Lemon Grove Transmissions is simply the best! They've on a few of my cars, and every time, they've done a fantastic job. What I love most is that they're honest no shady business here. They're upfront about what your car really needs, and they won't pressure you into unnecessary stuff.Their work is just amazing. It's like they have a magic touch with transmissions. I've never had a problem they couldn't handle, and my cars run like a dream after they work their magic.But what really sets them apart is how they treat you. They're straight shooters if something needs fixing right away, they'll tell you. And if it can wait, they'll let you know that too. It's that kind of honesty that makes me trust them completely.I can't recommend Lemon Grove Transmissions enough. If your car needs some love, take it to these guys. They're the real deal, and you'll drive away happy every time.

Jeff is the man ! Strait up thank you for your excellent customer service and honesty. I found Lemon Grove Transmission through the BBB and saw the previous reviews all had nothing but good feedback. This shop is family owned and operated and i couldn t be more pleased with the value they bring to their customers. I immediately took both cars to the shop , a subaru and acura for preventive maintenance . Jeff had told me in advanced how much the estimates were and if our cars didn t need anything additional it wouldn t make sense to charge me for it. I really appreciate his integrity and being forward with me. Lastly the turn around was 2 days and cars are back on the road doing what they re intended to. Thank you Jeff and techs working at Lemon Grove transmission , I found my forever shop( clutch replacement $1660 and 60k service with alignment $800)

Best service in town. Got my truck in right away when I called ahead. Diagnosed her quickly and worked with my warranty company to get the job approved. Had the truck back much quicker than expected. Recommend them to anyone I know around SD.

I took my moms Lexus in to have the transmission issue addressed. They recommended the best options and the pros and cons to each. Great and kind service. Honest and respectful. As a woman I appreciated their service and honestly.My issue was with Ford transmission. Bc of recall / extended warranty they encourage me to take to Ford dealer, after their evaluation and pricing, Lemon Grove Trans offer great feedback and guidance on how to get the best service for my car.

I have been taking all of my family vehicles to Jeff for the last 12 years. He has been amazing! He is very fair on pricing for parts and labor. Always super fast getting you back into your vehicle, unlike most mechanics/dealers. I recommend Jeff any time someone ask for a good mechanic! I trust him with any and all of my vehicles. If you choose Jeff, you have chosen right!!! Thank you Jeff.

My father recommended this shop when my car started having a few different problems. Jeff was kind, efficient, knowledgeable and fair. He told me what needed to be fixed immediately and what could wait. The turn around was very quick. The pricing was fair. The work was thorough and done well. I will only be going here in the future. Can't recommend enough!

These guys are always so courteous, patient, nice, affordable, honest and fast. I never have to feel like I am being taken advantage of because Jeff is so nice and honest. You can tell that they care about the customers and the service they preform over making a ton of money.

The BEST MECHANIC SHOP in San Diego and you know what Ever!! Professionalism at its best, Honest, Fair on Time,well if you ever dream of find a shop like this...welp You just Did. Jeff + Lemon Grove Transmission are the best. I ve had the worst luck with mechanics the last few years and Jeff came highly recommended to me by my landlord who s been going to Jeff for years. I am so happy I took his recommendation because I ve had the best experience with Jeff. Very honest, very fair in pricing, never does work that s not needed, and my 4Runner is running smoother than it has in a while. Thank you :-)

Took my 2010 Ford Ranger in to replace the driveshaft. They were extremely quick. They did an excellent job. They wrote me a letter informing me of other maintenance tips I'd might want to address. Very professional technician I spoke to, but don't currently have his name. I would highly recommend this location to anyone. They were very honest and straight to the point.

We called Lemon Grove Transmission after driving from Yuma, AZ and the steering on our F150 got very wobbly. Initially Jeff said he wouldn t be able to get to our truck until Monday. This was a Wednesday when we dropped off the truck. When he found out we were from out of town he moved us up to the front of the line which we didn t expect, but sure appreciated. We suspected the rack and pinion was bad but it turned out that one of our front tires was separating and was out of round. He also found a bad tie rod to be causing our problem. Long story short, we would definitely recommend Jeff and Lemon Grove Transmission for your car repair needs. Jeff was professional in his dealings with us and above and beyond to get us back on the road. He struck us as an honest person to do business with. Getting harder and harder to find that. Advice: ALWAYS (even after a full rebuild job) and later during the RECOMMENDED yearly transmission fluid change, to check the transmission cooler lines.... when it later fails and blows the entire transmission be prepared for another $2,800 job, even if it wasn't caught during all service earlier somehow, and nothing was hit underneath it since at all. When it comes to cars you live, you learn. A good shop for transmission repair. I recommend.

This is my go to mechanic shop, they do great and honest work. One time I went to a different mechanic due to them being within walking distance of my house and that was a huge mistake the guy just fixed some random thing despite me telling him my coolant was leaking. A few days later my coolant started leaking again! I took my car across town to Lemon Gorve Transmission and they found the leak asap. Will never go to another place again, my loyalty is to lemon grove transmission.

Highly Recommend. Took my car to Honda for the AC. They quoted me $1k and a few days of work. A friend recommended Lemon Grove Transmission, brought my car in and it was fixed within a few hours for WAY less than what Honda quoted me! Great, fast and friendly service!

3 Years now. Jeff and his guys here are really a special kind of Mechanics . These guys get your vehicle done @ always a good amount of time no matter what is wrong . If you ever been there in there shop its the cleanest shop hands down, you will never see this @ too many shops . Even Oil Changes are in n out . Love coming here , no worries, stress release . Go! Great service! Great people. These guys are the only place I take my Tacoma for service. They do so much more than just transmissions. They never try and upsell me with something i don't need. One of the few honest places to take your car.

Other than terrible parking, they replaced my transmission pretty quickly and did a check up at about 1600 miles. I feel like it was a bit over priced. But it did come with a 3yr/100,000 mile warranty.
