Words won t do justice to explain the amazing experience I had with A-1 RV Repair. I m from out of town and had an incident where my black tank was crushed. I called A-1 because of other reviews and from the first phone call they went into problem solving mode..had me send pics, then guided me to get the black tank I needed on my own to expedite the process. They asked a lot of questions and answered all of mine.. they kept in contact with me thru texts and were true to their word that they would fit me in to repair as soon as I had the tank in hand..It wasn t a two week wait or postponing a thing. They made me feel listened to from the first phone call.. calmed me down and made my bad situation as good as it could be. Their knowledge about what I needed done was amazingly thorough.. they fixed the mistakes of a previous rv repair guy and took complete pride in their work. They got the work done sooner than expected and even waited for me to drive 5-6 hours from where I was staying to come pick it up. I have no doubt that any repair that you need done, they can do it professionally, but also make you feel like family. They explained all that they did with a passion that shows just how invested they get with their customers needs. I also saw how well they juggled multiple customers at a time, making sure they knew exactly what was going on with their repair. I promise, you won t regret working with A-1 RV Repair for all of you RV repair needs.

Long story, short �I am impressed by the quick, efficient and caring work of these folks.I had an issue with my water heater, and they offered me same-day service, saving me a huge headache.The Service Writer, Daniella, was communicative and very helpful in submitting my work order and finding a technician to help me.Patrick did a great, thorough job with the repair. He took the time to explain what both the issue and the fix were. And he also took the time to make sure that everything was good to go so I would have no further issues.Thank you, A1!

Last February (2022), I scheduled this company to come out to my home to replace a couple vents and make some minor improvements on 2 RVs. I had a vent replaced in one of them because it was over the bed and I wanted to get it changed before we got into the rainy season. Jorge came an hour late. He showed up without a ladder and no drop cloth. I gave him a garbage can for the trash but he still left parts on top of both RVs (I found weeks later). He was on the phone a lot and when I asked, he said he was one the phone with Karla. Someone followed up with me from the shop about doing more work that I had mentioned to Jorge but I didn't respond because I wasn't sure I wanted Jorge to return. Initially, he seemed courteous but the sloppiness concerned me. Well, a lady who had been staying in there noticed a droplet on the cabinet over the bed several months ago...it was cooler so I wondered if it might be condensation with the heater. After these recent very hard rains, droplets formed again and kept coming. I had replaced the vent barely a year ago so I figured it couldn't be that. I wondered if it was the roof. I called and emailed A1 and they were slow to respond. I looked for another referral and they came right out. Upon inspection of the roof, they found some concerns with the vent installation. I contacted A1 right away. Because of the concerns, they carefully removed the caulk and screws in order to re-install it and discovered hidden issues. Different screws were used, the water seal had been cut, there were signs that the prior vent had been removed likely too forcefully, the caulk was not bonded properly to the roof to ensure no water intrusion. The water had been slowly coming in and leaking into the insulation which is why it too so long to notice. A1 denied liability at every point. I sent them videos of the outside and inside and invited them out to see for themselves. Only Karla and Daniella have been in contact with me...no sign of an owner who has the skilled expertise to understand the concerns in the video. Karla blames me saying she wished I had told them about my concerns with Jorge before. Well, if she's not going to take these very clear details in, how could I expect her to take in the initial ones? DONT TAKE YOUR RV HERE...and if you do, have them walk you through every bit of the work they did and video it...you can't see what is hidden and they're betting on it with their "1-year work warranty".

2020 Phoenix Cruiser with A slide out issue which had caused damage to the floor and the electric exit step not functioning. Scheduled appointment while still in Oregon and the list of concerns had grown by the time we arrived. This included leaking from the shower and grey tank, issues with the macerator, fallen closet mirror and broken latch. They were in contact with our service insurance provider regarding what was and probably wasn't covered. Communicated well with us along the way and had it finished much sooner than we expected! We plan to go back home through San Diego to see them if we develop any new issues. It will be worth any extra drive! The work was excellent and they were great people to work with. Highly recommend their services!

Awesome place! 100% recommended. Great quality and price value. These guys are experts with great customer service. Got our solar power system working well. Installed a dual battery set up for us and repaired a bad switch. Very flexible with us.

Brought in my RV for generator problem today. First time there. Wow, Patrick is a quick, methodical surgeon! He located, diagnosed and fixed 3 different problems with it from fuel supply to primer pump to carb gummed up. All that in one hour for a ridiculously fair price. My 1998 rubber roof is a shambles so Carla explained a new roof process. While that s exactly what it needs, I m not in a position to afford that right now. So, she expertly explained the chemical compositions of the thing and told me what band aid products I could use for a DIY fix for now. So refreshing to find a repair shop that wants the best for its customers even when they are not gonna profit from it. I ll be back next time I need honest service! Thanks again Patrick and Carla!

Carla and Patrick from A1 RV Repairs were absolutely fantastic! We undertook the conversion of a used bookmobile into a mobile STEM classroom last year, aiming to reach schools and libraries across San Diego County. 4.8. I would have given a 5 because they were great about fitting us in on an emergency rv slide issue while we were traveling. The only concern was trying to contact them after we paid our mobile fee and the tech was late. We just kept getting a text that said they were on another line. It concerned us that it was a scam, but it was legit and he did a great job on a difficult fix.

Fast response and amazing service!I reached out to A1 RV repairs and had an appointment two days later. They arrived exactly on time and the gentleman who helped me was exceedingly professional, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to teach me while he was servicing my RV, and gave me a lot of advice on how to prolong the life of my RV from a maintenance standpoint, highly recommend! you cannot go wrong working with this company. I will use again! You should too! If I could give more stars I would!

Carla and Patrick were fantastic! The day before a long road trip that I had planned months in advance, my hot water heater broke and leaked throughout my camper van. Carla and Patrick happily took me in last second, helped me understand everything that needed fixing and how to fix it, and did a fantastic job in completing the job in time before my road trip. You can tell they care deeply about their work and their customers - I will 100% be going back to them next time I need RV help!

I was in the process of winterizing my travel trailer for an emergency trip up north when the water pump stopped working. I reached out to A1 RV repair, and they were able to identify the problem and fix the issue quickly so that my trip was not delayed. Again, I can't say enough about Daniella, Karla and Patrick at A1 RV repairs. I was in the process of selling my RV and needed help with a repair before the sale. Patrick was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and knew exactly what needed to be done. They were super busy but made sure to get the work done in order for me to complete the sale. They were very communicative and made the process easy with online estimates and payment methods. Daniella helped me initially to identify my specific generator and the parts I would need to fix the problem. Patrick came to my daughter s home to access the problem. After determining a faulty fuel pump, the RV was towed to A1 s yard in Lemon Grove. Patrick really knows his field of work, and the RV is back in it s driveway in San Diego. A1 got everything working and for a fair price and great service, we re back in business. A1 RV Repair came to me thru another LTV owner and they were everything he described in being helpful to me with my Generator Tune up. Patrick met me at exactly the time of our appointment and did a quick diagnosis on the situation. I asked him to check my propane flame on my stove as it seemed a little weak. My buddy said he needed a new propane regulator and this happened to be needed on mine too. I was getting low flame and my AC conked out after a few minutes of running... I was at 85% full on my tank. Cost was in line and i felt comfortable in leaving my vehicle with him over night. He did some additional multi-point inspections and said I would need new house batteries soon which was all that he saw on his inspections. Karla was great, informing me on costs and was able to get material in house quickly so I could bring my LTV in on my schedule. I would highly recommend them for future customers. Good personable people. knowledgeable and did what they said they were going to, in the time they said they would do it and at a price that I felt was honest and workable. I felt comfortable working with them and will use them again for any future needs on my LTV. Thanks A1 RV Repair!

Very honest and helpful in servicing my travel trailer. Total came in below estimate and work was done on time. All questions answered. A1 will be my go to for Camper service needs! They got me in inside of a week, others were scheduling in 6 weeks.

Had a small leak from the hot water heater that fried my converter. A1 showed up on time, quickly fixed the leak and connected a temp charger until a new unit could be installed. They are polite but severely over-charge. We needed two lithium ion batteries and an inverter installed, they quoted us nearly $4,000 for the parts and service. We told them we would buy the parts (they were charging 2x-3x more than Amazon for the same thing!!), and install the batteries ourselves. An inverter install should cost between $1,000-$1,500, yet they were going to charge $2,200 for the inverter alone. We had set this appointment for over a week, yet they waited til the night before to follow up. They called with several new questions, tacked on another $1,000 to our work order and canceled our morning appointment because they didn't have the new parts they'd decided we needed. They didn't offer to reschedule, just canceled. After hitting up our various RV communities, we were unable to find anyone who paid anything anywhere near this amount for what we needed! They are overcharging by thousands of dollars!! Find another option, this place will leave you high and dry.UPDATE: Don't be misled by their response to my review. Everything about this experience was unprofessional and overpriced.

We have discovered our new RV repair guys!! I came across them quite accidently while googling RV repair shops near me. Although they are located in my neighborhood, I never knew they existed. But let me tell you, these guys are a true hidden gem! They performed all work within the time promised and exceeded all expectations! After the repairs to our older Class C, which we had purchased new 17 years ago, we took a short trip to Palm Springs as a "shakedown" cruise to test everything prior to our extended summer trip.Thanks to the expertise and professional repair services, our coach is actually quieter than the day we bought it!Our entire experience was incredible, and they make you feel like you are family, which quite frankly, is one of the perks when going to a mom and pop shop!!!Service: Body & Trim

I am amending my earlier review when I wasn't getting a response, from 1 star to 5 stars!A1 RV got in touch with me right away after seeing review, and apologized for not seeing my email.They promptly set up an appt for me, to change the old toilet in my RV for a new one.Jorge came out today and did a fantastic job!He informed me of everything he was doing along the way. Jorge was kind enough to clean the base of toilet area (old one had been leaking) really well, before installing the new one.He had me take a look at what he did and check his work. I am grateful he was so conscientious and professional.Jorge wasn't able to flush and clean the black water. I have to take it to the marina for that anyway. I didn't even know that was part of their service...a full service job!He called the office and had them refund me the labor for that, since he wasn't able to do it.I appreciate that Jorge, and I appreciate everyone at the office contacting me and getting this set up!I highly recommend thus business to anyone else, and I will be more than happy to give them my business in the future.:)Casey W.

This place is amazing. I had a last min brake issue. They understood my situation and they were in constant contact with me about what they found and if parts were available. Thankfully they got my repair done in less then 2 days even when I showed up last min and they toke care of me. If you need a place to fix your rv this is the place and I highly recommend them

We pulled our RV out of storage for our trip and discovered a fluid leak coming from the auto leveling system. We were a bit frazzled trying to diagnose and repair the problem in time for our trip and sent a text inquiry to A1 RV Repairs. First thing in the morning we got a text reply that they could handle the repair and when their openings were. Later that day, Patrick, the mechanic and owner, spent 25 minutes on the phone discussing the problem with my husband and offering suggestions. My husband was able to find and fix the problem himself thanks to Patrick's input. A1 RV Repair seems organized, knowledgeable and capable. We are so grateful they were willing to talk to us with no benefit to themselves. We will definitely use them for future RV repair needs.

The cable slide in my fifth wheel needed adjustment. Karla fit us in on the next business day. Patrick came out to our house early and fixed the problem within an hour. Very knowledgeable and honest. Highly recommend!

I am very happy with the work they preformed on our older RV. I was informed every step of the way. We had a leak and a few minor repairs needed. They were able to get my RV in quickly and parts ordered fast. Quality service and great customer relations! I will definitely be using them for all my RV needs from now on.
