We had such a great stay here in December. Our room was super clean and had stunning views of the ocean. Complimentary breakfast is included with bagels, cereal, fruit, pastries and beverages which was a plus for us! The property is beautiful and well maintained. They even gave us some wine glasses and a bottle opener when we forgot so we could celebrate our anniversary, which was such a nice gesture! Definitely would stay here again if we are in the area!

We started our 3 night trip with electrical issues the minute we checked in! After 2 hours, it was found to be a breaker problem. The Maintenance Manager fixed it finally. We found the bathroom to have no hand soap.Door card kept disengaging while trying to get in at night and had to knock on office door for awhile to get innkeepers attention.More electrical issues kept happening the next day occurring within the building that we were sleeping in- not related to weather. When interacting with the Innkeeper, she was patient and attentive for most of the problems then became annoyed and suggested maybe we find another hotel on our last night there, in the middle of a storm...Rude!Especially since these incidents that happened to us were not out fault and not storm related.Eventually the Maintenance Manager fix the door card issue too. He was wonderful and happy to help!!When we asked the Office for some sort of compensation for all these major inconveniences and vacation disruptions, they claimed that the General Manager denied the request due to the already low winter season rates we were paying. We were disappointed and didn't feel the management to be sympathetic. On the bright side, it was a beautiful location with wonderful views.Nearby activities: Close to Mendocino and Fort Bragg

Came here with my husband from Oct 30th-1st & it was very quiet which was nice. We stayed in room #5 which has a king size bed & on the top floor so it had breathtaking views of the ocean and beautiful sunsets. Floors are tile to look like wood floors so they were a bit chilly on the feet at night but nothing that socks/slippers cant fix. Breakfast was fine, just enough to get your morning going with fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants, bagels & other pastries as well as fresh coffee & other drinks in the mini fridge. Mendocino is about a 7-10 minute drive & Fort Bragg is about a 20 minute drive.Very lovely hotel & staff, will definitely come here again (= Thank you for a wonderful stay and helping us create amazing memories.

The room was clean, updated, very comfortable, and quiet. From check in to check out, our stay was wonderful. There were many thoughtful touches including coffee/tea in the room, deck chairs on our patio, blankets in the armoire, frisbee golf on the front lawn, and a continental breakfast that had a good variety of pastries, yogurt, fruit and cereal. It's a pet friendly spot, so if you have a pet this would be a great spot for you! There are non-pet rooms as well. An added bonus is that every room has a view of the ocean.

This place is incredible! Perfect location, conveniently located near restaurants and a cool general store, friendly, accommodating staff, like Zach ( you were awesome! Thank you!), very clean, updated, and spacious rooms, with a nice deck to enjoy nature's bounty! Thank you for making our wedding anniversary trip memorable!Rooms: CLEAN, updated, spacious, and comfortable with your personal deck! An incredible value!Nearby activities: Dine at the Little River Inn . Make sure to get their clam chowder! It is THE best!; close to everything that Mendocino County offers.Safety: Very safe!Food & drinks: Go to the Little River Inn. We got lucky finding this place during our trip down the Northern California coast. It's farther off hwy. 101 than other inns we passed and up on a hill, so it was quieter and had beautiful views of a bay right across the highway. It was close to public bays, beaches, rivers, and the quaint town of Mendicino. Lovely rooms were painted a light "seafoam green," and there's a huge expanse of grass in front to play bocce (court provided) or frisbee golf (baskets provided). Plenty of comfy chairs arranged outside to enjoy the sunset. The workers and owners were very nice, and there was a a good (light) breakfast in the morning (muffins, bagels, cereals).

The room was exceptionally clean, the view is awesome and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had our dog with us and it was perfect for pets. They offered treats and toys for the dog and the deck off our room was enclosed so he could enjoy the outside without getting away! Zach was great, very friendly fun to chat with and he gave us suggestion for things to see and places to eat and we tried them all. Visited the Mendocino Botanical Garden, Pt Cabrillo Light Station and the Pygmy Forest in Jug Handle Preserve. We had a short but great two-night stay. Would love to go back soon!

Views of the Ocean!! Happened upon staying here last minute after getting tired. Staff was incredibly welcoming at 9pm. Dog friendly (even gave us a dog toy and treat bag). Rooms were so spacious with a personal (very large) porch. Late night outdoor fire area and huge lawn directly in front of your back patio door with a mini disc golf course and tons of room for play area. Complimentary pastries, yogurt, coffee, juice, and cereal was unexpectedly better than I expected. Beautiful cute ocean cottage feel! Wifi worked great! Only regret is I couldn't stay an additional day.

We had a wonderful stay at the Seafoam Lodge The room was very nicely decorated and comfortable but the best part was the incredible view of the ocean from our window. The sunset was just as spectacular. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating throughout the whole stay. There was even a continental breakfast with fresh muffins and a variety of foods. We will definitely be going back!

Seafoam lodge is an outstanding place. The rooms are spotless, the furniture makes the room cozy and the size and view of the room invites you to stay beyond sleeping. There is an incredible attention to detail throughout the room and the grounds. The manager is one of the friendliest hotel managers I've met. She shows true care for her guests and real ownership of the property. The complementary breakfast is very generous with an assortment of muffins, pastries, croissants, cereals, juices and fruit. If I could give it a higher rating I would and I can't wait to come back

We had an excellent stay at Seafoam Lodge. Our double queen room was well appointed and had a cute sitting area designed to take in the view through a wall of windows facing the ocean. The outside deck was the entire length of the room and nearly doubled the space available to us. The bathroom was clean and new and the product smelled great. The continental breakfast in the office had a sufficient variety and there was plenty to take for snacks during the day. We traveled with our dog and she was very happy there too. There was plenty of space to run around and play on the grounds. For us, it was the perfect combination of upscale and casual.

Comfortable & clean place to stay with gorgeous ocean views. Alex at the front office was very welcoming and we loved the light breakfast and coffee! Each room has an outdoor seating area partially shielded from your neighbors facing the water. We took in a beautiful sunset upon our arrival. A few minutes drive to the city of Mendocino, Van Damme & Russian Gulch state parks for hiking. We are already talking about a return stay!

Modest place. Comfortable and clean room. Very nice view of sea from some rooms. Continental breakfast. Excellent amount of hot water. It is located in a very central location and so drove south to Point Arena and north beyond Fort Bragg and saw some fantastic views and ate at some very nice places in our few days of stay here. I think the rate we paid was reasonable for the area.

Had a 5Star experience at this place the lodge is retro but very modern. Very clean and cozy rooms. Good WiFi and TV . The inn keepers are so very nice and helpful. She had warm chocolate chip cookies for us as we checked in for the night. And gave us details on the great places for dinner. Show your room key and get a additional discount . The views from the patios on all the rooms are awesome and if your there be sure to catch the sunsets . Wish we could have stayed a few more nights but we were on road-trip and our next stop was San Francisco. Definitely would recommend this place to everyone. Be sure to check out there IG page too!

Bring an eye mask if you need a dark room to sleep!I have mixed feelings about my short stay at Seafoam Lodge. The pros are: a clean, tasteful, nice sized room, comfortable bed and good shower. Partially obstructed ocean view. The cons are: I had a hard time sleeping because my room was lit by porch lights on both sides, and the drapes did not fully darken the room. I didn t understand why the porch lights remained on all night, and could not be turned off. Also, the Continental breakfast was minimal, more like a small selection of soft bagels, muffins, donuts and yogurt, and coffee, juice or hot chocolate. The outdoor eating area is small and cold in the morning shade. For the cost of the room (over $400 per night) I felt the value did not live up to my expectations. Nevertheless, it is still a nice place to sleep if you are prepared for the light.

Pet friendly and Koi Pond! Drinks available for $1 in office, great coffee in the mornings, huge private decks with ocean views and you hear the ocean all day long. Friendly kind staff, even the construction trades who are making this resort even more awesome. Rooms in excellent condition. Family friendly huge field for kids to explore off your deck, forest behind you, ocean ahead. Like the Willie Nelson song, as the sun sets west of the Mendocino County line this place is way better than any chain hotel in Bragg.

Cute lodge with oceanview rooms. The minimalist but beautiful interior design was very nice. Rooms were very clean and included all the necessary amenities, such as coffee machine, fridge and microwave, shower necessities and even sanitizer. Each lodge room had its own deck overlooking the ocean and a place to sit and enjoy the sun and scenery. The lady at the office was super nice and helpful. Continental breakfast included.

Beachy remodeled rooms that was perfect for the 3 of us. Each room had its own small deck with a 4 man table and two deck chairs. Great to enjoy a meal and drinks and watch the gorgeous sunset. Staff was extremely helpful. They offered a small breakfast every morning and snacks for the kids throughout the day. Ideally situated close to Mendocino, beaches, shops and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

Seafoam lodge was a clean and comfortable home base to explore the area. It's a short drive from Little River and Van Damme State Park. Mendocino is about 10 minutes up the coast and Fort Bragg just a little further. It's easy to explore that whole area from the lodge. I agree with other reviewers that the automatic lights in the bathroom are less than ideal because they are very bright and shine into the room in the middle of the night, but other than that the room was cozy and comfortable to spend time in. The room I originally choose based on pictures wasn't what we initially got check-in to, but Seafoam lodge was accommodating and honored the room style I'd thought I booked. It's a great room with a great view for the price. We were lucky and did not hear any noise from our neighbors just the frogs in the pond at night.
