Called several different shops about getting my carbs deep cleaned before calling this one. Mike was the only one who actually took the time to ask what the problem was and what I'd already done to try and fix it. Dropped the carbs off and a day later he says they're ready for pickup. Fixed my issue and the bike runs perfectly now on all 4 cylinders. Highly recommend.

I unexpectedly met kIm walking down the road trying to heal my injury. When she gave me her card I looked her up and I was a little skeptical because she had no online presents but I still went to visit her for an appointment anyways, I hurt my hamstring and I was an extreme pain, after my first visit a day later, I can honestly say I am over 50% better. She used what was called active release treatment which was a cold laser that helped heal the muscles that were injured. I m hoping to give her a little extra business, by using my knowledge of social media, and letting people know that she is as great as she claimed to be.

Mike and team do a great job and its obvious they take pride in their work. They got my old Yamaha running great and didn't suggest any unnecessary work to pad the bill. Hopefully I won't need much more work done but if I do, they're my first call.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Electrical repair, Engine repair, Battery, Oil changeServices: Carburetor cleaning, Electrical repair, Engine repair, Battery, Oil change

Bob and Danny are superheroes. These guys have gone above and beyond for me and my bike every time. I have had a nagging issue with my charging system and would always have to jump start the bike. They diagnosed the problems, gave me a loaner replacement part off one of their parts bikes, and got me back on the road. Once the new part gets in, the bike will be good as new. Seriously, these dudes have saved my life.

Amazing! I just moved to the area and needed someone who could work on an 84 Nighthawk oil leak and Mike did it right! Made extra sure the work was right before handing it back over. Would definitely go back for anything else in the future. Just a note, the shop is a little difficult to find if you haven't been there before. The address is Marine Ave but the door is behind the liquor store on the side street. Must've driven by several times before stopping to ask another mechanic shop where it was.

When LA cycle sports stopped taking "old bikes" I needed a new shop. Mike did a great job with both of my old Honda's which definitely needed some work. I really appreciated his quick but thorough inspection when I dropped the bikes off, and the work was done quickly and well.Services: Electrical repair, Brake service & repair, Oil changeServices: Electrical repair, Brake service & repair, Oil change

hey Bob, thanks for take the time to chat with me and commiserate over the difficulty of finding parts. Bob is a motorcycle psychic, he divined the conditions under which my '75 Suzuki tc185 seized And confirmed I was on the right path to success and provided some very useful insight. Bob must be a legend in the so cal Moto scene. cheers to you Bob!

I got this beauty all buttoned up and running like a champ with Moto Classic. I highly highly recommend checking these guys out for any Japanese vintage bike. Great knowledgeable guys that take their jobs seriously. Can not begin to explain how happy I was to bomb the canyons after picking the bike up.

Came to this place based on all the good reviews. Very nice on text. When I met the owner or not sure if he is the manager right away he hit me with why didn't I just buy a running motorcycle. Who does that?? My choice !!! I have a 1979 gs750 and I've own three Suzuki bikes. From brand new to now this classic. I asked for all new brakes , calipers , hoses , master cylinder and tires. One more thing , the fact that he walked right by me and not acknowledge that I waited for you to come in. Not many motorcycle shops gives this guy the power to treat people this way. Ordered everything on line and didn't have to deal with Mr smart mouth!! I think the name was Mike. I see a name Bob on old reviews , definitely not Bob.

I came in with a 1995 Yamaha Virago and I was pleased to find out that Steve, one of their mechanics, worked on the production line when Yamaha was still making Viragos. His experience showed. When I brought the bike to them I couldn't get it to start, and when rode away a day later, the bike worked better than I knew it could. They were all very friendly, helpful, and interested in making sure my bike worked as well as I wanted it to. Later I ended up needing a small spring to keep my idle speed screw from coming loose; I don't remember they name of the dude that was there but he dug through parts bins to find me something that worked. He didn't even bother to charge me for it.These dudes are good people. They're reasonably priced, they're skilled, and they care. I'm glad they're around.I couldn't recommend them more.

People were nice and seemed to be knowledgeable. Paid $350 for an oil change and a quick look over. They put the wrong size filter on my bike. 1 oil dump later and I'm having to replace year old tires, brake pads, and spend another $150 for an oil change. Thank God there's no damage to the engine. Paid more for service here than the same service plus at the dealership.Service: Oil change

When a botched replacement of the starter clutch on my Yamaha VStar 1100 by a disreputable nearby garage company bent a valve and destroyed my engine, I called up Bob at Moto Classic Garage. He patiently listened to my sad story and gave it to me straight - I needed a complete engine swap. Ouch. Feeling lost and confused as to how a small job could have caused so much damage, I brought my bike over to Bob's shop and now I won't take it anywhere else. Within days he had sourced a new engine and it was on its way. His mechanic Steve is also a great guy, taking the time to explain the workings of the engine and why changing the starter clutch can destroy it if you don't know what you're doing. He also went the extra mile to top up the fluids and check my cables, which was a very thoughtful touch.Bob charged me a reasonable price for a very large job and was helpful and transparent along the way. I'm very grateful for the work he and his team did to get me back on the road. Six months later my new engine is still running like a charm. Thanks guys.

Simply put, these guys are awesome! They love motorcycles and it shows in their work. Great prices too. I walked in with a rim and new tire, they changed my tire in a couple minutes. Their shop has a great vibe, pure motorcycle heaven. I had a nice chat with the owner while I waited. Highly recommend doing business here!

Let's start with pros:Working on my Honda CB750, these guys replaced my clutch and chain, installed a frame kit, and serviced part of my top end. They also replaced a throttle tube that apparently had broken. They did all of this in 4 days (parts arrived on Monday and I had the bike back early Thursday evening). The clutch and chain have held up well and the throttle was noticably easier to twist. The kit was installed correctly (not perfectly, but good enough for me). However, I take issue with a couple of things:1) The top end work was done to repair an oil leak. Their repair did not fix the leak, and I had to re-do the labor later to actually get it sorted.2) Their communication was quite poor. I was told on Wednesday evening what the repairs would cost when all was done. When came in to pick the bike up, the price had gone up by $300.3) They seemed quite liberal with their hourly billing. For instance, they charged almost half an hour of labor to remove and reinstall ignition coils. When I later performed this task (to re-adress the oil leak they didn't fix), I timed myself at 15 minutes. I was not rushing to do the labor in that time. Small difference, I know, but over the length of repairs I was having done, the difference became financially significant.Final thoughts:Bob and Mike are genuinely knowledge and nice guys. But they're definitely not my first choice as far as mechanics go. I'll be servicing the bike myself going forward.

They are honest and don't BS you in the quality of their work. They even went out of the way to check out other little things on my bike without asking like adjusting my clutch levers, putting air in my tires, chain tension check, checking rotors and brakes... And all I went in for was a dirty sidestand switch which they didn't even charge me much for! Great and knowledgeable guys for sure!

Thanks to Bob and the rest of the team at Moto Classic Garage, you guys left my yamaha XV250 feeling brand new. Came in for a chain and sprocket replacement and they took their time to look at other little details (clutch lever, brakes, recommended grease, adjustments etc). Real honest guys, fair price for a good service, will be coming here again.

I have a 2007 Suzuki GSXR 1000. Bob and his mechanics did a phenomenal job. I was well informed of the price as Bob called me to tell me the price before they lay a hand on lady. It was done promptly.I can't tell you enough how great of a shop this is.
