Fast and great price. Took my work van for emergency rear brakes. They took me in right away and where able to replace rotors and pads before closing time. Very grateful for your service and lots of thanks for getting back to work next day.

This place was definitely a great place to go to!! I had to get my brakes fixed and they were able to fit me in the day I called due to a cancellation! Very friendly workers and very informative with what was wrong with my car. Will definitely be coming back and using them again in the future!

If you're looking for a legit mechanic who will be honest, timely, and kind, then this is your spot!!! Eric and his team at Don Henderson have always been more than accommodating and polite. If he can not do the job, he always has a good recommendation. This shop seems to stay busy, but they always make time for a clear and informative conversation when you need it. Hands down the best mechanic I've ever known!!! Thank you Eric & team!!!!!

Best mechanic shop around by far! Very reliable, professional, and supportive. Eric really cared about his customers and their cars. I had my car brought it after it kept shutting off on on the freeway. Within the first few minutes of being on the phone with Eric, I felt much more relieved during this stressful time. This shop definitely earns all their 5 stars with honesty, reliability, and amazing customer service. The only thing is, I wish I would have found this shop sooner! :) thank you again Eric for all your help.

If you're in the area this is the shop to go to. Eric will give you quality repairs better than the dealership for a fraction of the price. On top of that, they are incredibly fast. Repairs that I was told would take 5 days were done in 2. I was very concerned going in because I, like many people, know nothing about cars and felt embarrassed that I could only describe the strange sound it was making. I had previously received a high estimate from another mechanic and was sure that was what I was going to have to pay. Not only did Mr. Eric keep me informed about what was to be done about my car, he happily and warmly educated me on which parts of the car was an immediate concern and which were not, walked me through what was done and but he genuinely changed my perspective of mechanics and customer service... all for FOURTH (1/4) of the price.Very well done Sirs!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

If you re looking for an auto shop to get your vehicle worked on... here is where you must go! I cannot say enough good things about Eric and his staff at Don Henderson Auto Service. No one is happy when they need to get their vehicle worked on but you want a mechanic that is honest, trustworthy, dependable, and reliable. That s Eric and his staff at Don Henderson Auto Service. I ve taken several vehicles there over the last 15 years and I have never been unsatisfied with their work. I have recommended them to all of my friends. They provide exactly what they claim... auto service excellence!

Best mechanic I have ever had! Used to go to Allman but would always get ripped off. The prices here are very reasonable and I never feel like I m getting sold anything I don t need. Everything is explained to me and I notice a huge difference after always whether it s my car not shaking anymore to even noticing better gas mileage. My cars are running better than ever. They always go above and beyond to make sure your experience is good. As long as I m in San Diego I ll continue going to Don Henderson. Very highly recommend them.

The level of professionalism and integrity at this shop speaks volumes! When other mechanics and dealerships were misleading us on what repair we needed Don helped us and didn't charge us the hundreds of dollars that the others were leading us to believe we needed. This shop is honest and trustworthy and we are grateful to have found them. Thank you for helping us when we needed it most! Five stars are not enough to reflect their professionalism and integrity.

My parents found this place before it changed owners and it was awesome. Since the change it is still awesome. Eric and everybody there have the best customer service I've ever encountered. I actually feel safe bringing my car to these guys, and they are the only ones. They tell you exactly what is going on and what they plan on doing. If they need to buy a part, they will shop around for the best price and compare what it would cost to get the part from a third party instead of the manufacturer, give you advice on what he thinks would be best, and then let you decide. These guys have helped me in every way when I've brought my vehicle in. A while back my transmission was acting funny so Eric sent me to CDO Transmission which he had recently bought, and they were awesome too. I will always take my vehicles to Don Henderson.

Been taking my wife's car here for at least 2 or 3 years now and wouldn't think about taking it or any other car anywhere else. Eric and Jami are extremely friendly, honest and reliable. These three things are hard to find in a shop. I'm proud to say that I take my cars here and I am constantly telling friends and family about this shop. If you're looking for a good mechanic, you just found a great one!

I've been bringing my auto repairs to Henderson for six years now. Their work is solid and reliable, no BS when giving estimates and staff have been hugely helpful when looking for services they don't provide. You'd do well giving them your business.

They were recommended to me by a friend when I moved to San Diego 5 years ago, and I've been going to them ever since. They set a standard I've yet to see anywhere else! Excellent knowledge, they don't overcharge, and they're honest. Thoroughly impressive service and helpful attitudes. I'm passing my recommendation on to everyone I can!

Love this place! They were very informative about what was going on with my Cabrio and it overheating. Jaime even proposed a cost saving option which was much appreciated. Even when my vehicle started overheating a few days after I got her back, they immediately took her in and fixed her small issue for free. Would recommend this place to anyone with an auto issue.

Awesome service, doubt I will use anyone else but Don Henderson again. I had these guys fix a idle control valve about 2 years ago. First off, in my model most repair shops fix both valves because they don't want to take the time to test which valve it is. It just so happens one is VERY expensive. Lucky for me, the folks at Don Henderson pinpointed it and the cheaper one was the problem. Fast forward two years (a few weeks ago). The same issue arises and and I just assume that I will have to pay for the repair again. Well guess what. They called the manufacturer of the part and were able to warranty it, AND replaced it for free. NO LABOR. Who does this? These guys. They've gained my trust which in the auto repair world is hard to do.

The customer service here is fantastic. Eric is a great guy. They take care in their work, and give you direct explanations of the issue. It can be a bit busy, so it's best to make an appointment.

Best mechanics in san diego!!! Fair pricing no mistakes! They diagnose and repair the first time!! I've had 5 or 6 cars in there multiple times. I'm alway upset if I take my cars else ware I always get screwed....see Eric the owner you will never go anywhere else guaranteed !!!!

Absolutely 100% without a doubt recommend this place!!! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Not only are they super friendly but they are 100% honest and up front about everything we've taken two cars here and definitely regret not finding this place sooner. And they offer ride share incase you arnt able to drive home or can't pick up the car.

Great service. I normally do my own mechanic work, but for the jobs I can't do I use Don Henderson. They put in a new Jasper motor for me just in time for my wedding.

I take my cars right here for all my maintenance. Specialist, friendly and also they do great. They have actually done extra help me at no charge before also.
