and always raved about the service. After getting a HUGE quote from a dealership, for much needed work on my Tacoma, I brought it in here. They did twice the job for nearly half the cost.Double-thumbs up for Johnny and the whole crew at Livermore Auto & Tire. I can't remember my truck ever driving his great.Thanks guys,Mike E.

My family and I have taken no less that five different cars and trucks to Livermore Auto & Tire for over ten years. We always been happy with their service and price. I trust them to repair my kids cars, my wife's car and my truck.They may not give you the cheapest price around if that is all you are after. But if you are after a fair price and quality repairs, these are your guys.I have taken my 1978 Chevy Corvette, 1977 Dodge pickup, 2003 Mini Cooper, and my 2005 Nissan Titian, and other cars and we always feel they are honest and treat us fair.A really great bunch of talented repair guys! Maybe I shouldn't tell everyone? It's already tough to get an appointment!

I've taken my vehicles to Livermore Auto & Tire for the past 10+ years, and they always do honest and reliable work. I've never had any concerns with them trying to sell me on services I don't need. Great guys who do great work!

Great local mechanics. Everything from an oil change to a complete engine rebuild. This sounds negative but I wish they were open Saturdays but good for them that they don't need to be

So far I have used their service 3 times and every time I am amazed at their quality of work and exceptional value. I would recommend anyone researching an honest repair shop to give them a try and see for yourself.
